Beautiful hotel with stunning pools, great bars, and delicious food. The rooms are lovely, though the beds are extremely firm—almost like sleeping on a patio. Most of the staff are friendly and welcoming, though a few could be more engaging. The food is consistently good, and the all-inclusive restaurant is as lively and chaotic as you’d expect.
This was our first stay at this hotel, and we will definitely be returning. However, next time, we’ll be better prepared for the type of guests it attracts, as we encountered a few rather unfriendly individuals.

This hotel is listed as a 5-star property, but in reality, it feels more like a solid 4-star at best.
Pros:
• Stunning lobby with character and charm, offering beautiful ocean views.
• Multiple pools with different themes, including one heated pool (though relatively small).
• Convenient and easy parking.
•. Gentleman at the front desk. I can’t recall his name (tall, shaved head) but he was a superstar. Super efficient staff who deserves promotion.
Neutral:
• The food quality at the main restaurant was inconsistent—one day, they served lobster, while the next, the meat was inedible. However, there are alternative restaurants offering different cuisines. We tried steak house, not satisfied though.
Cons:
• Extremely outdated rooms.
• Maintenance issues: Beyond being outdated, the hotel has clear maintenance problems. A towel hanger in the bathroom was missing, the shower glass was covered in hard water stains and our safe was locked upon arrival. It took three phone calls and a visit to the reception to get it opened—yet the issue wasn’t fully resolved, so we eventually gave up. The main door lock was also broken and non-functional.
• Poor soundproofing: We were given a room with a connecting door and could hear everything—every sneeze, every cough, every word—from the neighboring room.
• Long lines for meals: The main restaurant had long lines for both breakfast and dinner just to get a table. Although the staff is so helpful, it is not very desirable to wait in line for every meal at a 5-star hotel.
I typically stay at chain hotels and this was my first experience with H10. Unfortunately, based on this stay, it won’t be making my shortlist for my next trips.

Nice place, food was poor except the buffet perhaps a variety of different snacks as an option and more work on the restaurants to provide a better quality to this cuisine. Good service friendly staff. Entertainment team were great. Good for families with kids and close to great Restuarants. Thank you for a lovely stay

Animation team (specifically Mini Club) were fantastic. My son (7 years) really enjoyed dipping in and out of the different activities. Also a good range of adults activities. Yoga (including sunset sessions) with Martha were particularly enjoyable. On site dive school (Dawn Dives Academy) also a bonus, my husband enjoyed a variety of dive sites, with professional instructors particularly Rinus. Beautiful gardens plus a great variety of pools. Only negatives were the lack of specifically vegan options in the restaurants and the frustratingly slow WiFi.

I’ve stayed in Lanzarote many times and many different hotels I was disappointed with rubicon palace and would No way consider it a 5 star hotel . The good bits are there is plenty to do for the kids , the kids disco was great and the pools are fun there is also an aviary and other bits to keep kids busy plus a childminding service . The location is nice 20 min walk to flamingo beach 10 min drive to town. The rooms are ok but the entire hotel is pretty dated needs a revamp & I found it a strange colour scheme lots of black walls & woodwork which doesn’t fit with the island imo. I had a Nice big balcony and it’s a peaceful quiet hotel at night. The bad points are mainly down to service and access ,the food imo was 3 star ish at best , the buffet was very boring and I didn’t rate any of food I ate there which was disappointing as I was half board, the service was slow often plates pilled up on our table & I had to ask many times for it to be cleared , I wasn’t offered a drink on seating had to wait and call someone over it seemed very understaffed ,the staff that were there were quite rude & didn’t speak English which is essential imo when 80% of the people there spoke English , if your serving people it’s imperative to be able to communicate clearly. The booking system for the spa or using the a la cart restaurants was terrible , the app didn’t work and reception wouldn’t take a booking , we had to wait for the evening meal reception to ask them then it took 30 mins waiting at the door of the buffet to confirm , very unprofessional. We did eventually book in but On arrival were left standing at the door staff inside facing us doing nothing for around 5 mins not even saying hello or getting someone to seat us. As for the meal We were hugely disappointed and quite angry that we were served a baby’s meal with cheese after explicitly explaining that she was lactose intolerant, ontop of that only 3 of our 4 meals arrived at the table one persons being completely forgotten in an almost empty restaurant! This isn’t a cheap hotel and this is definitely not 5 star service. Another thing that is ridiculous about the hotel is the access. If you have walking issues or a disability forget it! Only one of the main lifts worked and was extremely slow often with ques of people waiting this is not on for a 5 star hotel! The hotel is huge and only has one entrance at the main reception and one at the rear onto the promenade, it desperately needs access at either end of the hotel for guests , the rooms are very far away from the main entrance and it’s mind blowing to me that there isn’t entry at either end where the car parks are! You literally have to park the far end of the car park walk all the way to the front of the hotel then back to where you started to get to your room! I wouldn’t stay here again and unfortunately can’t recommend it to any of the many people I know who frequently visit the island.
