We had an incredible time at Sanctuary Cap Cana and honestly have very few complaints. The food was absolutely delicious—truly a step above what we’ve experienced at other all-inclusive resorts. The staff were consistently warm, attentive, and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. I do wish the minibar offered a wider selection of drinks, but that’s a small detail. While some pools were sparkling clean, a few could have been better maintained as we noticed some algae. Also, during our stay, the beach had quite a bit of sargassum, which is a natural occurrence and not something the resort can fully control. Overall, the vibe of the resort was perfect for relaxation and enjoyment. We loved every moment of our stay and are already looking forward to returning. Highly recommended!

We just returned from the most incredible stay at this resort, and I honestly don’t understand all the recent negative reviews — they almost made me cancel, and I’m SO glad I didn’t! From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. A huge part of what made our trip unforgettable was our butler, Camacho. He went above and beyond every single day — anticipating our needs before we even asked, and making sure we felt truly cared for. His warm personality and attention to detail made our vacation feel personal and luxurious. He made dinner reservations for us at the Italian and Asian restaurants before we even arrived. The pizza in Sanctuary town was awesome, don’t miss it. The breakfast and lunch buffets had tons to choose from. The property itself was beautiful, spotless, and relaxing. We had an Ocean Review Swim up junior suite in the castle. We spent one day at our castle swim up pool and didn’t see anyone the whole day, we had the pool to ourselves. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and eager to help. Food, drinks, amenities — all top notch. The one con for me was that the steakhouse was not impressive, I would skip it if we went again. Don’t let the recent complaints scare you off — if my experience is anything to go by, you’ll be just as impressed as I was.

The hotel itself is spotless—everything was sparkling clean and beautifully maintained. The atmosphere is both luxurious and relaxing, making it the perfect getaway. The food was truly amazing! There are different restaurants on the property, and every single one served delicious meals with outstanding variety and quality. No matter where we dined, the experience was top-notch. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for excellent service, fantastic food, and a breathtaking setting. Can’t wait to come back!

Every detail is crafted with care from the warm welcome at check-in to the impeccable butler service that seemed to anticipate our needs before we even voiced them. The suites are spacious, elegant, and perfectly designed for relaxation, complete with breathtaking balconies and beds so comfortable they rival the best in the world. Dining here is a culinary journey. Whether you’re enjoying fresh seafood by the water or indulging in gourmet cuisine under the stars, every bite is memorable. The staff is consistently friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making your stay exceptional. Whether lounging by the infinity pool, sipping cocktails at the Castle Bar, everything at Sanctuary Cap Cana whispers luxury, peace, and perfection. I left feeling refreshed, pampered, and already planning our return. A true five-star gem in the Caribbean highly recommended without hesitation.

Far From Luxury – Save Your Money! I booked Sanctuary Cap Cana expecting a luxury, all-inclusive experience worthy of its price tag (over $550 per night). Unfortunately, what I received was far from luxury. From the beginning, the food was consistently cold — even basic items like tea and boiled eggs at breakfast arrived barely warm. The grounds were unkempt, with dirty pools, the seaweed on the little beach they have was disgusting, and leftover food sitting out for days. Most disappointing was the complete lack of rest: on the second night, the noise from neighboring rooms was so excessive it was impossible to sleep. I reported these issues multiple times. While staff apologized and assured me that guest satisfaction is their top priority, the problems persisted. In the end, management offered only 20,000 Bonvoy points as “compensation” — an insulting gesture that in no way covers the loss of rest, poor food quality, or the overall substandard experience. Sanctuary Cap Cana markets itself as a luxury property, but my stay was exhausting, disappointing, and not worth the money. I cannot recommend this resort to travelers expecting a true five-star experience.
