We stayed at Melati Hotel as a couple with our 1.5-year-old daughter and had a fantastic experience. We wanted a spacious room with a living area, and the only option available was a pool villa. We were initially concerned about safety for our child, but the hotel went above and beyond by sending a team of carpenters to build a safety fence around the pool. They did this without compromising the aesthetics of the space—truly exceptional service! It's worth noting that this option is only available for specific types of pool villas. The staff at Melati were outstanding—always smiling, attentive, and ready to assist with anything we needed. Their warm and professional approach truly enhanced our stay and made us feel incredibly welcome. Beyond that, the hotel is absolutely stunning. The lush greenery, complete with birds and squirrels, makes it feel like you're in a jungle paradise. The rooms are of a very high standard—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of options. One small note: in the suite level we booked, I would have expected a rainfall showerhead instead of a standard one, but this minor detail did not affect our overall experience. We highly recommend Melati Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay!

My wife and I chose the Melati Beach Resort & Spa as the final stop of our tour in Thailand, and it turned out to be the best decision to end the trip in total relaxation. It’s true that the resort is located in a somewhat isolated area, but for us, this was a huge advantage: we were looking for a peaceful retreat to unplug and recharge. If you’re seeking a place far from the hustle and immersed in tranquility, this is the perfect choice. Inside, the resort offers every comfort needed for a stress-free stay. The facilities are well-maintained, clean, and equipped with everything you might need, so much so that you may never feel the urge to leave. The staff was exceptional—always courteous and helpful, embodying the kindness and hospitality Thailand is known for. Contrary to what I had read in some reviews, everyone speaks good English and is always ready to assist with a smile. In summary, I highly recommend the Melati Beach Resort & Spa to anyone looking for an oasis of peace and relaxation in a truly unique setting. It’s the perfect place to recharge and experience Thailand’s extraordinary hospitality.

Absolutely amazing stay at Melati for part of our honeymoon. Every single staff member from garden maintenance, waiters, reception and room service were impeccable and definitely 5*. The location is to be expected, quite remote as it’s meant to be a romantic getaway and it certainly felt like that. There are some nearby beaches you can walk to easily (one is naturist) and a tops daily down the road if you want to get snacks and drinks etc for your room. Saying that the room service and restaurant prices are reasonable considering its location. The shuttle bus goes to its sister hotel in chewang which is nothing special, but cheap drinks and a different setting. Lots of shopping at the night market too. You’ll probably have to get a taxi back which is 400thb. But to be honest I don’t know why you’d want to leave the hotel - it is everything you need. We had the pool villa and though small and somewhat shaded it was so private and suited our every need. The sanctuary pool is lovely if you want some quiet near a pool. Breakfast is also included and very varied. The setting with its waterfalls and organic garden is just magical. We’re sorry to be leaving paradise 💕

Very friendly staff. Nice location overall. Resort nicely arranged. Room was nice, big and very welcoming. Beach was sort of private, so not many people from other places. Spa was amazing. The Thai restaurant serves amazing food! Overall, all infrastructure and the rooms are quite old already. Still old TVs with blurry pictures. It would need some refurbishment now and then. For a 5 star hotel, I would expect a little more nowadays Nevertheless, great stay there for a few days.

The hotel was wonderful and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Our room was fantastic, we had a garden pool room and would recommend it for our honeymoon! The room was so spacious and plenty of wardrobe space, coffee facilities and a large bathroom. They had daily activity programme which was a nice add on, yoga, Thai boxing, stretching etc. The only issue we had was the location was a bit far out from the main towns, they did have a shuttle bus that went twice in the afternoon though that was helpful and saved cost one way. Although could of done a morning and evening shuttle too, as taxis worked our 400 TB each way.

They had upgraded our room booking without any extra charges. The room was quite spacious & had a nice balcony. From the room itself you can have a nice view of the sea!!! Breakfast spread was quite good & of real good taste! The best part of this hotel is its location & it's a little bit far from the noisy Patong beach area.... highly recommended.

Apart from the bathroom, I couldn't find much fault about this hotel. Friendly staffs with good pool facilities even after check out. I spent a night on a sea view room. I chilled by myself watching a Manchester United match which ended with a memorable win. Loved the seaview balcony and the atmosphere.

