I would rate Hilton Buena Vista Palace as average. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which was definitely a positive aspect of our stay. However, there were several operational and training issues that stood out. The room had multiple problems that weren’t checked before our arrival, such as non-working outlets, lamps, a tub drain that wouldn’t seal, and a dead battery in the door lock. These oversights were disappointing. The common areas also needed more attention, with food items and trash left in the hallways. The pool area wasn’t monitored or cleaned regularly, which made it less inviting. Additionally, communication around shuttle times, resort amenities, and other details was lacking, which caused some confusion. As Hilton Gold members, we expected a bit more attention to detail, but the experience didn’t meet those expectations. The shuttle to Disney and the resort was convenient, which was a nice perk. While the hotel may be a budget-friendly option for some, it’s not one we would choose again in the future. Overall, the staff was great, but the maintenance and communication issues made it less than ideal for us.

We were there as part of a HGV presentation package. We had a room in the Island Tower. It is dated to say the least. Upon walking into the Island Tower, we felt like were were walking into a hospital/hospice/nursing home. Even the smell reminded us of a hospital. Our room was nothing special and lacked any type of character. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, they felt like cardboard. The pillows were dense and it felt like sleeping on a hard lump. The room door didn't seal well enough to block out light or sound. The few times I did fall asleep, I was woken up by noise from the atrium. When we went to take showers, it took forever for the hot water to flow. The tower is also quite a walk from the main tower and the parking lot (but at least its covered). The only reason I gave this two stars instead of one is because the pool area was great. It warmed enough on one day for us to enjoy it. The lazy river was nice and the water was reasonably warm. The hot tub is also larger than most hotel hot tubs which was good, because it was busy. The close proximity to Disney Springs is nice as well. Aside from that, we didn't enjoy, borderline hated our stay there. We actually ended up checking out a day early because we didn't like the prospect of spending one more night there if we didn't have to. As an Honors Gold member, I can say that this was by far the worst stay we've ever had at any Hilton Property.

Our stay at the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Hotel near Disney Springs was absolutely wonderful. The hotel offers spacious and very comfortable rooms, perfect for relaxing after a long day. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options to cater to all tastes, and the restaurant itself is beautifully designed, providing a delightful dining experience. The staff were incredibly attentive and polite, always ensuring that every detail of our stay was perfect. This hotel truly lives up to the high standards of the Hilton brand, exceeding expectations for both business travelers and, especially, families looking to enjoy a magical Disney vacation. It’s the perfect place to stay for anyone visiting Disney Springs or the surrounding attractions. Highly recommended!

I stayed at this hotel in 2023 and had a wonderful time. So when I made plans for a trip to Disney again, I booked a stay at this location again. Unfortunately, it was not as great. The rooms are spacious, and that’s one of the things I like about this location. But we found brown smudges on the sheets/blankets. There were also these weird smudges on the chair in the room. When someone came to clean the room, one bed was made and the other was not. The towels that we had hanging up to reuse were taken and we had to request for new ones to use. The bottles of soap in the shower were not filled, so we had to ask for soap. The do-not-disturb sign was missing. I found tiny little bugs all over the place. The tub did not drain properly. Paint was peeling in the bathroom, and it looked like a crappy patch up job. The staff were friendly enough. But when I had to request for items at the front desk, I would have to go back a second time and ask because nothing came to the room. The pool and pool area are nice. That area was clean and seemed well maintained. My family enjoyed the infinity pool the most. The little shoppette downstairs is nice and convenient. We were able to get breakfast there before heading to the bus to go to the parks. The location of this hotel is great. It’s right across from Disney Springs, so you can go eat and shop over there. And the bus ride to and from the Disney parks is not that long at all.

Hotels have one main goal - to let you sleep comfortably. The noise was horrible. Do not accept ANY room near the main lobby and bar. Trust me. When people finally leave and it seems that things are going to quiet down, that’s not the end of it. Between 1-3 am they will start cleaning the floors and dumping garbages. I’m a heavy sleeper but this was just way too loud. And it happened all 3 nights I was there. Everyone checking in to this hotel should be warned and given multiple pairs of complementary earplugs. It didn’t help that there was a 2” gap at the bottom of the door. I had to stuff pillows in it. Bathroom lights also flickered like a horror movie. The redeeming quality is the proximity to Disney Springs. Their restaurant was also good for breakfast. I had no problems with staff or service except one night around 2am when I tried to find someone at the desk to talk to about the noise and it was unmanned.
