So many plus points: fabulous lobby, smart, attentive, warm and professional staff in every capacity, comfortable, well designed rooms, two swimming pools and several fine dining options. So far so good. The location is both a plus (very convenient for getting around, decent amenities and travel options very close to the hotel), but also a minus (the traffic noise from the road bridge makes normal conversation all but impossible on the balconies). Also, for the number of guests, the pool areas are too small and crowded. The nicer of the two pools is constantly filled with young children, rarely any free loungers, while the larger, less inviting pool, provides only very limited seating. Everything in the room worked perfectly well, with decent aircon and a quality bathroom, but the fixtures and fittings are all old and a little outdated. The restaurants are all marvellous, but prohibitively expensive unless you’re travelling on expenses (or an oligarch). Not really a problem when some of Bangkok’s finest street food is available right on the doorstep. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend, though the traffic noise could be an issue for longer stays (not a problem with the doors closed at night, the rooms are mercifully well sound proofed). The river view is, of course, the key benefit. Never tire of it 😀

Lovely Hotel, with great location. Everyone was friendly. Reception helpful. Room was great. Great view of the river. I was pleasantly surprised of the TV volume in the bathroom so I can listen to the news while brushing my teeth. Kudos to the housekeeping team. They were generous with water and supplied extra towels and pillows when requested promptly. They even provided a bolster for my back. I had 3 great nights here and sad to leave such a great hotel.

We have stayed here a few times and always enjoy our stay. The hotel has that old school vibe, warm and inviting. It was fairly crowded during our arrival so the wait was about 30 minutes to get checked in. The staff are very professional and welcoming. The breakfast buffet is exceptional with a wide selection of choices. The hotel is located on the river with a great view.

The standard room was spacious and offered a stunning view of the river. Breakfast had an incredible variety of options, making it a delightful experience. Staffs were friendly. A few shops and massage places were within walking distance. The ATM in the lobby was a adding to the convenience.
