Great trip. Thoroughly enjoyed Noemi at the Mama & Juana bar. She makes the best cocktails and is incredibly friendly. Best service at the resort (the house keepers are also phenomenal). Recommend as a family friendly resort!

A Cautionary Tale: Avoid the Paradisus Palma Real Golf & Spa Resort
My recent stay at the Paradisus Palma Real Golf & Spa Resort was a harrowing experience that I would not wish upon anyone. This hotel is a prime example of a tourist trap, designed to lure unsuspecting guests with promises of luxury and relaxation, only to deliver a substandard and potentially dangerous experience.
Reasons to Avoid This Hotel:
Deceptive Pricing: The hotel engages in bait-and-switch tactics, advertising lower rates only to significantly increase the price upon arrival.
Unsafe Accommodations: The rooms are often dirty, infested with bedbugs, and lack basic amenities. Showers are frequently clogged or broken, posing a health hazard.
Subpar Food and Service: The all-inclusive food is of poor quality, and the staff is both unhelpful and rude.
Medical Rip-Offs: The on-site medical services are exorbitantly priced, and the staff may attempt to upsell unnecessary treatments or misdiagnose conditions to inflate bills.
Lack of Safety: The hotel prioritizes profit over guest safety. In the event of an emergency, guests may find themselves neglected or even exploited.
I cannot emphasize enough the dangers of staying at this hotel. The Paradisus Palma Real Golf & Spa Resort is a cautionary tale, a place where guests are treated as cash cows rather than valued customers. If you're seeking a safe and enjoyable vacation, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere.

Beyond grateful for the experience but my family and I were not satisfied AT ALL 😡 Most the staff was very friendly but a handful were clueless. FOOD WAS DISGUSTING. By the end of the week people were getting food poisoning. Not to mention all the hustlers at the beach wanting you to buy everything and anything they had. My family and I went on a fishing trip, for 4 hours, the boat was older and was not well kept, the fumes of the diesel were unbearable. Not to mention everyone from the trip came home sick.

Melia Paradisus Palma Real: A Robber's Paradise
Review:
I am writing this review to warn anyone considering staying at the Melia Paradisus Palma Real in Punta Cana. Do not book this hotel. It is a scam.
The hotel's sales team are a bunch of crooks. They will lie to your face, manipulate you, and charge you exorbitant amounts without your knowledge or consent. I was overcharged by three times the agreed-upon price.
When I confronted them, they offered no explanations or receipts, simply claiming that I had signed for the higher amount. This is a complete lie. I would never have agreed to such a ridiculous price.
I am not the only one who has been victimized by this hotel. Several other guests in my group reported similar experiences.
If you value your money and your peace of mind, avoid the Melia Paradisus Palma Real at all costs

Despite the promising aspects of beautiful accommodations and a few positive dining experiences (only at the buffet), the overall service and management missteps significantly impacted our stay at Paradisus Punta Cana. The lack of attention to detail, particularly in customer service and dining, suggests that the resort's promise to "Elevate Your Stay" falls short. This was not the "pure luxury" experience we were led to expect, and we found it difficult to justify the cost given the quality of service received.
