What a wonderful hotel. Went late last year on a weekend and purchased the package with the breakfast. Note that adding breakfast each day was only a few dollars per person whereas if you go there daily it's about $30 a person for the buffet. The rooms are slightly oversized with high ceilings and modern amenities (e.g. flat screen TVs). We had a great view of SeaWorld. The restaurants inside are great and the customer service is great. The hotel is right next to the highway which makes a convenient location if you're there on vacation.

BUYER BEWARE. In hindsight, a horrible experience with this resort. The hotel was a ghost town while we were there and now I know why. We thought we got a great deal on the 3 nights leading up to Christmas for just under $300. What they did well to hide was a $45/night resort fee (!) and $32/night parking fee (!). They almost doubled the cost to stay in just fees. That's for SELF parking as well; valet parking was over $50/night! Not once did they mention this during my stay, but when I called the front desk after the fact she knew what the fees were right off the top of her head. Clearly this isn't the first time people have been irate about their fee situation. They could mention it at any time, they just won't though. I wouldn't feel so bad about it if the hotel was not dated, but it is. The room was spacious, but carpet was sticky to the touch when walking barefoot. Absolutely disgusting. The bathtub did not drain entirely, leaving some water behind in the tub that would smell up the bathroom overnight. TV remote had buttons that don't work properly.
Staff is courteous enough, but nothing excellent. The restaurants are okay, but not extraordinary. There's a non corporate Starbucks there, so your gift cards or points don't matter. Overall just an unpleasant experience that is made more sour by hidden junk fees. I'm determined to ship for hotels differently now because of this experience. I left the hotel saying we should come back and recommend this place even with the short comings it has, but after doubling the price in fees I'll never recommend it and I'll be letting everyone know far and wide to stay away from this brand.

We recently stayed at the Renaissance at Sea World for the State Championships for the Robtics league our Grandson is in. The convenience of being right across the street where the competition was being held was a plus for myself and my wife who are disabled, but that is pretty much where it ended. After checking in we incurred what was supposed to be an exciting two day event, turned into unexpected fees, a stinky room and an altogether forgettable experience. We got to our room and called down to the front desk and asked if the hotel offered a Continental Breakfast and the hostess said yes they offered a Continental Breakfast Buffet or you could order off a menu for an made to order breakfast. Well the prices were kind of pricey so we opted for the Continental which in almost every other Hotel you stay at they are free. Well to our amazement after we had been told that they did have the Continental breakfast thinking it was going to be like the other hotels and after we had already got our food and seated at the table and was eating, the waiter came over and asked if we wanted to pay now or just charge it to our room while we were eating mind you. My wife asked why are we paying for a Continental Breakfast they are usually free the waiter said no you have to pay for the Continental. Well sticker shock struck in for two adults and two children the age of ten $115.00 thats almost $29.00 apiece for an sub par very bland breakfast. We did not get WIFI that is also $20.00 a night, every other hotel offers Free WIFI, then came the parking I know parking in Orlando is a hot commodity but $38.00 a night is ridiculous just on the other side of the road to Sea World it's free. Oh yeah by the way there is a two dollar fee assessed to you for paying with a credit or debit card if you do not have your room key card on you, if you do have it they charge it to your room. Also non-refundable. Then comes the four star room it was nice and cozy but just like above that was about it when we got into the room it smelled like cigarette smoke in a non smoking room the bathroom was okay but there was no vent fan so if you wanted to take a hot shower to relax you had better not take any clothes in with you to put on because they may possibly be damp from the moisture. What was supposed to be a fun and exciting weekend turned into unexpected fees and stinky room sub par dining experience in what is supposed to be a premiere four star hotel, left us with an experience that we will not be coming back to this hotel. Being a disabled Veteran I would think that we could get some kind of discount for our service but hey this is the times we are living in. It is all about the money, what happened to the hospitality of come on in let us make you comfortable while you are here and thank you for choosing us. It's all gone I know we will get an apology or something but the damage is already done. We will not be coming back to your establishment.

Had a wonderful weekend until I checked out. The following Monday, I get charged for Taxes and Resort fees, which I paid prior to my stay with everything else. Tried calling their numbers, and it sent me to Mississippi, where the lady said it is not the first time people have called to complain to the hotel, but the number is for a completely different entity. Filed a dispute only to have it denied because they told the bank that I said to charge me those bills separately at the end of the stay. Be careful we're you swipe and sign with these people.

I recently stayed at the Renaissance at SeaWorld for two nights during a business trip to Orlando. The hotel is quite expansive and packed with amenities, which made my stay comfortable and convenient.
The rooms were generally clean and well-maintained, but I did feel that they are due for some modernization. While they served their purpose well, updating the decor and furnishings could greatly enhance the overall guest experience.
In terms of pricing, I found it to be in line with other business hotels in the area, making it a competitive option for corporate travelers.
Overall, the Renaissance at SeaWorld provides a solid experience with great facilities, but a little updating could elevate it to the next level. I would consider returning for future visits, especially if improvements are made.
