First time in Bangkok, really glad we picked this hotel. The room was lovely, we picked just a standard room as we weren’t planning on spending much time in it! Beautiful views of the river, and a great location in the city. The staff were excellent, the breakfast had loads of varieties so should suit everyone staying. The heat in Bangkok makes it hard to walk around all day so it was perfect to relax by one of two pools, a nice swim up bar, and a lovely outside bar area for drinks and food. Additionally it’s easy to get taxi’s (we used Grab a lot to get around) but also there’s a small ferry port right next to the Sheraton, you can transport easily either direction on the river so get where you want to go. Thank you Sheraton! When we come back to Bangkok we will stay here again.

Despite some of the reviews, we’ve had a good experience. The room is clean and comfortably furnished. Staff are friendly and helpful. As Platinum elite members we got a room upgrade and access to the executive lounge. The lounge had a nice buffet breakfast and happy hour appetizers. They have a full bar with lots of seating. The two pools, garden area, tennis court and gym offer lots of options for exercise. This was a comfortable place to get over jet lag and relax

Fantastic river view hotel.. Just superb location too- also got lounge access as per Titanium tier. Though out the day hardly anything is there, evening 6 to 8 they have simply delicious snacks with wide variety of cocktails. Desserts were also too good. Morning breakfast at lounge was not upto the mark though. If you plan to cover Grand palace, Asiatique etc during visit in Bangkok, plan for 1 day stay here - next to hotel you have pier which give great connectivity through river. And free shuttle to Icon Siam

It was good for the price. I used to like Marriott Marquis Queen's Park the best, But I think this hotel is the best in the Bangkok Marriott hotels when I evaluate the price, location, service, lounge, facilities, etc nowadays :) Every staff was so kind. The swimming pool was so good. The Lounge breakfast was delicious every day. The lounge coffee was also good 👍

Do not book here for end of year celebration. There are many better service and cleaner facilities in Bangkok for new year. A nightmare with a smile. This hotel gave us a connecting room after they told us the room originally assigned was not ready at 6pm when we came back after our meal. It is dirty and smells like mold. Rooms have been renovated since we came back from 3-4 years ago. But it’s the service that is terrible now. Front desk or reception on the phone sighs and complains to the me about they’re so busy. What?? We are here on vacation and they said they can’t change to our original room because you can’t work efficiently. I asked at breakfast if they can get me coffee and he said “get it yourself over there”. The tongs at breakfast are so sticky it sticks to your hands, literally. I thought it would be same great experience coming here again but it’s so bad I had to leave a review. It appears Thailand especially upscale hotels are taking profit over service. Tables and sofa in the room was so disgusting I had to wipe everything with a wet towel and we ended up sleeping late after cleaning the room. They said it was full booking. I should’ve taken photos before I cleaned the room. I took few pictures before I finished cleaning.
