The hotel is beautiful and conveniently located. While the rooms show some signs of age, they are well-maintained, elegantly decorated, and still look great. The housekeeping service was particularly impressive—attentive, efficient, and highly professional. The breakfast offered high-quality options, though the flavors may not suit those seeking authentic Thai taste. One area for improvement would be the swimming pool, which is starting to show its age and could benefit from some updates.

We stayed two nights in Sofitel. Our room was upgraded because of the platinum membership. The room is well decorated and the smart device is quite interesting. We love the audio a lot, think it's the best audio we saw in a hotel room. We can easily access to all kind of services via the tablet in the room, such as turn down, bubble soap, extra amenities etc. It's very convenient and also enhance our experience. We had the breakfast in both lounge and restaurant. The restaurant one is nice. The lounge one is beyond our expectation, we could order steak for breakfast and enjoy the privacy and tranquility. We had two evening cocktail time in the lounge, lounge would change the hot dishes everyday and the Thai foods are impressive. Cocktail menu got classic cocktail and house special. We enjoy the time there and got tipsy every night. The welcome drink in rooftop bar is amazing. We came there in sunset time, and was arranged a nice seat for sunset. Overall, very pleasant stay and recommend to all

I adore this hotel! I stayed here for 4 nights at the start of my January Thailand trip - visiting from San Francisco. I've stayed at Sofitel in other countries and love their consistency of quality and famous room views. Traveling solo, everyone was super friendly and helpful, I felt very welcomed. The breakfast is really good - LOTS of options (western, Chinese, Indian, french, etc). The rooms were spacious, and I really enjoyed my view (I wasn't even on the top floors, I was mid-hotel, and the view was still great). I got a pretty good rate for this hotel so for me the hotel was totally worth the money! A few limitations to consider: (1) Extremely hard to get grab cars as the traffic is so bad in that area - however you are central and can walk most places around you, and the hotel is connected to BTS. (2) Unfortunately not much wiggle room on late check outs Honestly, other than that it was a perfect stay... Would def recommend and stay here again!

I had a 3 day work project in Bangkok and 1 day of rest. I decided to treat myself and my wife to the Sofitel Club Millionaire executive floor. It did not disappoint. The staff looked after us so well in the lounge from checking in to enjoying the food and drink on offer. It was worth the money.
