The grounds were beautiful, and the beach was right there. I thought the food selection was plentiful, but not having been to other AI resorts, I can’t compare. The workers were amazingly friendly. The shuttle to the golf course and the reasonable price for golf was a plus. The wifi worked great. A couple of improvement opportunities- our room didn’t get cleaned twice, which was more of an annoyance needing to ask for more towels. The other thing was the insistence on attending this briefing, which I wasn’t able to because of other activities. I feel that it was a lengthy sales pitch for something, but unfortunately departure instructions were shared there, so I missed out on valuable information, which was a bit nerve wracking.

Overall great experience, no complaints. Fit and fun program is really nice, I played tennis, pickle ball and most importantly basketball. Angel from Fit and Fun was really nice and was willing to play ball with me even outside his hours, the staff is really top notch. They’re caring and friendly, if you plan on going and you’re into sports, I really suggest going to see Angel!

We stayed over the Christmas and New Year’s break at Iberostar Punta Cana waves hotel resort. We very much enjoyed the beautiful decor and lush greenery of the grounds, the beautiful beach with lots of chairs and palm umbrellas to provide shade. Lots of restaurants and two or three large buffets to choose from no reservations were required at the restaurant. The food was very good and even my husband who is a vegetarian was very well fed. The staff is very nice and gentle. We very much appreciated. Our concierge Battista, and we thanked our welcoming receptionist who upgraded us to two rooms that interconnected rather than our family suite that we had reserved. overall, it was an excellent stay.

Our stay at this hotel was pleasant, with some great aspects but also a few drawbacks. Positives: • The staff was very friendly and welcoming, making us feel comfortable throughout our stay. • The pool and garden areas were beautifully maintained, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Negatives: • We stayed in a Junior Suite in Building 6, which was very outdated and in need of renovation. However, it was quiet, which we appreciated. • No information was provided at check-in regarding the hotel facilities, which made it difficult to navigate at first. • The quality and taste of the food were noticeably inferior compared to the Iberostar Selection next door. Overall, a nice stay with great service and beautiful surroundings, but improvements in room renovations and food quality would make it even better.

This was an amazing trip! The entire facility was impeccably clean, and the staff were so kind and welcoming. The dancers were amazing, including the guests in so many activities. A friend lost her wallet and all staff took it very seriously and quickly located it. Huge shout out to Chocolate, Baby Black, Adonis, Edwin, Benjamin and so so many others; you made this the most memorable trip ever!
