I stayed at Couples Swept Away resort for three days with my family and had a fantastic time overall. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed, making it easy to relax and enjoy the stay. The food was great, and the variety of activities offered, such as snorkeling and scuba diving, were a lot of fun. They also organized memorable events like live music and a beach bonfire, which added a great touch to the experience.
The female staff members at the resort deserve special recognition. They were professional, dedicated, and welcoming, going above and beyond to make sure guests had a wonderful stay. Their hard work and excellent service are a big reason for my 5-star review.
Unfortunately, my experience wasn’t flawless. As a woman traveling without a significant other, I had repeated unpleasant encounters with most of the male staff members. Instead of treating me professionally as a guest, they seemed more interested in hitting on me. Every time I walked around the resort, joined an activity, or tried to relax on the beach, they would stare inappropriately, make crude comments about my body, or harass me by repeatedly trying to get my contact details or asking me to connect on social media - despite me declining multiple times.
They often waited until I was separated from my family to approach me more overtly, even admitting they assumed my family was an obstacle to scoring with me, after I had clearly declined their various invitations.
This behavior made it challenging to fully relax and enjoy what was otherwise a remarkable resort. I strongly urge management to address this issue through comprehensive training on how to interact professionally with all guests.

Went there for our honeymoon and it was the biggest waste of money, time, and effort. The best part of our experience was the airport….the airport.
Additionally, the staff were downright rude and unpleasant. The locals will harass you at all hours of the day and night, soliciting drugs and other services. The food was a huge let down. The drinks were awful.
Last point is, my wife and booked an “Ocean Side” room. Well please be careful with making that selection because “Ocean Side” simply means you have a room NEAR the ocean. You don’t get an Ocean view or experience with this package, so shame on us for not reading that more closely.
My wife and I are not picky people. We genuinely were very excited for this trip. We love the beach, we love new cultures, and we love to travel. The few, genuinely nice staff members that were there did not make up for the horrible experience we had to put up with.
Location is beautiful but there are much better resorts and hotels on the island. If you decide to go with this resort, best of luck

We stayed her for 5 nights and had a wonderful time. The rooms were clean, the shower had hot water, the a/c was cold, the sheets were clean. Housekeeping came daily and cleaned the room and never messed with our personal items. Our room faced the ocean and we were steps from the beach. The drinks were great, the food was wonderful - just be aware Jamaicans don't eat a lot of beef, therefore chicken is your better your better option when it comes to the best preparation on the island. We felt safe walking up and down the beach, and walking all over the resort.

Second visit to Swept Away and I hope it won't be our last - perfect beach, fantastic sea, beautiful hotel grounds, great food, great people. Nothing more I need to ask for.
A huge thank you to Carlton who made our Christmas and New Year holiday that extra special with his lovable character and high quality service; despite only being a trainee I'm certain he is destined for great things.

As a first-time visitor and a younger traveler, CSA was incredible. After navigating a somewhat chaotic immigration process, it was very easy to find the Couples Lounge, where they offer complimentary drinks (including beer) and bathrooms while you wait for your shuttle. The wait was no longer than 20 minutes. The shuttles are comfortable, and depending on the size of your group, it may just be your party or up to around eight people. The ride is about 1.5 hours, but it can be a little bumpy due to the many potholes on the roads. The driver slows down to avoid them, so it's a manageable experience.
Upon arriving at the resort, you're welcomed with champagne, and the check-in process is quick—around 10 minutes.
First tip: As soon as you can, head to the Guest Relations desk and make reservations for dinner at Feathers and Lemongrass (or any other specialty restaurants you're interested in). These spots fill up quickly, and you can reserve up to three days in advance.
I also highly recommend signing up for the catamaran tour or any other activities you'd like to do. Some events, like snorkeling (especially at 11 a.m.), may get canceled due to wind, but don’t worry—just try again the next day. We had a few cancellations, but when we did get to go, it was amazing.
The beach is beautiful, and there are plenty of chairs available—you won’t need to rush to grab one. The food is fantastic, and the menus at the restaurants change frequently. If you can, I’d suggest doing "double dinners" to experience as much as possible. You could try Patios at 6:30 p.m., then head over to The Palms for their buffet. There’s no shortage of great food! The staff will also make your drinks exactly how you like them, and if they’re not strong enough, just ask for a stiffer pour.
Tipping is not expected, but we did leave a little something for exceptional service.
Overall, the weather was perfect, the beach is stunning (it's by far the best section after walking along the shore), and I can definitely see us coming back to CSA in the future.
