Beautiful elegant hotel with great location . Pretty big and comfortable rooms .great breakfast with lots of choices. The view of the KL high rises , gardens around . Nice pool , spa and facilities. Very efficient & helpful concierge.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, and it was truly an exceptional experience! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was struck by the hotel's stunning decor and luxurious atmosphere. The marble floors, elegant screens, and impeccable design elements all exuded opulence and sophistication.
But what really made my stay stand out was the outstanding customer service. The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure that my every need was met.
The hotel's location was also perfect, with easy access to the city's top attractions. And with a fantastic restaurant, trendy bars, and a vibrant nightclub all under one roof, I never felt the need to leave the premises!
The attention to detail and commitment to excellence were evident in every aspect of my stay. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious and unforgettable experience. Dear Nigel,
I saw your response to my previous review. I stayed at your hotel for almost 5 days and noboby cared to contact myself or even resolve the situation concerning the breakfast then. You have now provided a very cookie-cutter response to my review without any substance or clear course of action. All this pretty much confirms that the hotel is not really bothered about the guests feedback as pretty much you are relying on the hotel brand name to drive business and happy to brush aside any issues the guests may raise. Sad to see such a poor management overall!

40-60 MINUTES LONG QUES FOR BREAKFAST SERVICE!
Each morning, we faced an unacceptable 40 to 50 minutes wait in the breakfast queue. Despite our repeated requests to address this problem, there seemed to be a lack of interest and responsiveness from the hotel team. Young staff members were left to manage operations without adequate support or intervention from senior management.
We were assured that someone from the management would reach out to us to resolve the issue, but unfortunately, this promise was not fulfilled. This lack of follow-through and concern for guest satisfaction is disappointing and does not align with the high standards that Mandarin Oriental is known for.
Several of our guests expressed their dissatisfaction with this aspect of their stay, and I feel compelled to share this feedback in hopes that it will prompt immediate action. The current approach to managing breakfast service is a major shortcoming that needs urgent attention to ensure a more pleasant and efficient experience for all future guests.

I had an exceptional stay at Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur back in October during a business trip. From start to finish, the experience was flawless. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted at the airport by a professional staff member who escorted me to my limousine, setting the tone for a truly luxurious stay.
The location is unbeatable, right next to the iconic Petronas Towers, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. Plus, the hotel is adjacent to a large shopping mall with all the major brands, making it incredibly convenient for both shopping and dining. Many key attractions are also within walking distance, which is a huge plus.
I visited the gym daily, and it was spacious, well-equipped, and had everything needed for a great workout. Unfortunately, due to my business schedule, I couldn’t enjoy a full breakfast, but I made sure to stop by for a refreshing detox juice every morning. The team, especially the supervisor, was incredibly kind, quickly recognising me and remembering my preferences, which added such a personal touch to my mornings.
My favourite part of the hotel was AQUA, the pool restaurant led by the amazing Jerry. I dined there daily, and his lovely, engaging, yet professional team made every visit special. A special mention to Tanesh and Ridzuan, who took fantastic care of me, always remembering my favourite food and drinks, such kind gentlemen!
I also had a wonderful experience at the Mandarin Bar and Grill, enjoying beautifully crafted cocktails, a fantastic menu, and an extensive wine list. On my last day, I visited the Chinese restaurant, Lai Po Heen, which served absolutely delicious food, a perfect way to end the trip.
Another highlight was my visit to the in-house hair salon, wow, what an experience! Jessica, who runs the salon, was so kind and sweet, but what intrigued me the most was her passion for hair. I have never seen anyone so dedicated, she treated hair like something truly special. Her hospitality, care, and attention to detail were outstanding, and I was absolutely thrilled with the outcome. For any woman, this is a must-visit!
The housekeeping team also deserves a special mention. The rooms were always immaculate, cleaned to perfection with great attention to detail. They ensured that everything was tidy, refreshed, and well-stocked, making my stay even more comfortable. Despite the hotel being large and busy, the team worked seamlessly, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness without ever feeling intrusive. Truly exceptional service!
Despite being a business trip, my stay felt like a true getaway, thanks to the outstanding hospitality. A huge thank you to the entire team, especially Filippo and Jaime from Food & Beverage, Lluis the Hotel Manager, and Mr Schnider the General Manager, for their care and attention.
I truly hope to visit again soon!
