This wasn’t our first time at Movies and won’t be our last. The rooms are a good value for the amenities and on property perks, and the ones we’ve stayed in were clean and in reasonable condition. This past visit we stayed in 1803 for 5 nights, a preferred location room. It was an easy walk to the bus stop/cafeteria. Our room was a little worn, the floor had some small gouges and the tub/shower was slow to drain and the flow control knob for the tub/shower was rather wobbly. But otherwise it was clean and in good condition. The bed was comfortable and we’re pretty fussy about that. The teens slept on the Murphy bed with no complaints. Housekeeping did a nice job sorting things out the two days we received services. The food court was easy to navigate and had offerings that satisfied all members of our group ages 15-47. We ate Mobile order pizzas poolside on our last night and it was a good experience, though we had to use one of the smaller pools due to the main one undergoing refurbishment.

If you’re looking for a magical Disney experience on your next vacation, then Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort is probably not the place for you.
While the hotel carries the Disney name, it falls short in several key areas. I stayed here during a trip to the U.S., and after spending the past month in various hotels, I can confidently say that this was by far the worst experience.
First, don’t expect even the most basic amenities—like a duvet cover. Yes, you read that right. When we asked for one (you know, like a pillowcase but for a blanket), we were told the hotel simply doesn’t provide them.
The bathroom was another major disappointment. It looks like it hasn’t been updated since the 1980s, and the glass shower door was a constant frustration. It kept sliding open on its own, likely due to a slope in the tub, making for a less-than-private and rather annoying shower experience. To top it off, there were flying insects in the bathroom, adding to the overall discomfort.
For the price, we expected much more. The cost simply doesn’t match the quality, making it feel more like a budget motel with Disney branding rather than a true Disney resort.
That being said, the food court was excellent, offering a great variety of tasty options. But unfortunately, a good meal doesn’t make up for an overall disappointing stay.

Great place for families that need a double bed room. The grounds are immaculate and wide open. The decorations in the different buildings are fun and create a larger than life experience for kids.
The food is good, but the lines run extremely slow.
The staff in the hotels and welcome area are absolutely the best.

This is the first time I stay at a Disney resort. While the room was clean which is to be expected and it’s not a bad distance from the parks- the customer service was not the best. It’s not what you would expect from a “Disney “ resort. Let me explain. When you book the hotel they give you a complimentary entrance to a waterpark on your first stay day. This is great. Except our first day it was 45-55 degrees and we could not go and my daughter was super excited. When I went to the front desk- they didn’t even consider accommodating moving it to another day. I stayed for 4 days and it was getting warmer as the days progressed. Well even after escaping to Grace the manager on Duty at the time- she offered absolutely nothing. Actually encouraged to writing a negative review. “Perhaps they’ll change it in the future”, she replied. Her giving us access to going on a different would have made a world of a difference in our stay in a Disney resort. This will unfortunately be our last stay at one.

The main pool was closed one week before our arrival. The room is tiny but overall nice and clean. I did see a cocroach the second day. We live in the love bugs and room service was limited. The bus is convenient to the parks, but sports and music are closer. The food court is convenient but choices are limited.