Just got back from Seaview Patong Hotel, and honestly, this place is a steal for the price! The staff were super sweet, and shoutout to them for the free suite upgrade 🙌. The breakfast? 10/10, no complaints. The bar has a total western vibe, and there were so many cool foreigners around. The pool access from the room? Unreal. Literally the best beach views of Patong right from your room. Oh, and the room service? Fast and on point. This place is a vibe, highly recommend! Love from India 🇮🇳

Honestly, one of my favourite hotels I've stayed at. From check-in to check-out, everything was good. Breakfast was nice with a spread of dishes from Thai to western. The coffee was really really good. Dedicated person to making fresh eggs the way you like it. With 2 pools at the front, one overlooking the ocean and another that is away from the public eye. Both are suitable for kids too. The accessibility to reach any part of Patong or Phuket is great with pick up station right outside of the hotel door. Grab costs around 50 baht to Jungcylon shopping mall (for an idea - time dependant) For activities, there is a tour and activity company inside at reception who will gladly assist you in making your stay in Patong amazing. Let's get to the room - it has everything you need + a great view. Spacious, air-conditioned, mini fridge that actually works, and the cleaning service staff was exceptional. Overall, would highly recommend Seaview Patong to anyone who wants to be in the busy area of Patong but removed enough to have a quiet night.

1. The rooms were quite run down. The windows, doors were creaking. I booked very early in March. But they did not give me balcony and we cannot even see the beach. 2. I had rooms with different problems. Leaking water from roof, kids slipped and fell. Lights did not function. Air-conditioning were not working properly. The flushing system was not good as well. The place not well-maintained at all. 3. We had coffee and they didn’t not refill the coffee sachets. No hotel slippers. 4. When I wrote in to confirm my bookings as I booked for 17 rooms. Replied came very slow and till the end, no reply as I add on a last room. 5. They did not tell us that security deposit is in cash, and because we had so many rooms, our security deposit were quite substantial. We did not set aside the amount. If they had informed me, when they email return reply to me, we would have set aside and not start digging out the cash on spot. The only thing that was commendable was the breakfast. It was good and had a variety. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for 2 weeks over Christmas and had 2 rooms for 4 of us. The staff are amazing, reception especially Eugine she’s brilliant and so friendly. The location of the hotel is perfect if you want to be somewhere walking distance to markets etc and literally over the road from the beach. It’s pretty peaceful at night which is good. The hotel itself is ok as a base, it’s dated and needs some jazzing up. The rooms for example need new bathrooms and painting. The food isn’t great it’s very Russian aimed but you can get toast and fruit which was fine. The majority of people staying were Russian tourists, they’re not friendly and they don’t wait for anyone. We even had one trying to block the lift button from being pressed when we were inside. It was a shame the hotel didn’t deal with the disruption from these guests, playing loud music on a speaker, shouting in the hallways around midnight, kids in the pool at 10pm. I don’t feel this can be classed as 4stars purely because of the guests behaviour, if you were in a 4 star hotel this wouldn’t have been accepted by staff and the food was not 4 star either.

This hotel is beautiful, our last day after a 2 week stay and have absolutely no complaints. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the cleaners do an amazing job keeping the hotel facilities clean! The reception staff and even the hotel chefs are all polite, friendly and helpful. This hotel is in a perfect location for anyone and everyone! Right near all the best party spots but all the best family spots too! The hotel also has a cat which they feed, the staffs compassion for this gorgeous animal warms my heart. Please keep being the compassionate people that you all are! A few minutes walk to the beach The room was a great size. Staff were helpful Breakfast was fine. If you wanted eggs, you could end up waiting a while, depending on when you went down. I noticed a few times that guests were asking for the gym to be unlocked in the morning as it had yet to be done.

We didn't like it here at all. And for the record, no one asked us how our stay was either. There was no hot water, no water pressure in the shower. We had noticed our room smelled bad, musty and dirty and ended up finding a lot of mold the day we were leaving. Looks like they try to paint over it but they could paint the lampshade. Breakfast was OK, and we appreciated having chicken options and not just pork. The location is pretty good. The rooms however are dated and not very clean.

We stayed here for three nights and the hotel was by far the best we’ve ever stayed in Thailand. The staff were incredible. They upgraded our room from standard to deluxe with a sea view for no extra charge. They also allowed us to check out as late as 5pm for a small cost. There is a gym, pool table, kids indoor play area, massage parlour and plenty of sun loungers around the pool. It is also right in the heart of kata. The only thing I will warn people of is that it is on a huge hill and it took 154 steps to get to our hotel room but the view was worth it. If you have mobility issues though, this hotel isn’t for you.

Fantastic hotel. Great position for beach, shops and restaurants. Staff so friendly and helpful. Can't do enough for you and so polite. Great choice of food in restaurant and very reasonably priced. Rooms lovely. Cleaned daily. Only thing that can't be changed is hillside position. However shuttle offered to/from beach 2 hourly and to your room on demand. We used to walk down and get shuttle back, which you can book in advance, and straight to our room. Lovely sea views compensate.

