Excellent value hotel. The hotel is extremely well kept. The rooms were perfect for our two week stay. It had a great location and very easy to use free transportation to universal city walk and volcano bay. The staff were extremely helpful. I would stay here again. The view from the pool view room was really nice and from the 9th floor you could see the Disney fire works at night.

Endless Summer made for a completely stress free family getaway to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. The property was spotless, easy to navigate, thoughtful amenities, Starbucks on-site (with coffee in rooms and the lobby as well). The staff were outstanding.
Having the kitchenette allowed us to have our Sprouts grocery ordered delivered at check in and provided endless snacks to our 3 kids that never seem to stop eating. Would HIGHLY recommend!

I recently stayed at Surfside Inn at Universal, and while my check-in experience was positive and promising, the rest of my stay was nothing short of disappointing. Upon entering my room, I quickly realized that there were no covers on the bed, which was unexpected and quite uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the TV was preset to a volume of 19, making it nearly impossible for me to enjoy any programming.
When I reached out to the front desk for assistance, I was directed to maintenance. Unfortunately, the maintenance staff was incredibly rude and dismissive. I was told that all rooms were set to volume 19, and if I couldn’t hear the TV, it was essentially my problem. They offered to turn on the live captions, but that wouldn’t be possible until the next day. This was particularly disheartening since I was in a hearing-accessible room.
Later, the front desk called to follow up on my issue. When I explained what had happened, their response was disheartening: “Yes, unfortunately, what they said is the best we can do.” With that, I had no choice but to shut off the TV and resort to using towels as blankets for the night.
Overall, this was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. The lack of support and the dismissive attitude of the staff overshadowed what could have been a pleasant stay. I would not recommend Surfside Inn unless they make significant improvements in customer service and room readiness.

Endless Summer Resorts are Universals Value Resorts. Last time we stayed at Dockside and this time we stayed at Surfside. It was simply decorated and the layout made it easy to find what we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful when needed. We had some issues with the water but they were quick to send someone to check it out.
With that being said I did find it ridiculous that I had to run all four faucets before I could get hot water for a shower. Also the beds were not very comfortable. And the pillows were small.
The food choices at dockside were better but we are well the first and last night at Surfside. Also the pizza /burger side at alarms to let you know when your food was ready. I ordered from the pasta side and my food was given to someone else and I had to wait for them to fix my food again.
As a whole it wasn’t a horrible place to stay. It just needs some consistency.

This is such a perfect hotel! The theming is so great! The hotel was clean and bright! The staff was so nice and knowledgeable! We loved the food offerings, the Starbucks in the lobby, the pool and bar as well as the location! Could not be happier! We will return!
