Design: ★★★★★ The design of The Standard Hotel is truly impressive. The modern, stylish decor and attention to detail create a unique and inviting atmosphere throughout the property. Room: My room was spacious and very comfortable, with plenty of space to relax. The bed and furnishings were high-quality, making for a restful and enjoyable stay. One thing need to add in for the five star hotel is smart TV Service: ★★★★ Service was generally very good. The staff were friendly and helpful, though there were a few moments where things could have been a bit more attentive. Overall, it was a positive experience. Breakfast: ★★★ Breakfast was a bit underwhelming, with limited selection. While what was available was fresh and tasty, I would have appreciated more variety. Facilities: ★★★★ The facilities are nice overall. The pool area is pleasant but on the smaller side, and it could benefit from more frequent cleaning and attention from staff. Other amenities were well-maintained and added to the comfort of the stay. Overall: The Standard Hotel stands out for its beautiful design and comfortable rooms. Service and facilities are strong, though there’s room for improvement with breakfast variety and pool maintenance. A solid choice for a stylish and relaxing stay.

I’ve stayed at this hotel before and had a really good experience, but unfortunately this time it was quite different — and not in a good way. If you haven’t stayed here before you might not notice, but the standards have definitely dropped. The reception desk looks a bit scrappy, Breakfast was also disappointing. The hot food at the buffet was served cold, and the variety has really gone downhill. Previously, you could order from a menu with plenty of options, but now the menu is smaller and the buffet itself is nothing special. During this trip we stayed in a few cheaper hotels, and honestly, their food quality and variety were far better than what we experienced here. Overall, a bit of a letdown compared to what this hotel used to be. I hope management takes note and makes improvements, because it really was much better in the past.

While our stay had a few hiccups, it was the way the team responded that truly stood out. The staff went above and beyond to turn things around, especially on our departure day, ensuring we made our flight on time and surprising us with delicious snacks for the ride. Their genuine care and attention not only turned our experience around but also restored our confidence in The Standard brand. We’re already looking forward to staying again on our next visit to Bangkok. Highly recommended for service that truly cares.

We spent 2 nights at one of the larger suites and loved our experience there. My sister and her husband came for a short visit from the US and we decided to spend the weekend together before they go back. The rooms were cleaned and well kept and the staff were friendly and professional. We all had wonderful times, enjoying the hotel facilities and very attentive staff. We spent the evenings at Mott 32 and The Standard Grill with our friends and had a wonderful time. Definitely a well spent weekend.

-Very nice boutique & luxury hotel. The room was spacious and shower wonderful! Very lovely attendants and a service team who are kind, helpful and very warm. Convenient location and close to other restaurants and bar. Shout out to the great parlor team servers and bartender. Much appreciated. Only suggestion in future is to extend the hours of the bar amd accessibility of the roof bar next door.