Excellent hotel, great service. lots of steep stairs if your room is on the higher levels. Alas there are no elevators but staff willingly drives you up the hill at no cost. As a positive, it should be safe from tsunamis.

Really good hotel. Staff is really friendly and always happy to help. They have a big swimming pool, that works all day and all night. Nearby restaurant has the best staff. They have really good evenings, when so talented singer comes. He sings different types of songs that's always nice. Thank you so much for my vacation!

The restaurant offers a fantastic 360° dining experience, and the super bar is, without a doubt, one of the best in Phuket. The villas are simply stunning—feeling at home here on my second visit! I work in hospitality and can say that this hotel experience left me very uneasy. A global feeling that as a guest, you should pay extra for everything: - Arrival: no flexibility, impossible to have a late checkout, different time for a shuttle or any solution is brought really. - Room: facility -- horrible noise from ventilation and water leak - Support: I experienced an issue in my room that prevented me from sleeping due to significant ventilation noise. Despite making six calls to the front office and having two in-person conversations with staff requesting assistance, no solution was provided. - Guest experience shows that the hotel lacks effective management. Why? There’s little communication among staff, leading to poor service. - Breakfast: If you’re unsure about the sweet part, it’s best to skip it. Everything, from pastries to pancakes to waffles, turned out too dry. - Perks: It’s somewhat amusing to highlight ‘perks' like complimentary drinks and tapas at the 360 bar, along with a 20% discount at the spa, while no one actively encourages you to take advantage of them. This feels like deceptive marketing, and if any department has the chance to overcharge you, they will certainly do so. - Spa: extremely unpleasant experience; felt awkward, pressured about pricing, discount not applied, unkind treatment, made to feel forced and businesslike when all a guest wants is to relax. - departure: I waited in the lobby for two hours without a late checkout, and no one approached me. The only exception was one wonderful staff member with an ear piercing—he was genuinely nice. Thank you for that kindness! - Highlight: yoga was a highlight and the teacher was really nice There’s a pervasive sentiment of wanting to make guests feel special, yet it comes off as forced, inexperienced, disingenuous, and lacking in solutions. A pity!

Extremely average. See below for details: THE GOOD: -The spa is excellent. Nuch did an amazing job and it was an exceptional experience. -The resort is massive and extremely hilly but the staff does a great job of patrolling with golf carts to pick you up and bring you where you need to go -The rooms are huge and very clean. We got the most basic room which ended up being larger than any NYC apartment I’ve ever seen THE BAD: -Service is impossibly slow. We ate at all three of the restaurants and at each one we would get our food up to an hour after we ordered. It even took 30 minutes for them to pour my wife her glass of wine in a restaurant of 75% empty tables. -Food and drinks are fairly bland at all restaurants and largely not worth the colossal wait -Limited on premises activities and engagement from staff outside of the restaurants -Hotel is not on the beach and you need to take a 10 minute shuttle bus to get to the closest one -Arranged a transfer from the airport through the hotel and the transfer was late and had to be tracked down outside rather than inside holding a sign like literally every other hotel’s transfer THE UGLY: -We took the shuttle bus to the beach on our last night to see the sunset and eat at one of the bars on the beach (tastier food and better service than the hotel restaurants). The hotel shuttle advertises a final pickup from the beach at 7:30PM. Around 7:35PM we started to wonder if it was coming and we called the front desk. “Sorry no 7:30 shuttle tonight, you can pay for a taxi back to the hotel.” Not ideal. Brought the issue up to the manager and was offered a free drink at the bar for compensation - no thanks. Probably would have given it a pass but other than the spa, they really had not bought a ton of grace throughout the trip due to the other above issues. Would not come back

June from the breakfast restaurant is amazing. So friendly and accommodating. She is taking the time to chat with you and makes sure you have everything you need. She and her management do their best to offer the best service possible. The resort has different complimentary activities including ducky pedalos and self sail catamarans. One of the swimming pools has a slide with a foam board bridge for kids to play. There is also a free shuttle bus & boat to take you to other places around such as the Boat Avenue where you can enjoy a night out or do some shopping. Good overall experience.

