This hotel is nice because of the location and the amenities. They have restaurants and bars within the hotel that are very nice. The hotel also has many shops inside the building. The rooms are older, and some of the rooms are musty and humid. They could use an upgrade. The views from each room is amazing. I didn't get a chance to use the pools, but they looked nice and relaxing. The fitness room is decent for a quick workout. The area around the hotel is great for tourists, but traffic can get very bad during rush hour so be prepared. The shuttle service at the hotel for the river is convenient. Service at the front desk and concierge were above average. The executive lounge is nice, but they should extend the evening hours to at least 11pm. In summary, this is a nice hotel for many occasions and I would stay here again.

This hotel is dated, rooms are old but the staff keep them clean. The services were great, whether it’s at the lobby or up in the club. Location is good, close to Chinatown and you can take their boat shuttle to the mall across the river or a BTS station. There are also plenty of street foods and massages nearby; prices are super reasonable. Overall It’s fine for the room rate they charge. Shout out to Nimit and another young staff member (I did not get his name) working in the lobby and/or the club, they went above and beyond and we appreciated it!

Thank you for a memorable night ❤️❤️ I had such a wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, every department worked together as a true team to make me feel welcome. You can immediately feel the difference in how they greet you—it’s warm, genuine, and makes you feel like a valued guest. Everyone was friendly and extremely helpful, and the property itself offers excellent food. I was lucky enough to get a beautiful view from my room, which made my stay even more special. If I ever get the chance to return, I wouldn’t hesitate for a second. This place is a must-visit, and I truly recommend it to anyone looking for exceptional hospitality.

First time staying in this Marriott property. Walked past a couple of times thought it looked rather old and didn't pique my interest but still decided to give it a try. Stayed for 4 nights and as a member got an upgrade to the club lounge floor. Thought the decor was a little dated but was better than I expected. The only downside I thought wasn't so good was that the hotel isn't near any train station so most of the time had to rely on grab to get around, which was pretty okay for me. I liked the room and the scenic view of the Chao Phraya River and facing the Iconsiam mall. They do have direct ferry services every 30 minutes to the mall and also to Saphan Taksin BTS station. Quite like the lounge and the food they serve in the evening. A relatively decent spread but food was pretty good. Tried using the facilities like the gym and the sauna and was not bad, one of the rare hotels with two swimming pools, there is a hidden garden one which is just right after the washrooms on the gym level. Breakfast was quite a good spread but I didn't like having to go up and down the flight of steps to get food which can be difficult for some guests. I actually found this location pretty good because its just a short walk to the happening Song Wat street where its being very hipster now to chill and do cafe hopping. Its also pretty near to the Bang Rak area which also has quite a lot of good food. If you can walk a little more, Chinatown is actually within reach too. I was a little terrified based on previous reviews that there may be loud music at night but it was very peaceful for me even on the weekends. I guess a NO NO might probably be the New year's eve where might be noisy if you are an early sleeper with all the partying around and fireworks. Rates are pretty decent so its pretty worth trying it out.

While the rooms are outdated, the value of this hotel can’t be beat! As a first time visitor to Bangkok I had a hard time trying to decide what area to stay in. Staying on the river was definitely the right choice! Very easy access to many attractions on the public ferry or short Tuktuk. Overall a 5-star stay because of the amenities, location and exceptional service. Would definitely stay again.
