Nice resort. Food in the main dining hall was good. It was hard to get a reservation at any of the specialty dining places unless you were diamond club. That didn't seem fair but luckily the other food was good. The battery on our room lock died so we got locked out of our room twice before they figured out the problem and had to walk so far to get to the front desk for help. And of course we get locked out after long days at the pool/beach or hanging out when we were already tired. They would tell us 5 minutes and it'd be 15 minutes or more before anyone would help. We had to get to the pool early because it closed at 6pm everyday which we thought was very early for a resort. Our room did not have any soap when we arrived. We called for it and it never came. We chased down a cleaning person to get some. The staff was all very nice just very slow and not very good at explaining everything about the resort amenities. I felt safe and secure here but I would probably not return unless I was attending an event.

My review is specifically for the Royalton Fitness team and the Spa. A special shout out to Garrison and Andre for the wonderful Sunrise yoga sessions every morning. Such a great way to wake up! A beautiful setting on the roof with a view to die for plus clear instructions for the moves and tailored to different abilities. Classes inside a studio just won’t be the same again! Plus a shout to Arlene for an amazing deep tissue massage in the Spa. Her healing touch was incredible.

We came on a family trip transportation was easy as we are taken directly from the airport to the hotel so that was a breeze however as soon as we got to the hotel we had to stand and wait over 1hr before we can check in immediately facing racial discrimination because the front desk would only attend to a certain group of people that skipped us. I will not fall short on explaining this place is beautiful and it is serene i would give vibes 6 on family side food 4/10 and guest service 0/10 We stayed a week and went 3 days without towels also made multiple requests was told yes and nothing happened, also first day by the pool they ran out of pool towels so that is something to keep in mind. Overall we had fun because of the excursions however customer service on the family side sucks if you do choose to stay here maybe diamond club is better because they attend to you more and “certain demographics “. We faced the same issues at the bars and dining they are all well spoken but not trained to see all skin color is the same we are all tourist and we all deserve priority its way too expensive to sit in a dinner hall waiting 50+ minutes to taste water while a particular group of people gets there champagne refilled 2x. This hotel needs to train its staff more or even pay them to be more credible because 3 days of room cleaning and my card was also used, luckily we had a great time but hotel experience was nothing but disappointing will not be staying here again

We booked the swim out pool for convenience as we travelled with kids and needed to stay close to the rooms. The rooms were decent but the pools and patio outside our rooms could have been cleaned a bit more frequently. The food was average at the buffet but restaurant food options were amazing. The beach is absolutely stunning. It was clear, shallow and calm which was great for families with children. Staff around the resort were nice, but not always helpful. We went to celebrate an anniversary and informed them ahead of time. They said they would do complimentary room decoration and sweets platter, but nothing was done. Nonetheless, staff were still kind. Entertainment in the evenings were mediocre, nothing too amazing. Overall a decent resort on a beautiful beach for families!

My husband and I stayed at Royalton Hide Away Adults Only for our honeymoon last week. When we arrived we were given a room with a broken bed and then we were transferred to a room that was warm as the air conditioning was not working in the new room. We reported it on the hotel app and they said it was addressed however we did not notice a difference in the air conditioning for the rest of our stay. We were unable to secure dining at any of the speciality restaurants and ended up eating all meals at the main restaurant with families from the adjoining hotel. As local guests I do feel we were not treated as well as the foreign guests especially at the bars by the pools. But the food was excellent 👌🏾 the waiting staff were professional for the most part and the property is gorgeous and well maintained 🤩