My family got food poisoning at the Thai Buffet! Visited the hotel in July of this year. First impressions were fantastic, the hotel is grand and very impressive. Room was super and spacious - we had an issue with a faulty light and large leak later in our stay but a maintenance team was sent out to fix these problems. Pools were nice but there is substantial building work going on so it is loud around the pool areas. As a family we visited the Thai Buffet meal as a treat, it was really expensive but we thought it would be nice. I am a vegetarian so didn't eat any meat whereas the other members of my family did. Approximately 6 hours after eating in the buffet, the three meat eating members of my family became seriously unwell with sickness and diarrhea. They were really unwell, especially my two children. We contacted reception for clean bedding etc and extra water/ room cleaning. I made a complaint to the management team who sent a representative to our room despite everyone still being sick etc. We had to fill multiple forms out. I asked for the meal to be refunded in the first instant and was first denied and was told this wasn't hotel policy. During a second meeting in our room, I was offered a 50% refund but only on the condition that my family, who were all being sick and had diarrhea at the time, traveled to a local hospital whilst it was 33+degrees outside. When I said they couldn't do this I was told that I couldn't therefore get a refund as they didn't believe that it was food poisoning as there were no other cases. I explained that we had all eaten and drunk the same foods since arriving in the hotel and that the only difference was that the meat eating family members all had a pork dish at the buffet were ill whereas myself who doesn't eat meat wasn't. A further 48 hours later, I was asked to go to reception where I was told I could in fact have a refund as the documents from the restaurant had been checked and one of the pork dishes wasn't at the correct temperature. Although a member of hotel staff told me this, the hotel have since claimed that no issues were found. This is an outright lie, the hotel have also claimed that they suggested and offered a refund willingly which is also a lie. Furthermore, my refund was only started over a week after checking out of the hotel. This was only after I contacted the hotel team to check on the refunds progress, I know they had made no attempt to make the refund as they asked for my bank details during this later interaction. I found this particularly annoying as I had asked whether they needed any details from me before checking out and they said no. There has been little to zero concern shown by the hotel for the welfare of my family and the fact that we lost a day and a half of our holiday through illness caused by their food. They did offer the chance of a free meal and a possible room upgrade (if available on check in) if we wanted to book again - I found this to be an empty offer as they are aware that we are from the UK and trips to Thailand aren't a regular occurrence. Avoid this hotel if possible!

We stayed in the loft It wasn’t ideal lugging suitcases upstairs and the lights were problematic. We couldn’t get them to turn off. Lounge area uncomfortable. No complementary bottles of water. The shuttle bus only dropped off / picked up outside the lagoon certain times this needs to be running more often. It was too far away from things for our liking however the resort was big and beautiful staff. Buffet breakfast was very good. The resort was quite pricy so probably wouldn’t stay here again

So nice of you to go around to your guest, made me feel special. There were a couple of higher management around but did not approach any guest. Guess we’re not appreciated by them. Send my regards to the breakfast area staff, they were all amazing. Amazing job by the intern from Nepal (please wish him all the best for me). Big big thank you to the housekeeping crew especially the ones that were near the 2371 room..they’re extremely good. Never forgetting the buggy drivers too, appreciate your hard work and always being on time and so very careful.

This hotel is close to the airport, about 20 minutes away by car. Our stay started with a welcoming mango drink, which was a nice touch and really appreciated, as it was hot and humid outside. All staff members are very helpful, especially the staff members from the hotel restaurant. They all try their best to communicate with you in English, which makes it so welcoming. Especial mention to Mai from the restaurant. His service is friendly, polite, very dedicated and hard-working, gives good food recommendations, provides consistent and excellent service. He also takes care of his guests, him and one of the girls (unfortunately I didn’t get her name) provided me a mosquito repellent during one of the dinners at the hotel, as they saw me trying to scare away the mosquitoes around me. This was such a nice and lovely touch! We stayed in this hotel for 10 days, and it has been incredible. We haven’t had holidays in a long time and we were looking for a relaxing environment, which this hotel gave us. It was so good to wake up in the morning with birds singing in the balcony. I will definitely come back to this hotel on our next trip to Asia! Totally recommend this wonderful resort. Ka pun kha!

Let's start with the positives: the rooms are spacious, and the service was partially friendly and helpful (it depends with whom of the staff you speak). Unfortunately, the negatives outweigh the positives: the rooms are not clean - we found hair from previous occupants in the room. The bed sheets are stained, and the bathroom has black stains in parts of the grout. In general, a renovation would be highly recommended. Worse, though, was the attempt to charge a beer from the minibar to our room, which we didn't have. Mistakes can happen, but when we raised this at the reception, we were asked whether we did not check the minibar when we checked in. Really? Never in my life did I check the minibar and it is the bloody job of the hotel staff to ensure everything is in order when you check into your room. Maybe it was a cheeky way to say that we try to steal, but that would be as bad as taking the statement literally. Overall, we can not recommend a stay in the resort.

