I absolutely loved my experience at Surfside inn! The best thing of all is the amazing hotel staff. We were first greeted by Lisa who was absolutely wonderful. She was so hospitable and welcoming and had a lovely smile. It was lovely checking in with her because her very friendly and positive demeanor set the tone for the rest of our stay. She even made sure we got some vouchers to celebrate the birthday of one of our party members! Such a wonderful experience (Thank you Lisa).
Besides that, the hotel has everything one needs from spacious lovely rooms, proximity to theme parks with continuous shuttles to them, coffee and food downstairs including a mini-mart like cafeteria, and a lovely pool! Would definitely stay here again!

Great size property and room , clean, comfortable beds. Although the wall unit that powered the curtains didn’t work guest services sent up engineering to take a look at it. It wasn’t a big deal since the curtains could be manually pulled. The bathroom area needs more counter space and hooks but overall everything met our expectations for the price of the accommodations. And as a side note we were given an accessible style room.
While my mum and I stayed at both Surfside and Dockside during our cruise vacation, I preferred Surfside due to cleaner accommodations and less chaotic public areas.

Surfside inn was perfect when traveling with family! The staff was so nice and made sure we were taken care of. They had a playpen (4moms - brand) available for our toddler to sleep in upon check in. The Starbucks was perfect in the morning - they were very fast especially when busy. The bus transportation to and from the parks was perfect and super easy to navigate! We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite and it was perfect for my toddler, my husband and I and my mom. It had a fridge to store cold items and a good size sink! I can’t say enough about this hotel when traveling with a family, it’s a must!

Excellent experience overall! Has everything you need and more including transportation to the Universal Parks frequently the day and easy to get back on to return. Every staff member we encountered was delightful in all areas. The Starbucks team could have been a little friendlier but they were non-stop busy so I feel that played a part. Nice fitness rooms although I did not utilize, just viewed. Great restaurant with a lot of options.
I had forgotten my Halloween Horror Night passes and my ID in the room and were trying to figure out how to get them without leaving the park and going back to the resort to run right back to reenter for HHN. The guest services inside Universal Studios, Amanda, was incredible at helping us get them printed out on the spot and called the resort to help. They gave her immediately what she needed and she was able to help us out with a big smile. So I appreciate the time they took to assist her. The rooms were clean and spacious. Linens and towels restocked daily. Housekeeping was very kind and friendly as well.

Great Value Stay with Minor Comfort Issues
Our friend group recently stayed at Universal's Endless Summer Resort - Dockside Inn and Suites, and we were thoroughly impressed with the overall experience, especially given the price point. For four people staying in a suite, the total came to just $600 for three days--including our park tickets! The value for money here is outstanding and only 5 minute shuttle ride from the park.
One of the biggest perks was the early admission to the Universal parks. Getting a head start before the general crowds made a significant difference. The hotel's location is also convenient, with easy access to the parks via the complimentary shuttle service.
The dining options at the hotel were diverse and satisfying. Starbucks is busy every minute and I have not seen an empty line there, however, drinks come out promptly, the staff is very friendly.
The staff at Dockside Inn and Suites were amazing and incredibly friendly. From the front desk to housekeeping, everyone went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay.
As for the suite itself, it was spacious and clean, comfortably accommodating all four of us. However, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The comforter provided was a very thin blanket that didn't offer much warmth. Additionally, the towels were quite thin and not as plush as we would have liked.
Despite these small issues, we found the overall experience to be highly enjoyable and a great value. We would definitely consider staying at Dockside Inn and Suites again on our next visit to Universal Orlando Resort.
