Very spacious rooms with awesome views. Many picture worthy spots in the hotel including in the rooms. The breakfast is delicious and the waitstaff pays full attention.
The hotel staff is the BEST! Tina, your hospitality is outstanding and much appreciated. Standard has found an excellent leader!
The next time I am Bangkok, I will look forward to staying again at the Standard and finding time to checkout the rooftop bar. Something I missed during this trip.

Beautiful, contemporary glass high-rise hotel.
The only issue we had was it’s not in a walkable neighborhood at all . There is a subway station across the street, but if you want to walk anywhere, forget it.
It’s also attracts an extremely young clientele. The age is probably between 25 and 32.
The corner King room is beautiful. The layout is fantastic. We stayed in a standard king also , which is lovely, but the corner king room is a lot nicer and a big upgrade.
The hallways are overdone with overdone maroon, looking like a cruise ship and will be dated pretty quickly. (Like now)
Highly recommended if you’re young and want a youthful contemporary well run hotel.

We went for the “bar crawl” which included a passport which you stamped at each bar. The food was impeccable, the cocktails even greater. But the greatest was Ken at Mott 32 who makes the experience so special. I would recommend this experience to anyone I know traveling to Bangkok.

a very upscale, modern hotel. the staff are attentive and friendly, although they seemed a bit understaffed at times. i loved the vibrant variety of colors used in the upholstery. the hotel's location is very convenient. however, my room felt rather cramped considering the price i paid($350 per night). the complimentary breakfast was delicious, and since we stayed for four nights, we had the opportunity to try all the different menu options.

I had a lovely 3 day stay at the Standard. The rooms were modern, the bed was comfy with great floor to ceiling views. The gym was one of the largest/modern for a hotel I've been to. Service staff were great and welcoming. They kindly checked me in earlier as my room was ready. They always had a smile from the front desk to housekeeping.
My only gripe was the buffet breakfast which was disappointing. The food generally tasted bland. From the fried rice to the noodles there really wasn't much flavour. The avocado toast was rather sad with more corn than avocado on a cold soggy sourdough. The taco in the huevo rancheros was hard and unpleasant to eat. Taste wise it wasn't delicious either. It's probably safer to order the a la carte eggs and sides which turned out well. The buffet breakfast also suffered from a rather limited range that was made to order.
Overall it was still a lovely stay but breakfast dropped the standard by a bit.
