This resort is lovely! The staff are excellent and extremely helpful. The food is delicious, there are different options to go to for each meal. The main buffet is open for each meal and is very good, but the other restaurants are absolutely spots to eat at! Flora is delicious for breakfast and dinner, and Blue agave (Mexican restaurant) is fantastic and where we had lunch most days, be sure to say hi and ask Victor for recommendations to eat there!
The rooms are large and clean, each room seems to have its own hot tub on the balcony.
The beach is clean and peaceful, we were in the huts with beds in them on the beach each day! Naps and reading books, with servers checking in regularly if you want anything to drink!
Pools, there is a loud pool and a quiet pool, we stayed at the quiet pool a few times and loved it. The loud pool looks like a fun time too! Always entertainment happening.
Altogether a fantastic resort and will for sure be coming back!

We had an awesome stay at Paradisus Playa del Carmen. The hotel was beautiful and the rooms perfect size. We really enjoyed the pools. The restaurants were great. Restaurants Naos waitresses were great Liliana, Valentina, Evelina & Emanuel all were wonderful in our experience. Would highly recommend.

The beach here was absolutely flawless. I have stayed at many resorts in Playa before but this one takes the cake. The food was amazing, which wasn't even the best thing about the property. The service was impeccable! Iris, the waitress at the beach bar was fantastic. She was so friendly and was really fast! She worked really hard and was so pleasant! Thanks Melia and Iris!

We had an absolute amazing stay at Paradisus Playa del Carmen. The hotel was beautiful and the perfect size, especially with two children. The kids really enjoyed the pools, water park and especially enjoyed the Coati, fish, and turtles. All of the food was very good and we particularly enjoyed the food at the Mexican night. Our concierge, Johnathan, was fantastic! He made our trip extra special and was the best we’ve ever had. Thanks for a great trip!

Awesome all inclusive resort. All staff are so pleasant and helpful. Restaurant and food options are great. Adult vs Family areas are very good for anyone with preferences or needs. Some confusion with the Family Exclusive, all inclusive and Adult only Reserve, limitations. Orientation on arrival could have been a little more clear. Some confusion about the expectations for tips in an all inclusive resort with tip jars commonly seen. Felt a bit of pressure to attend the 'information session' to learn about joining the resort rather than booking thru a 3rd party in the future. Rooms and amenities are great. Highly recommend this vacation destination.
