An absolutely unforgettable stay at the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok. I spent six days here, each one feeling like a true moment of bliss. My room, spacious and refined, offered a splendid view. Breakfast, with its remarkable variety and quality, was a daily delight. Having stayed at several Mandarin Oriental properties, I can confidently say that Bangkok has been, by far, my most memorable experience. I was deeply touched by the attentiveness and kindness of the staff: their smiles, thoughtfulness, and remarkable anticipation truly made all the difference. They call this hotel the Grande Dame for a reason! We've stayed at many luxury hotels around the world, but this one is truly something special. No one does hospitality like Thailand and this historic hotel is special. From the elegant interiors to the genuine warmth and professionalism of the staff, every moment here feels elevated. The attention to detail, the way the team anticipates your needs before you even say a word, and all the little thoughtful touches, It’s just on another level. A special thank you to Suppakarn, who remembered my mention of the pandan pancakes I loved during our visit last year. Although they weren’t available this time, Suppakarn surprised us with them on our final morning. It was such a kind and heartwarming gesture. Thank you Suppakarn and the chef, and the entire team, it meant so much to us. And to Pheaksa - Thank you as well. You always remember our son’s name, and even though he’s still little, he already knows how much that means. It made him feel seen and special, and we’re so grateful. Best hotel choice for a romantic getaway. We were greeted with very attentive service and luxury. Great view from our room, comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom, and helpful staff. There is a boat that shuttles across the river every half hour to Icon Siam and the spa and hotel restaurant. Dinner options and breakfast were all very delicious with a wide variety. Will definitely return next time we are in Bangkok.

If there is a better hotel in Thailand, I don't know what it is. Superb levels of service, a beautiful property, full of rich history particularly literary (I liked waking early and working in the James Michener suite, one of my favorite authors). My tips are consider visiting the low season (July and August) when rates are the lowest. All rooms are very good and spacious. The afternoon tea is highly recommended. Use their transfer to and from the airport, it has many perks. They actually have people at the airport to help you with your luggage and check in to your flight which was a very nice surprise. I'll certainly be back.
