How far from resort centre?

It is located in a bustling area along the Chao Phraya River, in the heart of Bangkok's vibrant downtown area. The Standard Bangkok is about 27 kilometres away from the Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK). Depending on traffic, the journey from the airport to the hotel can take anywhere from 30 minutes to over an hour. We stayed here for 3 nights with my family. Our son has several allergies, the hotel staff were brilliant. They informed the restaurants on the property about our son’s allergies. The concierge recommend some great local restaurants that would be safe for our son to try Thai food. The pool had a live dj on Saturday and she played some great tunes. Thank you to all the staff, from ordering taxis for us, to double checking ingredients at breakfast.

Very spacious rooms with awesome views. Many picture worthy spots in the hotel including in the rooms. The breakfast is delicious and the waitstaff pays full attention. The hotel staff is the BEST! Tina, your hospitality is outstanding and much appreciated. Standard has found an excellent leader! The next time I am Bangkok, I will look forward to staying again at the Standard and finding time to checkout the rooftop bar. Something I missed during this trip.

What can I say - this hotel has been very carefully designed with so many different details taken into account, we had a huge room with a view of Bangkok. We were here during st Valentine’s day and got so many extras in the room it was ridiculous. Service is quick and smooth. The only thing I did not like is that even though the room was ready when I arrived 06:00 in the morning they made me pay to access it early. But we got so many vouchers for drinks it kinda made up for it. I sure loved the warm rim japanese toilets 😜

Cool hotel - room, service, staff are all great. Lots of interesting people staying and hanging by the pool. Has similar vibes to the NY original. AMAZING gym. Breakfast is okay. Wish it had a rooftop pool, it’s located on the 6th floor.
