I recently stayed at the Renaissance at SeaWorld for two nights during a business trip to Orlando. The hotel is quite expansive and packed with amenities, which made my stay comfortable and convenient.
The rooms were generally clean and well-maintained, but I did feel that they are due for some modernization. While they served their purpose well, updating the decor and furnishings could greatly enhance the overall guest experience.
In terms of pricing, I found it to be in line with other business hotels in the area, making it a competitive option for corporate travelers.
Overall, the Renaissance at SeaWorld provides a solid experience with great facilities, but a little updating could elevate it to the next level. I would consider returning for future visits, especially if improvements are made.

BUYER BEWARE. In hindsight, a horrible experience with this resort. The hotel was a ghost town while we were there and now I know why. We thought we got a great deal on the 3 nights leading up to Christmas for just under $300. What they did well to hide was a $45/night resort fee (!) and $32/night parking fee (!). They almost doubled the cost to stay in just fees. That's for SELF parking as well; valet parking was over $50/night! Not once did they mention this during my stay, but when I called the front desk after the fact she knew what the fees were right off the top of her head. Clearly this isn't the first time people have been irate about their fee situation. They could mention it at any time, they just won't though. I wouldn't feel so bad about it if the hotel was not dated, but it is. The room was spacious, but carpet was sticky to the touch when walking barefoot. Absolutely disgusting. The bathtub did not drain entirely, leaving some water behind in the tub that would smell up the bathroom overnight. TV remote had buttons that don't work properly.
Staff is courteous enough, but nothing excellent. The restaurants are okay, but not extraordinary. There's a non corporate Starbucks there, so your gift cards or points don't matter. Overall just an unpleasant experience that is made more sour by hidden junk fees. I'm determined to ship for hotels differently now because of this experience. I left the hotel saying we should come back and recommend this place even with the short comings it has, but after doubling the price in fees I'll never recommend it and I'll be letting everyone know far and wide to stay away from this brand.

My husband liked it, I thought the furniture holding the fridge was old, the door was broken. And the tile in the bathtub was cracked and sloppily re-caulked. The interior courtyard is a strange liminal space, but the waterfall and stair platforms are cool, my daughter liked climbing up those. They have a nice pizza oven at the Provisions quick service restaurant. The oatmeal was over priced in the morning but it was big enough for family to share. The balcony overlooked the seaworld parking lot but it was cool hearing the happy screams from the roller coaster riders in the morning. It was too cold and late to use the pool but it looked inviting. I wish there was a robe in the room. Would not go back but my husband liked it. Bed was super comfortable; slept awesome. It was nice to be able to open the balcony for fresh air and I liked the smell of the fancy soap.

Had a wonderful weekend until I checked out. The following Monday, I get charged for Taxes and Resort fees, which I paid prior to my stay with everything else. Tried calling their numbers, and it sent me to Mississippi, where the lady said it is not the first time people have called to complain to the hotel, but the number is for a completely different entity. Filed a dispute only to have it denied because they told the bank that I said to charge me those bills separately at the end of the stay. Be careful we're you swipe and sign with these people.

I’m still on a high after an incredible 5 days event at this luxurious hotel, where I attended a podcast conference that exceeded all my expectations! The hotel's opulent setting provided the perfect backdrop for learning, networking, and inspiration. It was truly amazing. But we’re not here to talk about the conference but this luxurious hotel.
The conference facilities were equally impressive, with state-of-the-art equipment (I do believe most was provided by the event planners). The event was put together by a group of people from the podcast conference but I’m also aware that they hotel's staff went above and beyond to ensure our event ran smoothly, and their attention to detail was impressive.
When I wasn't geeking out over podcasting, I indulged in the hotel's incredible delights – some mouth-watering wings, fries, lemonade & tiramisu cheesecake at their signature restaurant/bar. The server was quite friendly and very patient.
What truly impressed me was the hotel's exceptional service – every and I mean every interaction was top-notch.
So, if you're looking for a luxurious setting to host your next conference or event, I highly recommend this hotel. And if you're a podcast enthusiast like me, keep an eye out for future events here – it's the perfect combination of learning, networking, and luxury!
Quick note: we did not stay on site but I heard from a few friends who did - & they stated that the rooms were immaculate and you could see several with balconies overlooking this lovely open space.
