The hotel is old, very outdated. You can clearly tell there hasn’t been any renovation in decades! When I arrived, no one helped me with my luggage. I had to take it out of the taxi myself. Then, to reach the reception for check-in, you have to go up a few stairs — again, no one offered to help with my bags. The check-in itself was just okay: the receptionist was indifferent. The elevator looks like it’s from the 1980s or 1990s! The carpet in the hallways is stained, dirty, and looks like it’s 30 years old. The rooms are simple, with old décor and a strange smell, and have no charm at all. The shower drain was clogged, so the water pooled up and created a small “lake” while I was taking a shower. You also can’t use the hairdryer in the bathroom because there’s no plug there. The body lotion smelled like a cheap product. My room was a connecting one, and I could clearly hear the guests next door talking. I called the operator to request a room change, but the front desk ignored me and never called me back. After waiting for an hour, I had to go downstairs myself to sort it out. The location is far from everything and with nothing interesting nearby. Overall, it was a poor experience. It’s a completely soulless hotel — it doesn’t look like a Grand Mercure at all. Maybe that’s why the hotel rate was so cheap — nobody wants to stay here. I would never stay here again.

We had 3 rooms for 3 nights. First 3 days of our family vacation in thailand. The rooms were okayish but the service and staff at the hotel is pathetic for a 5 star hotel. When we arrived on the first night the reception staff insisted that we pay for the booking with only thai baht and denied taking USD even for blocking. Then only after blocking my credit card they allowed us to check in at 2:00 Am in the night. On the second night i ordered for a whisky glass and ice cubes for me and was asked 30 baht charge for a whisky glass. I have never heard of such kind of thing in a 5 star hotel earlier. After this we were disappointed and decided to not order in room dining. The second night i asked for cutlery for my food they said it would take 30 minutes to deliver just a plate and bowl as they have too many orders. Never gonna stay their again.

I had a wonderful stay at the Grand Mercure Atrium. The service from the staff was excellent, especially at the lounge during both the evening cocktails and morning breakfast. The food was fantastic and honestly better than many other hotels I’ve stayed at. The only minus is that the hotel itself feels a bit old, but the nice CBD views from the room more than made up for it. Overall, a great experience!

We stayed for 6 nights. Very friendly staff and descent location. Although, walking to MRT or BTS is a bit of a walk. The hotel is dated and the room smelled a little muggy like most of the hotels in Bangkok. The AC worked well and the cleaning staff were outstanding. 4 watwr bottles were provided each day. Breakfast has many items but most of them were catered for Indian palate. We did not like the breakfast at all. Please change the menu! A few Thai dish would have been nice, but it was all Indian food. Overall, it was a bit dissapointing having read this is a 4.5 star hotel. I give this hotel 3 stars.

Staff were very helpful, as a silver Accor loyalty member they gave me access to my complimentary late check-out (until 4pm) so I had chance to make the most of the hotels facilities. Very well equipped gymn and the pool is nice. They had a happy hour which was good and the breakfast was extremely good. Huge variety of items to suit everyone’s needs and the view from the room was amazing!
