As Platinum Elite members, We’ve stayed ant the Intercontinental , the Kimpton, and the holiday Inn. Although the first two hotels are top Tier, my daughter and I had the most interactive family fun and entertainment at the Holiday inn! Not only is it close to a night market, there are fun activities all the time and the kids clubs is the best by far! The staff was amazing and gorgeous as well. I highly recommend staying here if you have a family with young children. It’s a healthy mix with a great childcare program:) kapkunkrub! 🙏🏽 Huge thanks to Fern who was absolutely amazing with helping us throughout our stay! And her lovely Freind who aided us as well! Super nice

Not Worth the Money – Disappointing Experience I do not recommend this hotel at all. It is extremely overpriced for what it offers. The pool area is noisy and completely lacks the relaxing atmosphere you'd expect from a Thai resort. The overall vibe is far from what you come to Thailand for. The breakfast is very basic and honestly disappointing — not at all what you'd expect from a hotel in this price range. What really ruined the experience for me was the way I was treated by one of the managers. He spoke to me in an incredibly rude and disrespectful manner, showing no intention to listen or help. It felt like he was just mocking me. You can easily find far better hotels in the area for half the price. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had on a vacation. Avoid this hotel if you want to enjoy your stay in Thailand.

Holiday Inn Bophut in Koh Samui is a fantastic choice, especially for families. The architecture is warm and welcoming, with an open design that makes the space feel inviting and relaxed. The color scheme adds to the cozy yet stylish atmosphere, making it a pleasant place to unwind. For families with kids, the soft play area is a great size, offering plenty to keep little ones entertained. The splash park, though small, is fun and engaging, though a bit more seating for parents would be a welcome addition. The main dining area, Essence, is spacious and well-laid-out, making it easy to supervise kids while they explore the self-service options. The pool area is a bit narrow, but the unbeatable beachfront location more than makes up for it. With direct access to the beach and just a short stroll to Fisherman’s Village, you’re perfectly placed to enjoy the best of Koh Samui. One of the standout aspects of this hotel is the rooms—beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable beds, and a lovely balcony to relax on. Nearly perfect in every way! If you’re looking for a well-located, family-friendly stay in Samui, this hotel is an excellent choice.

We had the most amazing stay at the Holiday inn. We came with two very young children and enjoyed absolutely spectacular facilities for the kids. Beautiful Jamboree, kids water park! and amazing external park. Put 3 stars on location because we found that the there is less what to do relative to the Chaweng area. But for kids we could stay in the hotel with days without leaving it. Thank you Holiday inn!

We absolutely loved this resort. We were traveling with young kids and their setup for kids is amazing. They have a very nice playground, an indoor kids club (huge shoutout to the helpful staff) and a splash pad which kept the kids busy. Their kids eat free program and the 20% discount for IHG members also means eating at the resort is quite economical. Only negatives on our end were the very small beds and the beach was quite grainy (not exactly something the resort can control). My recommendation would be that if you have kids and don't need a phenomenal beach then this place will be great for you.
