Desert Rose is truly an amazing place! Everything about this resort is just perfect. The beautiful surroundings, the friendly atmosphere, and the incredible service. The staff are kind, respectful, and always ready to help, making sure every guest feels comfortable and well taken care of. The whole resort is well-maintained and beautifully designed, and you can tell they really care about their guests. It’s easily one of the most wonderful places in Hurghada, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable holiday.

The room was fine—quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and new, which I appreciated. The housekeeping staff provided good service, ensuring everything was tidy and well-maintained during my stay.
Now, let’s talk about the dining experience at The Palm restaurant, where I had breakfast and dinner over my 2-night, 3-day stay. Unfortunately, the first day was quite disappointing. The staff at the pasta station seemed disinterested in taking orders, which was frustrating. Overall, the service felt lackluster, and I left feeling unwelcome. For some food station, it felt like everyone’s treatment varied depending on their race. My family had a similar experience while getting food and shared the same uncomfortable feelings.
However, my meals on the following days were better, with no unfair treatment, though the service remained average. the overall service made me hesitant to return to the restaurant.
On a brighter note, the resort offers three large swimming pools, which looked inviting, even though I didn’t swim due to the cold season. They provide a calming atmosphere just to relax by. We also enjoyed a show at the theater called The Stage at 9 PM, which had a great vibe and was a nice way to unwind after dinner.

The hotel overall is very good and relaxing. Except one incident happened when we trying to book a restaurant yesterday. We found out that their app doesn't allow reservation if the phone setting is in Chinese. Only English can show reservation button. I'm not too sure if I should feel racist or not.
And today, there was someone came ask for feedback and I told her this problem. I explained that I felt it was racist but it also might be the app issue. She didn't apologize at all.
So this gave me a feeling that the hotel management is aware of this and design it like this on purpose.
It's a really lovely spot in Hurghada and I did want to come back for more relaxing holiday. But after this incident I may reconsider.
The staffs in bars and restaurants are very nice. But sales people around beach kept shouting "China China" to any Asian people passed by are very disrespectful.

Great hotel, fantastic staff who can’t do enough for you and work tirelessly to ensure you have a great holiday. Fantastic evening entertainment, nice food, would recommend the Mexican we ate there on Christmas Day. Great facilities and lots to do in the day. Our two rooms were a little dated, but location made up for this, right on the beach.
