My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Margaritaville Resort Orlando last spring! The hotel had a relaxing tropical vibe, and our room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We loved spending time by the pool. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. It was the perfect getaway, and we can’t wait to come back! Also very easy to get to Disney thanks to the shuttle.

The Resort is on point. From the start to checking out there were no issues. The room service was good and the option to have service or privacy on the door was really cool. The pool area is awesome and the cabana rentals are affordable. It's pet friendly which is a must for me. There are many options for food around the area and keep in mind the traffic as well.

My stay at Margaritaville Resort was unfortunately not what I had hoped it would be. Upon entering the room, I noticed the air conditioner was not working properly. It was going to be a very cold night, and I wanted to switch it over to heat. This wasn't working, so I called the front desk. No one answered after three calls, so I walked up to the front myself and told them about my issue. They told me that they would have someone over soon to check on the issue, and they did. Maintenance told me that the AC would not switch to heat if the neighboring rooms had their setting to cold, and he recommended I swap my room. It was already late, so I chose to just hope that it wouldn't get too cold, and just call for blankets instead. I was told that they would send blankets my way, but 20+ minutes passed and I never received any, so I begrudgingly walked over to the front desk to get my room swapped. The process was mostly smooth. I unfortunately had to swap to a double bedroom as all the king rooms with a pool view were taken, but I just wanted a warm room so I took it.
This is where the second part of my issues begins. When I swapped to the new room, the AC was working and I was able to get it to warm, but then I turned on the TV and saw that it was not working. When I went to call the front desk, I found that the phone also wasn't working. Using my phone, I contacted the front desk, and again, after a couple of calls, I finally got through to them. When they sent maintenance over, I was once again given bad news. The issue is one that they are aware of and unfortunately couldn't do anything about. Maintenance did tell me that if I chose to swap rooms again, the buildings on the other side of the property didn't suffer from this issue, but he also added that there is a chance that it could be working in the morning. I did not want to swap my room a second time that night, so I just accepted that I would have no TV. It was only until the following night that I finally had TV in the room, as it randomly began working.
I give the property a 3/5 because it is very nice and located in a great spot. My initial thoughts upon walking into the lobby were that I was going to have a great weekend. And it could've been without the issues, as the resort has lots to offer. While the issues weren't glaring enough to ruin the weekend, I did think to myself a number of times how it would've been better if I just stayed elsewhere.
I won't be back.

Terrible. Disappointing. Deceitful. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a stay. We booked through our Capital One Travel Card, and I was told that the price included all taxes and fees. After the trip we saw a charge for almost $300 on our credit card. I called the hotel about 10 times trying to reach someone, trying to just see a copy of my bill. The people there were no help. They couldn't even tell me what the charges were for. Until I eventually found out that they were resort fee charges. My total stay at the cottages for 3 days was only $900. So, they charged for basically an extra night for resort fees. AND we had to take out our own garbage and put our used towels in one spot for the cleaners. AND run the dishwasher for them. I am surprised they didn't ask us to strip the beds and wash the sheets ourselves too. Finally I did hear back from someone about our bill, and they said that they actually forgot to charge us for something, and so they waived that as a courtesy. Mind blown. Cannot believe they would even bring that up. Never book here. Never. And I hope a manager, or many read this, and someone reaches out to me to provide some sense of humanity. But I won't hold my breath.

Outstanding service!
My family (16 adults and children and 4 fur babies) had to evacuate our homes during hurricane Milton, so we came here. So happy they had availability for us to all be together!! The resort was perfect. They have great food options, lots of space to explore, live music, and are extremely pet friendly. The kids loved the arcade and pool area. Also, the staff kept everyone happy, informed, and safe. They were understanding, kind, and helpful.
We will all definitely visit again!
