First of all, the front desk staff were warm and friendly. In addition to helping deliver my luggage to the room, they also provided me with a few bottles of water, making me feel valued. The check-in process was very quick. Although the hotel’s location is not particularly convenient, the lobby has plenty of sofas for guests to wait for their transportation.
In terms of the bathroom, the water pressure of the shower could be increased slightly, and I hope they can consider replacing it with a handheld option for easier temperature adjustment. Overall, this is a standard accommodation choice.

We stayed at the Grand Baker Bangkok Atrium Hotel, booking an Executive Corner Room with access to the Executive Lounge. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered excellent comfort and great views, which were the highlights of our stay. However, the overall experience fell short of expectations for a 5-star property.
We arrived in the afternoon and were welcomed with snacks, a nice gesture to start our stay. However, we missed out on the cocktail menu and lounge experience on the first day due to our schedule. The next morning, the breakfast served in the Executive Lounge was disappointing, with limited options that didn’t impress. Despite requesting Indian breakfast, we were informed that such options weren’t available, which was a letdown.
The snacks offered throughout the day in the lounge lacked variety, making the overall food experience quite underwhelming. However, the cocktail menu on the second evening was enjoyable, with well-prepared drinks that added a touch of luxury. Unfortunately, the breakfast on the final morning repeated the same limited choices, with no improvement in variety or quality.
While the room itself was luxurious and comfortable, the food quality and service in the Executive Lounge left much to be desired. For a 5-star property, the experience didn’t feel premium enough, especially given the price point. It was an okay stay overall, but not one we would eagerly repeat.

We had a nice stay here but it did not meet our expectation of a 5 star hotel. The lobby entrance is most updated part of the hotel, otherwise the superior room we stayed in seemed more like a 3 star standard for the US and Europe. It was outdated, the shower was old, backed up, and the door didn’t fully close. We were moved to a Luxe room which was an updated room, however the sink backed up, and I would still consider more of a 3-4 star standard. The service was good, including the staff at greeting and reception. There were many choices at breakfast, which were decent in flavor. The pool was cold and looks nicer in the pictures but the lounge area is comfortable. After our experience, I would not consider this hotel a 5 star standard for others considering this hotel.

Room was great. No complaints. This review is mainly about the breakfast buffet. We booked this hotel mainly because we heard that breakfast is good. But we were pretty disappointed. It’s better than at most 3-4 star hotels in Thailand but not 5 star level. Very limited options for vegetarians and people who like healthy food. Small salad buffet. Only 2-3 kinds of fruit. They have a tiny Indian section but it is mainly 1 curry and Indian Chai. We had hoped for more. Gym is open 24h, that was good.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The room was spacious and impeccably clean, offering a comfortable environment throughout my visit. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, catering to different tastes, and everything was fresh and delicious. As a platinum member, I had access to the lounge, which was a great perk with added convenience.
The hotel is also very family-friendly, with plenty of amenities for kids to enjoy. The staff were incredibly polite and attentive, making sure every need was taken care of. Additionally, the location is unbeatable—right in the center of everything, making it easy to explore the city. Highly recommend for both families and business travelers!
