We stayed here for New Years and were very impressed. I was scared after reading many negative reviews about noise and construction, but we heard or saw none. They are building a Dreams resort next door but any workers I saw were quiet. The rooftop pool was amazing, we went up every night for an absolute gorgeous sunset. The main pool had fun games, we had a blast playing trivia, the water was great.
I was nervous when we got there because we got in at 7pm, so we couldn’t book dinner and they said we could try to get on a waitlist. So I was worried if we couldn’t do we just not get to eat? But luckily someone got us so we didn’t find out. Italian was good, Mexican was amazing, French was also great. My husband did get food poisoning from what we think was the room service food, so he was very sick for 24 hours which sucked. The shuttle to the beach club was quick and always available. The beach itself was breathtaking, many seats and 2 pools and a good restaurant. Overall, for the price we had an incredible time. I would suggest more food options for dinner in case you don’t get a reservation you can still be guaranteed a way to eat. Would love to come back especially when the Dreams resort next door is open.

We had an unforgettable stay at the Hyatt Grand Vivid, where exceptional service and outstanding food made all the difference. Joel, the Beach Club concierge, was fantastic—going above and beyond to make our time by the water perfect. Daniel, our Beach Club server, was so attentive, anticipating our needs even before we asked for anything.
The food throughout the resort was incredible, with fresh, flavorful dishes that always impressed. We also loved the activities led by Lucia and Sofia, who hosted fun and creative macrame and bracelet-making classes. Their warmth and expertise made each session enjoyable. Andrew and Guillermo at the Vantage Club rooftop pool were also wonderful.
The staff truly made our stay special , and I highly recommend the Hyatt Grand Vivid for a luxurious and memorable experience.

I have to admit that stay at this hotel few days ago was amazing - so many interesting and great entertainments! Especially I enjoyed drawing with wine which was amazing !! And also active sports like fitness jumping was so powerful thanks to the one and only delightful man who was our trainer this day (unfortunately i cant remember his name). His positivity and power was invaluable. He made my day!
And also all bartenders at vantage club were amazing - most of the drinks were so tasty and looked unique! But the best for us was one and only bartender (I cant remember his name) who prepared drinks at his portable station - every day he made a different drink and each one was the best I have ever drank! It was like art - drinks were set on fire, with a hint of fragrance and other additions. He was making a show! And the most important thing for us was that he was so kind!
Big heart as another special man - waiter on swimming pool - i Think his name was Ricardo. He was so kind for us and talked with us a little - thanks to him we have the best time and our day was better! Thank you so much - the best people in Mexico for sure 🤍

I’ve stayed at a handful of all-inclusive and they’ve all been okay. But Hyatt Vivid Grand Island has really taken it up a notch! Three different pools (rooftop, main & beach club) Rooftop was a very relaxed atmosphere, Main pool was where all the activities were held, and great music playing throughout the day, beach club pool was amazing! We splurged on the beach club and purchased a $150 day bed and that really made our day even better (highly recommend)! Staff was absolutely amazing! And the food was GREAT! We LOVED the Mexican restaurant- the fish tacos were all our favorite along with the fresh guacamole, this is more authentic than maybe people are use to so I can see why someone might not like it. The Italian, Japanese & Mediterranean were amazing! Each place was fresh and original - I’ve never had to google so many words to see what dish they were serving. I’ve always said all inclusive food is just “elevated cafeteria food”, but not this place! It has really found a way to stand out in the food category! We very much enjoyed our stay, from the staff, to the activities - there’s so much to do! Can’t wait to visit again! Thank you for a great week!

The staff was definitely the highlight of our trip. Everyone was so kind and helpful! As soon as we arrived they welcomed us with drinks. Jeremy helped us with our bags and helped us get taxis throughout our stay.
Our room was clean and very specious. The cleaning crew did an amazing job throughout our 7 day stay. Our room was always clean.
The staff at the restaurants were always friendly and welcoming. The crew at the bars were also super friendly and helpful. Specially Gustavo. He made sure we had a great time at the pool bringing us drinks and checking on us often.
