I celebrated my birthday weekend here and it was amazing. I had so much fun and felt so loved as well as catered to. Angelica was amazing and very attentive to us as well as the other staff members. I would definitely recommend staying at this wonderful hotel. The food was also incredible.

The property and location of the TRS Cap Cana resort are great! It is very small and easy to navigate and the surrounding town is worth a visit. Unfortunately, the resort itself is not something to rave about and I would not recommend it whole heartedly. I am surprised to see so many 5 star ratings. It is not the worst resort I've ever stayed at, but it is definitely not the best. Upon arrival, we had to wait for an hour to check in. We arrived from a cold place so we were not dressed appropriately for the heat and were not even offered water until we asked. Meanwhile, everyone around us that were also checking in were given welcome drinks. The food was not great. There is only two options for lunch and dinner each day, the lunch options being the same daily. The service at the restaurants were awful, usually getting our food before our drinks (ordering drinks before food as per usual). At the pool, although there were people supposedly taking drink orders, mine was only taken once during my 5 day stay. The pool towels were almost always stained, and the beach was full of trash. Although this is an adults only resort and marketed as a serene and relaxing place, it was incredibly loud at all hours of the day. Fortunately, we were able to change our room to near the spa area away from the main pool which was much quieter.

Our stay at TRS Cap Cana was truly enjoyable, and we had a great time soaking in the beautiful surroundings and relaxing atmosphere. The accommodations were luxurious, and the butler service was attentive and helpful throughout our visit. However, a few areas left us wanting a bit more. Our dinner reservations for one night were delayed, which disrupted our plans slightly. Additionally, the transportation services were a bit unclear, making it harder to navigate our schedule in the beginning. We also wished the resort had provided a tour or orientation upon arrival to familiarize us with all the amenities and locations—it would have been a nice touch. The shows were nice and entertaining and we loved Black Pearl! Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would recommend it to others with just a few suggestions for improvement.

Elian was great at engaging guests at the pool and including them. Jeremy was great and made sure we were taken care of at the pool. The restaurant wait staff all have been very attentive and great. Butler service is a little delayed and takes a bit for them to respond, but I gave grace because they tend to several rooms at once. Our private swim up pool needed to be cleaned and the hotel check-in staff need to be very clear about what the Premier Experience package entails and what you were buying, because we did not get all the perks it claims (save your $).

Our experience here was nothing short of amazing! From the resort it’s self to the staff I have had no complaints. We had Black Pearl as our activity guide and he was absolutely amazing and upbeat! He made sure to keep the party going. Our butler was on top of everything and made sure to book every experience we wanted to do. He was very communicative and quick with responses. Over all if you are thinking of booking here just do it!
