We stayed at Dreams Onyx for our Wedding week this month. The resort, wonderful. Clean rooms, beach was free of seaweed, food was good. I would recommend the Steak House short rib! The water slides were super fun as well. Manuela was our wedding coordinator and she made our wedding as easy and seamless as possible. My makeup was great at the spa, I did a trial, but didn’t have to tweak much on the day! It absolutely poured rain during our cocktail hour/into our reception. We had chosen to keep it outside on the beach and Manuela and her team were great to dry everything off and work with us so we could continue. Reception food was tasty and the desserts I heard good things about as well! 2blem entertainment did a great job as our DJ service, and WBA studios were very kind to stay a bit longer to capture our first dance as our timing was a bit off due to the rain. We would recommend this resort and having a wedding here.

We just returned from our third stay at Dreams Onyx in Punta Cana – and we keep coming back because we truly love this hotel! The food is absolutely fantastic, especially the Bluewater Grill Steakhouse, which has become one of our favorites. The pools are incredible, whether you’re in Preferred or the regular area – it’s always a dream to relax there. And I have to mention Jenny, who brings us drinks by the pool. She is simply an angel! Honestly, she’s one of the reasons we’ve returned three times already. But not only Jenny – Bermiline from the buffet is also an absolute sweetheart. I could name so many more amazing staff members, but it would go beyond the scope of this review. What makes this place so special is that the staff even recognize us from afar and are genuinely excited when we return – that kind of warmth is priceless. Every stay here feels like a dream, and that’s why we don’t mind traveling all the way from Germany to enjoy it again and again. See you next year, Dreams Onyx – without a doubt! ❤️

We went on a girls trip to Dreams Onyx and had the best time! There were 14 of us, and we all stayed in the Preferred Club rooms. It was incredible. The rooms were spotless, beautifully stocked, and full of little goodies. The pools were clean, spacious, and perfect for relaxing, and the swim-up bar was a total hit. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. They were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Our amazing butler even arranged nightly dinner reservations so our whole group could sit together. The beach was stunning, and the whole experience was unforgettable. I highly recommend it!

I went for my bachelorette party and let me just say Diana was amazing in cleaning and organizing our room every day making sure we had enough towels and everything we needed. Our butler Starling was perfection 10/10 always was there when we needed to book anything and super nice. Can’t forget about Alejandro the bartender from the preferred club pool bar amazing drinks amazing service 10/10. And for your coffee needs don’t forget to check out the bakery in the lobby amazing coffee made by Diosmeris y Valentina.

Where does it end? I left a review 2 days ago, and already have more to add- We went to breathless pool for the afternoon and waited half an hour for a drink at the bar, the barman genuinely didn’t care, all drinks wrong or missing, moping about. When I say we waited half an hour for a drink I don’t mean until we got served this is from WHEN we got served. For dinner we made our way over to the Cullinaria for dinner, we were told there was a wait, not rough time,we were given a buzzer and told to come back when it went off, we were happy to sit at the lobby bar and wait, after 45 minutes our buzzer went off, I turnt it off and went up to the stand. As we waited for assistance it went off again so again I’ve turnt it off. When we were seen by a girl with an extremely rude attitude and we were told it didn’t go off and we were wrong with a very smug look. I would also like to add 3 other tables got seated instantly in this time. We then tried going to 3 other restaurants all fully booked, over an hour wait or ‘breathless guests only’ so we had to go back to the room and eat god awful room service, which included the floating salad. This morning we went for breakfast where we had to get our own cutlery and glasses and even pour our own water, no orange juice, English tea was made with cold water and the coffee just didn’t come? When I kindly asked the gentleman if he could get the coffee he looked at me like I’d asked him to get coffee from the moon, he reluctantly came over poured the leftover coffee from a jug which filled about a quarter of the cup and slapped some creamer in to the top. Another broken toilet roll holder in one of our rooms. I’m starting to learn that there really is no standard of service at this hotel, thankfully we only have 2 nights left, I wonder what else will happen?
