First off, the website says the Kids Zone is for ages 3 and up and it is NOT. Don't make the same mistake as me, we booked this specifically for the kids and we were very disappointed. Very disorganized, people entering your room at random times without knocking. Some people were assigned a room that someone else was already staying in. Looks a bit run down but it's not bad. The food is not great. Don't have high hopes there. All the restaurants that you need to book for we're nearly fully booked all week and it wasn't even peak time. One bar tender per bar, you have to wait forever to get a drink.
Housekeeper left two water bottles filled with cleaning solution UNLABELED and I took a sip of one thinking it was mine. Super gross. The sheets smell bad. Not comfortable beds and pillows. Pillows with no pillowcases.
Would not recommend if you have a young family

We stayed at this hotel for a few nights in August. Sadly we had to leave due to the hotel not having hot water. There was little communication from the hotel about the issue, resulting in us requesting a transfer.
Beautiful grounds-palm trees, beautiful plants and luscious green plants.
People are friendly-limited English, but you find your way.
Our room was large and really lovely. The shower was huge!
Good entertainment, lots of energy and something for everybody.
Food was OK, limited buffet, but everyone will find something they like. Pizza was top notch.
Cons
Some areas in need of restoration.
Better communication when things are not right-such as no hot water across the resort.
Buffet restaurant can be a tad stressful with people trying to get to food, also so hot in there. We were premium and preferred to eat in the premium area for breakfast, fewer people and a little cooler.
Booking restaurants was a mission-even our butler couldn't manage it! We ate in the Mexican, was not great. Hot in there and food not good.
We enjoyed eating at the grill for breakfast, mainly as you could see the sea.
Lobby bar at night-good fun, full of energy, but extremely busy.
Overall I had a lovely time at Impressive. Would I return? No sadly. We were moved to a hotel that was better in terms of service and food, and so it highlighted what Impressive was lacking. That said I can tell Impressive want to up their game and hope things will improve year on year.

We just got home from our vacation. The resorts main pool is run down, tile is falling off and a pool light was hanging in the pool with wires exposed. I upgraded to the premium package thank god! Room are clean house keeping is awesome butler was awesome. Food is terrible we were sick for days. Everyone we spoke to was also sick! Horrible cramping. A entire volleyball team was sick and multiple people on the premium side! Buffet food very plain and undercooked. Sometimes you would finish your food with out getting your drink. The grounds is beautiful, premium beach sucks very rocky can’t walk out in the water. Bartenders and servers are awesome.

Really nice complex,but does need some maintenance. For example the pools are need of a re paint.
Lovely restaurants,but limited choice in some of the menus. I'm addition other than the buffets,you need to book meals in advance. Premier customers are allocated a ' butler ', however,ours, unfortunately put minimal effort in and did not book restaurants as requested.
Staff on the whole are really friendly and helpful.
Nice bars,but again limited and in busy times, minimal bar staff.
Rooms are spacious and thanks to the amazing cleaning team are kept spotless.

Just checked into impressive Punta Cana Ocean View room. What part of the ocean do you see? We paid extra for this!
Pablo at the front desk really came through! Check out the view from our new room! We now have an awesome ocean view! The tropical grounds are gorgeous with flowers and well maintained. But that isn't the best part. Robinson in the main buffet took us under his care and made us feel very special. He was not only our waiter but became our friend. That encapsulated the attitude of just about every one of the workers, including Andreia, and Henry. They were very friendly and always there offering assistance when needed. We even had one of the activities people explain sea grapes to us and picked a few for us to sample.
All in all, if you are questioning whether you should come here, hesitate no longer! If you want to be treated special or like family, this is the place book. Impressive is certainly a 5/5 in not only beauty, but hospitality with a smile! Come, let's play!
