Visited on the first week of december.
The resort itself is a beautiful well equipped and very well thought out place where all the amenities are available.
Room service is great and available 24/7.
Depending on the room you choose it may turn out to be an average or a great experience.
Restaurants try their best to serve different cuisines.
Beach and pool areas are quite entertaining and happening, quiet and peaceful during evening hours. Directions could be a bit improved.
Do bring medicines as it is easy to feel unwell due to weather or food allergies.
Overall you won't be disappointed if you get a good deal.

Catalonia Royal Bávaro is perfect for those looking for comfort and tranquility. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained, and the atmosphere is ideal for relaxation.
We would like to highlight Leonel, Ashly, Gladis, and Robinson, whose friendliness and positive attitude made our experience even more special. Every interaction with them was marked by outstanding professionalism and contagious energy, which made all the difference during our stay.
The only aspect that could be improved is the difficulty in making reservations at the restaurants, but overall, it was a fantastic experience. We highly recommend it and hope to return!

This was our first time in Punta Cana. We were a party of 3 in 2 separate "Privileged Junior Suites". The resort is beautiful, very "Instagram worthy" but that's pretty much it. The service was below average, expect to ask for something 3-5 times before you get it. The female servers and housekeepers are friendly and usually the ones to get things right/done. Most of the male employees were aggressive, rude, and condescending. The beach was nice but what ruined it was the people trying to sell you something. It was every 2-3 minutes and they were relentless. I wish they weren't around so I could've enjoy the beach more. BEWARE of the food safety, it's super unhygienic. If you have ANY food allergies or dietary restrictions, DO NOT COME HERE, the cross contamination of foods is prevalent. We got super sick on our second night here and we had to be very vigilant of anything we consumed (that's not relaxing). The highlight of the place were the stray animals, they're were so cute and very well behaved. All in all, come at your own risk. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone I care about.

Rosemary is one of the best stuff in the restaurant. Also other stuff and the food and service was excellent. Try it.
