Great location, and loved it was connected to Cosmo. Room was a little dated with clear signs of wear and it would have been nice if the windows were cleaner, but the view was great. This is a solid hotel for those looking for a more classic hotel experience - no casino, and nothing bringing swaths of people in for dining or entertainment. Good value for money, and very nice staff.

Great choice of you don't need the hustle and bustle of the casino. The rooms are lovely and setup as a mini apartment. I would recommend cleaning the windows and housekeeping was a bit lazy on our stay. The lobby is very nice and the bar looked inviting.

Clean. That's the best I can say. The water was lukewarm. The room wouldn't heat up. We asked for maintenance. They came. No change. Parking is quite a distance to walk, and a parking garage, visible from check-in, won't allow admittance. It's a great way to force vallet at $35. For such an expensive place, I had higher expectations.

I had separate stays during 8.30-8.31 and 9.1-9.2 and my experience was awful. 8.30-8.31 was alright however 9.1-9.2 stay experience was mind blowing. I booked for a king room but the front desk gave us a queen room and her original words are like: I will gave you a queen room free of charge. Free of charge? Do we look like a joke to her? Who would want a queen room? We are a married couple! She sounds so privileged and made me so uncomfortable. But I wanted to rest so much after long day driving. So we had no other way and took the room. The queen room is way smaller than the king room we got during 8.30-8.31! The bathroom is also way smaller. There are no slippers. Also the bathroom door was broken and locked itself. We had to wait in the middle of the night for maintenance. Our stuff was locked inside of the bathroom. It took them forever to come. We have a flight to catch and all we wanted was a restful night. It just such a bad experience for us. I don't expect to stay in a hotel with a broken bathroom door, poor maintenance, insincere service in a so called 5-star hotel! Nobody apologizes to this situation from the hotel side yet. Literally mind-blowing. Vdara you did such a good job to disappoint a returning guest.

The location is fantastic - we got a studio overlooking the fountains. Our young kids loved the whole experience. You can get to almost anywhere through the connected hotel system. Only very minor downsides were no real restaurants in the Vdara. Also the pool is mainly full of adults, but still our kids had a blast in the pool. Such wonderful staff and very responsive the entire time! Will certainly return.
