As I had a long weekend due to Labor Day in USA, I plan to spend the vacation at the Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya, I knew that I had chosen the right place for a truly memorable vacation (and this is was my 3rd stay this year). The resort is perfectly located, offering a blend of natural tropical and beach surroundings, that makes it a place to find disconnection and relax. The Hotel infrastructure is outstanding—everything in the common and the restaurants feels new, modern, and thoughtfully designed. From the spacious rooms and stunning pool to the beautifully maintained common areas, every detail reflects quality and comfort. It’s clear that the resort was built with guests’ experience in mind. All my dinning highlight of my stay (from the breakfast buffet, the lunch in front the beach and all dinning offerings (specially the Tempest options). Every meal was exceptional, with fresh, high-quality ingredients and a wide variety of options to suit every taste. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the food consistently exceeded our expectations, and the presentation and flavors were always on point. What truly sets Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya apart is the PEOPLE. The staff went above and beyond in every interaction—welcoming, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our stay unforgettable. They didn’t just provide service; they created an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality that made us feel truly valued as guests. This combination of stunning location, world-class facilities, exceptional food, and an incredible team made our vacation everything we hoped for and more. Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya doesn’t just deliver a stay—it creates an experience you’ll carry with you long after you leave. I can’t wait to return for my 4th stay this year (that will be on New Year eve)!

Wife and I recently stayed at this resort and was blown away by the experience from start to finish. The rooms were absolutely stunning—spacious, beautifully designed, and the shower was next-level incredible. You can tell they paid attention to every detail when it came to comfort and luxury. The grounds were meticulously maintained and just gorgeous. Even though the resort was at 80% capacity during our stay, it never felt crowded. There was always a sense of peace and space, which made it incredibly relaxing. Now let’s talk about the food—out of this world! Every meal we had was exceptional, with a wide variety of delicious options that were clearly prepared with care and creativity. And the best part? We never had to wait for drinks. The staff was attentive and friendly, always making sure our glasses were full. This resort truly sets the bar high. Can’t wait to return!

Everything was perfect, everybody at this hotel is greeting you with a smile, being helpful, assisting you, can't complain of anything and do thank and appreciate everything here. Special mention to Viviana from the pool bar, Irvin and Ricardo from the tempest restaurant, what an excellent treatment all they gave me, I enjoyed so much my time here. If you are planning going to Riviera Maya this summer, do make your reservation at Zilara, you will enjoy so much everything here, the pool is not too bic but with enough space so you can enjoy and relax, the beach is beautiful, I'm sure during the season where there is no sargasum it must be amazing. The rooms have incredible view, the food at all the restaurants is amazing, the drinks at the bars are excellent, I can assure that you will have a great time here.

Hello, first time staying at a Hyatt resort. All was well and the food was edible for the most part. Drinks were decent and got the job done. The only issue I ran into was that we were being ate alone while we were sleeping. Initially we thought it was possible mosquitoes the first few nights but we started to experience a few bits all over our bodies. I did reach out to the front desk Concierge and the issue was handled appropriately and we did a room inspection with the management team. We did initial believe it was bed bugs but nothing was found. Our room was changed even though this was our last night at the resort. The next room we did get in was the same exact room we paid for a few doors down and once we got in the room we noticed insects crawling on the bed so my fiancé immediately reached back out to the manager team to seek additional help. This particular time we moved rooms again and to our surprise we was offered an upgraded room at no additional cost or request for the upgrade. We literally only showered and slept in the room for the night because we had no other choice and we were leaving the next day. We did party a little on our last night and to our surprise when we got back to the room roughly 12:05am in the morning and we were tried and did not have the energy to fight about it any longer. There was indeed another bug crawling on the bed that I have video and time stamp for. No we did not report it the next morning because as stated the night prior the upgrade room was the most we could receive. We did not request the upgraded room we giving the upgraded room. I did reach out to the corporate office the next day once I got home and all that I was offered for my inconvenience was 10,000 world Hyatt points that does not even equate to one night stay at any Hyatt hotel or resort. I didn’t even request for a full refund I only requested for a refund of one night and is being told this is not a option and this is my only option. I will never be staying at another Hyatt resort or Hyatt in the future if this is how that handle guests who have video evidence and pictures of the issues and constantly being told this is per the manger Andres and Gustavo “While we acknowledge your discomfort, it’s important to note that due to our tropical location, occasional encounters with local wildlife or insects can occur, even with stringent preventive measures in place. These natural elements are part of the environment and, unfortunately, beyond our full control.” Which I understand completely but why are we dealing with insects that don’t fly on our bedding and dealing with being bite up in our sleep. DONT STAY AT THIS RESORT PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE !!!!

My fiancé and I booked a seven day stay at Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya and had a blast! Right off the bat, we loved how the concierge and bell hop team assisted us with getting our bags out of the car and offering us complimentary champagne while we waited to be checked in. Since our room wasn't ready yet, we walked over to one of the dining areas to grab lunch. We immediately noticed the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff (and other vacationers). Our room was refreshed with linens/towels every morning, which was an amazing touch! Overall, we enjoyed how chill/relaxing the resort was, but that events were going on throughout the day and night. We would highly recommend booking this experience! A huge shoutout to these staff members that made our stay memorable: - Renata and Fernanda: our personal room attendants/butlers who assisted with our every need - Julio: who always checked in to see if we needed anything - Jaziel: who gave me an amazing facial - Polo and Alexis who greeted us every morning with a friendly smile
