This resort is so great! Rooms are beautiful. Staff is so nice. Food was great! Bartenders perfect. Location is awesome basically feels like you’re in the jungle you’ll see wildlife!
Also, Arturo who is an activities director, was SO much fun! Super cool activities. He truly made the experience perfect!

Went to Hyatt Zilara for what was supposed to be an economical well needed rest. Upon arrival we waited 45 minutes to get checked in. While we waited we got the hard pressed sales pitch to sign up for the Hyatt club. I didn’t go there to get a sales pitch. The individual badgered my wife the whole week.
Other than that the entire staff was very friendly and accommodating. Always smiling and greeting everyone. Service at the pool and beach was great.
Night time entertainment was very good.
The facility itself was a little tired. A lot of cracks and in need of painting. Very limited seating at the pool and beach. Had to get up very early to secure a spot. Unfortunately there are those types of people who take up chairs and never show up.

We recently stayed at the Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya, and the exceptional service provided by the staff truly made our trip unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, everyone made us feel warmly welcomed and attended to. Two people in particular really stood out: Ivan, our server, and Nelson, our bartender.
Ivan was incredibly attentive and seemed to anticipate our needs before we even asked. He made each meal an enjoyable experience, remembering our preferences and going out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. His kindness and dedication to making guests feel valued made a huge impression on us.
Nelson, the bartender, added a fun and personal touch to our afternoons. His cocktails were not only delicious but crafted with skill and care. He was always ready with a recommendation and took the time to make sure we were having a great experience. His friendly personality and enthusiasm made every visit to the bar a highlight of our stay.
Thanks to Ivan, Nelson, and the rest of the wonderful staff at Hyatt Zilara, we felt completely pampered and genuinely cared for throughout our stay. We highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a memorable and relaxing getaway with outstanding service.

My wife and our 2 adult kids stayed here over Christmas. The hotel staff are fantastic, Julio and Bianca at the pool bar get special mentions as the service they provided was second to none.
Only issue we had was we were on the 5th floor and the elevator didn’t work the whole trip. We knew it and could have changed rooms but we didn’t.
We definitely got our steps in and it would have been a touch more enjoyable if it had worked.

This is a nice place to go relax and have direct access to the ocean. Rooms are beautiful, staff are friendly and hard working. Not a party resort.
Food was not great. We were surprised to find limited Mexican food options. Breakfast was the most delicious. Lunch/dinner felt a bit random and quality wasn’t great. It kind of felt like catered food you’d expect to see at conferences.
One thing we really did not appreciate was the experience with the sales people. You are pretty much led directly to them upon arrival at the airport and then again at check-in. We were offered all these perks but they don’t make it clear that you can only take advantage of the perks if you agree to attend what is ultimately a 90mins sales pitch during which they take you to a different resort for breakfast and showcase the amenities and try to lure you into a membership. The perks all go away if you don’t want to participate.
The resort tries to provide entertainment during day and night - they are pretty lowkey.
