First time staying at Vdara. It exceeded my expectations. We have stayed at a lot of different places on the Las Vegas Strip and this would be my choice for future stays. It is a non- casino condo-hotel, and is very peaceful and relaxing. The room was large and comfortable- and very clean. Huge bonus for me that there was a normal mini fridge for our use in addition to the stocked fridge. I had a medication that requires refrigeration, and this made it completely hassle free. The pool was relaxing, not crowded. Top notch service at the pool bar. As a kudos to the hotel, the housekeeping staff were warm and friendly, greeting us every time we saw them. They were so pleasant, that it stood out in my mind and made our stay feel even more enjoyable. It is a very brief walk to Aria and an indoor walkway that is connected to the Cosmopolitan-very easy, and quick access to two casinos and lots of restaraunt options. There is a lounge in Vdara lobby with cocktails and limited food menu, as well, making that a convenient option.

I stayed at Vdara 10/16-20 when traveling to Vegas for a music festival. I typically stay at Fontainebleau (which is phenomenal), but it was booked up with the exception of top-floor, super-expensive suites that were way out of my price range. Vdara was much better deal for the price, so I took it. The service at this hotel was very friendly. Everyone I interacted with seemed genuinely invested in making sure guests had a good experience. My first impression of the room was that it was absolutely huge! Super spacious with a kitchenette (complete with stovetop), living room area, and bedroom. Overall, this felt more like a studio apartment and less like a hotel room! The room was a bit dated, but it was well-maintained. The breakfast was surprisingly reasonable for Vegas. A (very tasty) blueberry muffin and coffee were about $10, which is a good bit less than Fontainebleau. I also got a $100 food credit, which I used at Lemongrass (super good Thai restaurant at Aria) and Nine Fine Irishmen. The hotel is connected to the Cosmopolitan and Aria, but it’s a haul to get from Cosmopolitan (a bit less so from Aria). Then again, it’s Las Vegas, so you need to mentally prepare yourself for a ton of walking. That said, once you’re on the Strip, you’re in a great location near Bellagio. Would recommend!

This hotel is ridiculously expensive for the level of amenities you get. The parking is very difficult- the Vdara does not have a self park garage, you need to park at the Aria and find the walkway. It's fine once you do it, but valet will not give you any information on this, so your first day is somewhat harried. Then the room. We chose one of the 800 sq ft corner units, and the room is very spacious, with a mini kitchen and a washer and dryer, but it's downright dirty in here. There is a literal drift of hair and other assorted debris behind the entrance door- the maids don't see it because they leave the doors open when they clean, but I sure see it every time I walk down the hall to leave the room. The large soaking tub had hair and some sort of yuck all over it. The washing machine, which I was very excited about and was a major factor in choosing this hotel, is moldy and smells terrible. The worst, however, is the lack of coffee pods, mugs, plates and silverware. I called and requested a dish set from housekeeping, service for 2, and they brought me 2 plates, 2 bowls, and 2 plastic forks. There's a dishwasher but no soap, a kitchen sink but no soap or paper towels. For $3k for 4 nights, I expect some basic amenities. Honestly, I've stayed in nicer Residence Inns. There are plenty of other hotels in Las Vegas, I woukd never stay here again.

I’m not a fan of the Vegas crowds, cigarette smoke, or casino chaos — but I do love a good Vegas show. Vdara is the perfect escape. It’s right off the Strip yet feels like its own oasis. Connected to The Cosmopolitan, which also feels a bit more elevated than most of Vegas. My mini suite was tasteful and fresh, and the staff was genuinely lovely. A quieter, more refined side of Vegas — and completely smoke-free.

The room had fantastic views of the Bellagio fountains, the Sphere, the High Roller, and the Paris Eiffel Tower. We chose a studio Suite on the 45th floor with Fountain view. The staff were exceptional and we greatly appreciated how attentive they were. We did have issues with Vdara charging $40 for valet and $20 for self-parking. The self parking is extremely inconvenient and you have to park on the other side of Aria or in the Cosmopolitan parking lot. We appreciated that there was an indoor walkway to The Cosmopolitan and also to Bellagio, as well as to the rail station that was complimentary to other MGM properties. The food is a little limited and we did order room service. We were very disappointed it arrived in paper and plastic unless you spent $125. We spent $56 for 1 omelette and 1 order of pancakes no beverages...way too expensive to arrive in a paper bag 😔. It's sad to see this type of service to your customers. 😔 We were there 4 days and did not eat there again. We went other places where we felt we got a better value. Other than a few disappointments, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially when you were able to tune in the music to watch the Bellagio fountains.
