Renovation announcements for Grand Palladium Bávaro Resort & Spa

Due to renovation works in Grand Palladium Bávaro Resort & Spa from April 1st to December 14th, 2025, some facilities will be closed during this period. The facilities that will be renovated during this period are:

  • La Lola restaurant
  • Bamboo restaurant
  • La Catedral restaurant
  • La Adelita Restaurant
  • La Paisana Restaurant
  • Pools and bars located in Grand Palladium Bávaro

Pools and bars located in Grand Palladium Bávaro. In addition, starting March 31th, the Xtra Time service will be temporarily relocated to the Hemingway cocktail bar area until the reopening of Grand Palladium Select Bávaro. Last of all, the Junior Club will be temporarily relocated to the Kids' Club area.

During this period, Grand Palladium Palace Resort, Spa & Casino will continue operating to provide services and offer alternatives to the areas under renovation.

From December 14th, 2025, Grand Palladium Palace Resort, Spa & Casino will offer different services and facilities until now. Grand Palladium Palace Resort, Spa & Casino will continue offering its current facilities and will keep sharing the Grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort & Spa facilities. However, guests staying at Grand Palladium Palace Resort, Spa & Casino, won't be able to access to Grand Palladium Select Bávaro and Family Selection at Grand Palladium Select Bávaro facilities.

The facilities no longer available will be:

  • Lobbies, bars, shops and pools located at Grand Palladium Select Bávaro and Family Selection at Grand Palladium Select Bávaro
  • La Lola Restaurant
  • Bamboo Restaurant
  • La Catedral Restaurant

Have been to this resort twice now. In all honesty I don't think that 5 stars is accurate. However, the amenities were adequate, restaurants had a wide variety of foods, and all staff were absolutely brilliant. My one negative is that the rooms were 'tired' and perhaps needed a revamp. The tea and coffee facilities were very welcomed. I would definitely stay again. Perhaps a little more information about facilities and entertainment would be helpful

The cleaning staff went above and beyond. Jose Luis was the best!!! We felt so cared for everyday. He worked so hard with all the staff to make us feel comfortable and special. I would go back just for the staff. Of course the beach was absolutely wonderful too. The basketball and sports options were amazing for our teenage boys. Edwin checked in with us everyday just to see how we were doing. Great staff! Great facility!

My husband and I spent seven nights eight days here the end of January. We had an absolutely amazing time. The à la carts were wonderful. Don’t forget this resort is three in one so you have all three resorts to play at the Bavaro, the Punta, Cana, and the palace it’s a very large resort, but we never had an issue getting around. We loved riding the little train. The beaches were absolutely exquisite. I don’t think I have one complaint about being here. It was a really good vacation.

I traveled solo to this resort for four nights. The resort is beautiful- very well kept gardens and grounds. The pools were wonderful and the beach amazing. As I was alone I stuck to the buffets which were good, but may get tiring during a 7 week stay. As at most resorts- pool and beach chairs can be challenging to find as people put their towels on them and go elsewhere. There is signage indicating that this wasn’t permitted, but I never saw any staff members removing towels from chairs that obviously not being used. My only other suggestion would be to increase signage for the rooms. Since all of the buildings are the same it made it difficult from time to time to find my room. Overall I had a wonderful stay and would recommend this property. The staff were amazing and so accommodating. Thank you for taking such good care of me!

Beautiful place, lovely and friendly staff. We stayed for a week and enjoyed the weather. Limited options of food if you are vegetarian but can still find something to eat. Did not like the sales pitch that went on for more than 2 hours and was a complete waste of our time. We did not use the pool as we spent most of our time on the beach. Bottled water is available but would suggest to carry your own bottle and fill it with water. We went for a body massage which was relaxing. Do take anti diarrhea medications because at the end of the trip I had a severe case of food poisoning.
