Universal’s Endless Summer Resort - Surfside Inn and Suites

Unbeatable value here for a basic family stay around all the parks. We had a brief mix up at check-in and the very kind lady who checked us in upgraded our room to compensate, which was very much appreciated. The hotel itself is spotless. The staff are all warm and friendly and everything is constantly cleaned and maintained. The pool is shallow but perfect for younger kids. The gym is excellent for a hotel at this price point. We had no issues with the location whatsoever and found it very convenient despite not being connected to the other Universal properties. We didn't try the food but I would strongly recommend purchasing the unlimited drink deal if for no reason other than using it for coffee in the morning rather than paying $4.50 at the Starbucks in the lobby. The only knock is noise transfer between the rooms. The later part of our trip a loud group checked into the room above us and they woke our kids up multiple times each night. Otherwise the hotel is unbeatable for the price and we would absolutely stay again.

I stayed at this hotel during the week to celebrate my birthday, looking for an affordable option that wouldn’t break the bank. While the view from our room was stunning, the room itself was fairly basic and didn’t stand out. The furniture, particularly the trunk and the clock between the beds, felt a bit outdated. Unfortunately, the air conditioner didn’t seem to work as efficiently as expected, leaving the room warmer than I’d have liked, which made it harder to sleep. I’m glad we only stayed one night and decided to upgrade for the next evening at Aventura. The surf-themed decor was charming, but the hotel could certainly benefit from some modern updates. On the bright side, the staff was friendly and attentive, which added a nice touch to our experience. Overall, while there were some positive aspects to our stay, I’d likely choose Dockside next time instead. .

What a great hotel for the family. Had everything you need on site. The cafeteria in lobby was amazing. Had everything you could imagine. Huge rooms. We had 5, with room to not only sleep but actually relax a little and enjoy. It's as though they actually designed it for travel with a family. Great perks for universal we're included as a bonus and all very reasonably priced.

I was not impressed at all with this hotel. I only stayed there 3 nights and I was happy when I left. The room was clean but the floor gets dirty fast because it’s laminate. The view from the room on the third floor was nothing to brag about. They charged us for parking which I find ridiculous. On the third night of our stay there was a cockroach in our bathroom and when I told the desk all they said was oh so sorry. The staff were friendly. The location is good and the bus service to the parks were great but I can’t recommend this hotel. Stay somewhere else and always read the reviews.

We had a great stay. First time on Universal’s property. The rooms were nice and the pizza from their kitchen was very good. Just wish there was better soundproofing. We heard bother guests above and next to us the whole time we were in our room.
