First of all I want to say this place is beautiful. On entering the build there is a 70's vibe but in a good way. The place is spotless and the beach is magnificent. The staff are welcoming and always friendly and are always helpful and asking if there anything they can do. The rooms are big and plenty of space, only concern if if you're a new couple the toilet door will be a shock, very little privacy. Food is always available and varied. We found the outdoor grill to be the best. One thing I will state, if they offer you the tour (time share programme), DECLINE. They will say its only an hour max but its nearly 2 hours and they will aggressively pressure you into buying into the "program" and if you refuse they pretty much push you out of the door. When you arrive if they don't offer, ask about an upgrade, they should have offered it. All that said would I come back, 100%. The Aqua punta cana is beautiful and definitely worth the trip. It's perfect if you want to relax and unwind.

Overall, Punta Cana was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was beautiful, the beaches were stunning, and the people were incredibly welcoming. The service throughout the trip was impressive, and the vibe was relaxing yet fun. I definitely had a great time and would go back again.The staff was truly outstanding, and I want to give special recognition to Yeury and Adrian at the bar downstairs. They went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. Their friendliness, attention to detail, and great service really stood out and made a wonderful impression.

We stayed on the week of October 12th, and there was no sargassum, they do a pretty good job on keeping the beach nice and clean, the water was so perfect, we decided to spend most of the days at the beach. Hotel is listed as a 5 star hotel, structure wise, it is; that being said, they do fall short on a couple of items. First, the food, low quality and not so fresh, it’s the Caribbean and the orange juice is not freshly squeezed, it’s a processed juice that doesn’t taste good, the other natural juices they have, seemed mixed with water as it lacks the fruits sweetness. The breakfast buffet was the only mild option, but there are no lunch or dinner buffet options, leaving you with a few pool side and beach restaurants that are ok. Second, the beach and pool side cabanas, it’s a five star hotel, why would you charge for that, again, I’ve stayed at other 5 star hotels where they have those cabanas and you don’t have to pay extra for them. I wanted to start off with the food portion, because I wanted to get the not so good out of the way and focus on what made our trip. Special mention to the group of individuals who made our stayed a relaxing and enjoyable one. Miguel at the front door, Jose Luis at the Mediterranean and Italian restaurant, Carlos at the pool bar, Rafael, Rossy(not sure if that’s how her name is spelled, sorry!) at the beach, the crew at the spa, our housekeeping ladies. Their spirits and happiness to assist us on anything we needed really gets to you, they made our stay memorable. The spa is a beautiful, lots of light and an open concept at the hydrotherapy area. The spa services are highly recommended, they really pamper you. The gym has everything you need, and the guy on duty always makes sure there are extra towels, enough waters, even fruit, so kudos for that. There is a hotel next to it under construction, so keep that in mind when booking garden view rooms. We booked a pool view room, it has a lot of space, big tv, comfortable bed with a pillow menu, the shower has more than enough space, the balcony has a jacuzzi and a nice area for you to lay down. Most importantly and worth mentioning, our room was always kept impecable, our room service was on point. Concierge will ask you if you would like to join their dedicated group on their sales pitch, keep in mind you’ll be there for around two and half hours the least and will not get a good treatment if you say “no”, they will disappear and send their manager, at least the manager shook our hand and said goodbye.

My boyfriend and I just spent 5 nights at Live Aqua Punta Cana (my second visit, his first) and we are already planning our return. This resort is everything we love about an all-inclusive but on a more intimate, boutique scale. It’s adults-only, quiet, and beautifully designed. The property is new, spotless, and modern, with gorgeous landscaping and multiple pools spread across the grounds. We especially appreciated how many umbrellas and shaded areas there are, it made relaxing outside so comfortable. Every pool was amazing and never too busy, so you can be social near the activity pool or slip away to somewhere peaceful. The swim-up bar and poolside service were fantastic, and the spa was wonderful too. Dining was a highlight. There are so many restaurants to choose from plus 24-hour room service, and everything we tried was amazing, a big step above typical all-inclusive food. Service throughout the resort was consistently warm and professional, and we have to give a special shout-out to our waiter, Dario, who went above and beyond to make our meals feel special. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and every staff member we encountered was genuinely friendly and helpful. After two stays I can confidently say Live Aqua is the perfect balance of luxury, tranquility, and great amenities. I can not find another resort like it, it is my all time favorite! If you’re looking for a modern adults-only boutique resort with incredible food, multiple pools, and excellent service, this is it. We can’t wait to come back!

Live Aqua Punta Cana has been the best resort I’ve been to. Their atmosphere, food, and the service was absolutely fabulous. The staff I believe truly make it that more special. Everyone was so kind, personable, and attentive. Also, the entertainment was so fun. We attended an event almost every day and it was great. I 100% recommend this location when visiting this beautiful country and city.
