It's a great place in general. Thought I wished the premium package was offered at trip purchase at a discount. And room upgrades are more expensive then if you got them through your initial purchase. WiFi coverage is amazing. Food ranges from good to ordinary. The staff is very professional and friendly. But make sure you brush up on your Spanish, otherwise, some information will be lost in translation for special requests. The beach and pools are great. Alcohol selection is very good. Beach vendors were not as aggressive as at some other resorts. But if you stray from the hotel, it's open season. One thing I did not like was the travel club pitch, it was too long until they got to the point. Should you wish to go through the 60 to 90 presentation, then ask them to go to the point quickly.

Butler was great (Rodney). Always ready to assist us when needed. Great staff member for TRS. All wait and bartender staff was great too. Always willing to assist.
Areas for opportunity would be more consistent room service but this may be due to our room keys didn’t work most of the time. Needed constant reprogramming. Also it was a challenge to get transportation for place to place especially for dinner when we were dressed up. Carts would pass us even though we tried to get them to stop for us.

The food was good.. The Chic/ Cabaret show is amazing . The Butler Manuel was excellent. He made the stay memorable. Joan worked at the front reception services desk was amazing! I love the people that work at the resort very friendly and hard working! I enjoyed eating at Capriocoe, Helios, The Grill. We were at the adult only side.

First time in DR. It was a great trip. We had the romance suite with swim up. It was a nice size room and having a pool just outside the room was fantastic. Our butler was outstanding. Took care of everything we needed. If you have a lot of devices you may want to bring a power strip. There’s limited outlets in the room.

Would not recommend. If you're more interested in the beach and pools then you'll like it here. Our friend's room smelled strong of mold, we were locked out of our room three times on our trip, the food wasn't good, and the $1500 resort rewards wasn't really $1500, it was more of a coupon book that didn't actually apply for anything. The spa was amazing, the overall vibe is good, the beach was beautiful, and our butler and all the service workers were great. I would not recommend this place to family or friends as the food was really really NOT good and we were not told the truth about the rewards points until we checked in.
