It was a great place to spend the holidays. Pros-Very clean rooms and very good cleaning by the cleaning ladies.Very quiet resort sometimes even too quiet :). The spa was incredible and the staff there went way over and above. The staff in the entire resort was top class. Cons- the food was 3 stars but a big variety. It was inconsistent in quality. One day the eggs were ok the next not edible. After 21:00 the resort looked dead everything closed no entertainment and the entertainment that was there was at the best 2star. But all in all we give our stay a 4 star and enjoyed very much. I big shout out to the wonderful staff keeping the place running.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The food and drinks were delicious. The entertainment team were very talented. We locked the app, it made things easier for us as people who like to plan what we’re doing and where we eat etc. It was very handy you could request additional things, we forgot our toothbrushes and was able to request these on the app and these were delivered to our room ready for us to use. It is a quiet hotel, entertainment finishes at 10.30pm and all bars close at midnight. There is not dancing type of entertainment, but watching shows in the chilled out piano bar. A few pointers to improve would be more service of drinks around the pool during the day as this service was slow. Also there were no food options after 10pm which after drinking cocktails and enjoying the entertainment, all I wanted was a snack but there was nothing on the resort. Other all inclusive we have stayed at have had a late night food option. Overall the stay was fantastic, the staff were friendly and it felt well staffed overall. Good location, a short 15 minute walk to the town centre and harbour where there are a range of restaurants bars and shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shops. We went to the Secrets Lanzarote Resort & Spa in July with our sister and brother in law. What a great holiday, thank you so much to the whole team. The food here is exceptional and the drinks are premium for everyone. We went all inclusive and would recommend that as a board basis because the nearest town is a 10min walk away and its not always convenient to pop out for food. The Marina is worth the walk. Its very pretty, with nice restaurants and shops, and there's a market every week that is worth a look. Taxis are reasonable if you want to go to any of the towns or to explore the vineyard, or volcanic landscape. We were told the bus service was a bit erratic so, as this was our first trip to Lanzarote, we didn't use the bus this time. The sea views are wonderful from the hotel, but the only near by access to the sea is a short walk away, over a pebbly beach. You will need beach shoes. There is easier access for snorkelling a 5 minute walk towards the marina, down some steps. The weather was hot! It was also windy, as to be expected in June/July. We had a sand/dust storm roll in late one afternoon. It covered absolutely everything in a fine layer of sand. The staff were like worker bees moving the outdoors indoors for the evening, and not a trace of the storm was to be seen next morning. It was a herculean achievement by a very organised and dedicated staff, who would have had to work especially hard that night to get the hotel's pristine appearance back up to standard. We were in awe of you! The beds are really comfortable and the rooms immaculate, as is the rest of the hotel. We couldn't fault the hotel, food or staff - a special thank you to Danny at the cocktail/sushi bar. The specialist restaurants are excellent, but the food in the dinning hall is so good we also chose to eat there. All in all we couldn't fault Secrets and I would consider our tribe to be well travelled and a bit picky. We are now looking forward to returning in December :-) Thank you.

My partner and I booked a 5-day escape to Secrets Lanzarote, seeking a truly quiet and relaxing retreat, and in that respect, it absolutely delivered. The hotel's commitment to tranquility is on another level. ​Let's start with the undisputed highlight: the service. It is genuinely 5-star, and the staff are the hotel's greatest asset. A special shout-out must go to the wonderful Konte, who checked us in at 11 pm with the kind of warm, seamless welcome that instantly washes away any travel stress. From the ever-chatty concierge to the bar staff, everyone was exceptional. ​We opted for half-board, which felt like the smart move. The additional cost for all-inclusive seemed steep, and it gave us the perfect excuse to explore the lovely restaurants in the nearby port. The buffet food at the hotel is... functional. It’s a masterclass in filling your stomach without troubling your taste buds. Whether you go for the Italian, Mexican, or Asian night, it all shares a familiar, comforting... sameness. You won't go hungry, but you won't be writing poetry about the paella either. ​Now, for the quirks. The hotel is so dedicated to peace that we spotted a sign by the pool discouraging, shall we say, 'energetic aquatic activities'. We weren't planning on training for the Olympics, but a sign forbidding 'swimming' in a swimming pool did give us a chuckle. And for the smokers, welcome to your surprise health retreat! The hotel is thoroughly non-smoking, with the only designated areas being a couple of scenic spots right next to the bins. A subtle hint, perhaps? To top it off, the vibe around the pools is very muted, with little to no ambient music, so bring your headphones if you need a soundtrack to your sunbathing. ​Speaking of sunbathing, a word on the sunbeds. Pro tip: join the 7 am towel-dash if you want an umbrella, as it's the only competitive sport the hotel seems to allow. Also, aim for the fabric loungers; the leather-effect ones are sun-traps that will try to fuse with your skin on a molecular level. Good luck. ​For those excited about the local feline residents, be warned: they are a discerning bunch. They can smell a half-board guest from a mile away and will treat you with magnificent disdain... unless, of course, you come bearing gifts. They’re not unfriendly, just highly transactional. ​Evening entertainment was a rotation of talented live musicians who all seemed to have graduated from the same school of 'pleasant background melodies'. It’s nice, but don't expect any conga lines or audience participation. ​Overall: If you want to disconnect from the world, read ten books in five days, and be treated like royalty by incredible staff, this is your nirvana. If you’re looking for a bit of buzz, interactive fun, or a lively atmosphere, you might find the silence deafening. A fantastic hotel for the right kind of holiday.

Overall a great experience for a weeks relaxing holiday in the sun. Excellent facilities and restaurants at the hotel and only a 15 minute walk down to the marina where there is a great selection of other bars and restaurants. Service was very good, efficient and friendly. Spa was well worth a visit. The hotel even looks after about 10 cats so that is a positive for any cat fans. There were 2 issues that made this only a 4 star. 1) Given this is marketed as an adults only hotel, geared towards couples, the rooms had twin beds pushed together. I know this is common in Europe but really did not make any sense at this hotel. 2) The pools had no heating at all which meant they were incredibly cold and as a result they were hardly used by anyone. They could do with adding just a small amount of heat to make them still refreshing but comfortable to use.
