We booked a 2 nights for our 26th anniversary celebration and added a couple of room upgrades to a park-view corner room. When we arrived, the front desk clerk who checked us in confirmed it had a Universal park view. When we got to the room, all we could see was I-4. We contacted guest services, the front desk, and Hilton honors support, and got the major blow off. Manalthana at the front desk just abandoned us. I’ve never had such poor service from a hotel staff. I spent 2 hours trying to resolve it, chatting and calling. Hilton support told me to call the manager in the morning. Nothing would get fixed until the next day. That room was awful and you couldn’t pay me to stay there again. It was musty and the ac didn’t work well. After getting ignored and lied by the about the room I didn’t sleep at all that night. It was the worst ending to all of our 26 anniversaries. We wished we stayed home. The next day, I talked to Liz in the morning. She moved us to the Universal park view room we expected in the first place later that afternoon, and the room had good ac. Day 1 was a 0, Day 2 was a 5, so 2.5 average. Sadly, the horrible guest customer service from the first night will rule the memorable experience. The staff can make or break the guest experience. See pics of non-responsive chat, Day 1 view (not the park view I paid for).

This exquisite property was the chosen destination for one night of our recent excursion. We secured two accommodations: a king-sized room and a double queen-sized room. Upon our early arrival, we were promptly granted access to our double queen room. A dedicated staff member named Carlos assisted us with our luggage, attended to our check-in process, and carried our belongings up the stairs to our room. His attentiveness extended beyond our immediate needs, as he provided us with comprehensive information about the property and offered valuable recommendations. To our delight, our king-sized room was unexpectedly upgraded to a spacious corner suite at no additional cost. The property’s culinary offerings were exceptional, particularly the restaurant and the on-site pool. The breakfast buffet was a culinary delight.

We stayed from 7/27-7/30 and were there for our wedding anniversary and my birthday. I’d give a 5 star overall except our shower was messed up. Either really hot with great water pressure or very cold and low water pressure. I informed my concierge and someone was supposed to go up and look/fix the issue. We were at Epic Universe all day, extremely hot and we’re able to take a relaxing shower at the end of our day. Nothing was ever done about the issue. It was super annoying to stand out of the hot water trying to turn the handle only to have it turn ice cold again. However they have a free shuttle to Universal theme parks and that was super convenient.

Amazing stay with outstanding service – just be cautious with breakfast billing We had a fantastic stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton at the Entrance to Universal Orlando. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location just minutes from the parks. One of the best perks was the complimentary shuttle service to and from Universal and Epic Universe, which made getting around super convenient. The staff truly stood out — excellent customer service from start to finish. Everyone was friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The amenities were top-notch as well, and the warm cookie at check-in is always a nice welcome touch. However, the breakfast buffet was a big disappointment. We were shocked by the final bill — $75 for two people, especially considering the price wasn’t posted anywhere and a tip was automatically included. To make matters worse, even after we specifically asked to pay with a card, they billed it to our room instead, which added to our frustration. For what was offered, the buffet just didn’t feel worth the cost. That said, aside from that one experience, the rest of our stay was absolutely amazing. We’d gladly return — we’ll just plan to grab breakfast elsewhere next time. Still because of all the other amazing things about the stay it deserves 5 stars.

An impressive complex right outside of UNIVERSAL. We attended a Srar Trek convention, had dinner in the American Grill and saw two different rooms. One normal and the other a suite. Everything was fine. Convention was great and rooms had the proper amount of amenities to make a great Trip/Vacation stay. The meal at the grill was good but not exceptional. All our meals were in the "fine" range. Parking is not cheap. Almost $40 for the evening. There's no reason to hit the patrons with a big bill on the way home.
