I frequently stay at Hampton Inns when I travel for business and they almost always meet or exceed my expectations so when I received a call from Hilton Grand Vacations offering a promotion for Hilton Honors members, I decided to accept their offer of $199 for 3 nights at a
Hilton “resort” (supposedly a $799 value) in exchange for attending a 90 minute presentation and the vacation dates were later booked. Upon arrival, I quickly realized that this was not a Hilton resort, but rather a standard hotel. I always choose my room ahead of time on my app, and this time I choose a
corner room on the 10th floor, facing away from the interstate. Even though I arrived later than I had indicated on the app, I was told that my room was not ready and the front desk assigned a different room. According to their app, the “king” room they assigned was supposed to be 312
sq ft. However, I measured the room at 286 sq ft and the bed was only 66” wide—not a king. In addition to the tiny size of the room, there were other issues: there were potato chips on the floor in front of the bed, hair on the bathroom floor, no balcony (only a window looking out onto
rooftops and the interstate), flat pillows, a mattress that was hard as a rock, and most curiously, there were two doors going to other people’s rooms on the opposite sides of the room. In all my travels, I have never seen a double lock-off. Also, there was no microwave and
the mini fridge was so tiny, it would not even hold one takeout tray of food so we had to throw away leftovers. In the bathroom, there was nothing to lay items on—no towel racks, shelves,
etc.
Shortly after check-in, I received a text message from the hotel asking if everything was ok. I let them know my disappointment with the accommodations and their response was, “please let us know if we can be of further assistance”.
The next morning shortly after 8 am, I started making phone calls to complain about the accommodations—mostly the bait and switch of promising a room at a resort but putting us in a tiny hotel room instead. After being passed around on the phone and speaking with three different people, no solution was offered so I looked for alternate accommodations on my own and found that Club Wyndham at Bonnet Creek had a one bedroom deluxe available. I quickly booked it and checked out of this Hilton.
If you are visiting the Orlando area and looking for accommodations there are better options.

Location is convenient and the employees are courteous. But the rooms are HORRIBLE. Several outlets were not working, the fridge was not cool, the bed is extremely firm, and the pillows were very thin. The bathroom was also very small, hard to maneuver around the toilet and door placement was awkward. Despite the convenient location, I would not be staying here again.

My wife and I have stayed at this property countless times. We continue to return because of its location, Disney park amenities, and pricing. Unfortunately, the property has seen better days. Almost every room we stay in has some sort of issue - whether it be poor heating/cooling, heating bathroom fixture issues, a terrible mattress, or general deterioration from years of abuse. Our most recent stay was in an accessible room where the water from the shower leaked all over and the heater hardly worked. We would gladly pay more for this property if it were renovated. We’ll continue to return due to its proximity to Disney Springs and the transportation to parks.

My experience as a Hilton Diamond member was outstanding, largely thanks to Jenna at the front desk. Her exceptional customer service and friendly demeanor made a lasting impression that will definitely bring me back. The hotel's location is perfect for Disney parks (great for annual pass holders like us), and offers extensive amenities. 5/5 stars!

Pros:
staff is great. Very helpful and kind.
Great location and easy access to Disney Springs.
Hotel was clean
Cons: (and these are small things but with the price tag I feel like the hotel could do better with these things)
Toilet paper was the worst. It was very rough. I feel like they could provide than the cheapest toilet paper on the market.
The dresser in my room drawers would not stay closed. And it wasn't just one, it was all of them. Which drive me crazy.
The shower head would not stay in place. Would fall no matter what you did. So showering was a pain.
Again these are minor issues but I feel these are thing the hotel should be able to easily address for the price that you pay to stay.