We’ve booked this hotel very last minute as we escaped the bad weather in Phuket, and that was the best decision! This hotel is a little gem compared to other resorts in the area. Beautiful Thai style villas, a green and lush garden, overlooking a beautiful white sandy beach. The hotel is located at the end of Chaweng, so in a quieter area, but still surrounded by bars, restaurants etc. The hotel restaurant is amazing, we ate there twice, so is the staff, very helpful. In short, we will for sure keep this address for our next visit to Koh Samui! Thank you!

This hotel is nothing short of Amazing. The rooms are spacious and extremely clean. It makes you jump right into your comfort zone. We had a pool in front of our balcony which was again so nice. The staff here is extremely friendly and warm. They’ll make sure to have a conversation with you and ask you about your day and help you with other things on the island. You have to cross a small road to get to the beach and bigger pool area for which there is security which was so thoughtful. I can’t get enough. The pool area connecting to the beach was so quiet and serene you could just relax listening to the waves. The game area was so fun, being adults without children we spent 2 hours in there. It was truly difficult leaving this place. Will be back for more. Couldn’t recommend this place more. Amazing hotel! The room was so big, beautiful design. The pool area is fun, lots of place to hang, took kayaks for free and enjoyed the view. 20 min walk (with kids!) to the night market in Lamai. Our son was injured in the water slide and the staff kept asking about him and sending him stuff. We also enjoyed a cooking class in the hotel as part of the deal we bought and we super liked it! Also the kids club is great, the gaming room and the free cocktails happy hour. It was so hard leaving this hotel…

I’m not a huge fan of resorts but I had a great time at this one. The staff were really friendly, the kitchen food was great and most importantly the private beach was super clean. The buffet breakfast and seafood buffet was ok, but the food off the menu was really good. It’s pretty close to town so local restaurants with Thai food aren’t that far. There is also a really good French patisserie about 10 minute walk into town. It’s full of French people so it must be good! Anyway I had a great time even as one who doesn’t usually like resorts.

My experience was, unfortunately, bad at Outriggers. The cons : 1. Overly strong scent upon arrival to the room. The staff was kind enough to remove the candle scent from the room but I quickly realize that the candle was to hide the overwhelming algae/wet/moldy smell emitted from the room. It was worse at night time. The choice was either to have the over the top scent or moldy smell. I felt nauseous. 2. Deceptive representation of the location. The residence area is separated from a lot of the amenities and beach. You will have to cross a very busy road to reach the beach/pool/bar area. They have cross guards but aren’t the best as drivers, especially motorcyclist, refuse to stop for pedestrians. I had an incident where a motor bike rode through even with the cross guards active. The cross guard appears to be very hard working, see them there from AM to PM ! 3. The rooms are not sound proof. You can hear walking and chatter through the day and night. 4. The gym is dated, small and not enough air circulation. 5. Their ridiculous app that constantly sends announcements and also informs us that they have a policy that we cannot bring any outside food or beverages in the hotel vicinity. I get it, you want us to purchase their food, so I did. Their pizza was actually pretty good. 6. Breakfast was lacking in flavour and fruits were often swarmed with small flies . 7. They have a mosquito problem. My poor legs. 8. I would highly recommend the manager to not discipline or assert authority, with his tone, to his staff, in front of customers. It makes it awkward. We don’t need to know that you don’t trust your staff. 9. Their responses to their app text messages are a hit and miss. On one instance, it took over an hour to receive a response. If you’re going to push your app on us, upon check in, and tell us to communicate through their, plz check it. The pros: 1. The saving grace was that the staff was very friendly. Shout out to Nom for being amazing 2 . The exterior looks nice. Their colonialism architecture is refreshing. Overall, I felt that it was a 3 star (maybe 3.5) hotel masquerading as a 5 star hotel. My expectations are generally not high but they manage to make me take out my phone and actually write a review.

Nice hotel and staff are great breakfast is great and pools are nice and clean. The rooms are super clean with great aircon and comfy beds so on this front we have absolutely no complaints. The hotel does have a few issues though. If you are a couple looking for a relaxing romantic break this place is not for you. The pool area is teeming with kids screaming all day. If you are a family, the kids will love the place. There’s is much to do for them but there is no segregation unfortunately. Our other issue was the drinks. They are expensive for Thailand. 330mm beer is £3 and a coke is £2.30. That is a lot for this part of the world. A beer/coke of the same brand in the shop across the road is less than £1 pound. Trust me over a few days/weeks this ramps up massively. What’s also cheeky is if you did go to the shop you are not allowed to drink them around the pool. Foods quite pricey too! I’d suggest going down to Andre’s bar just a few minutes walk along the beach. It’s much cheaper for drinks (large beer £1.80) and food is fantastic and also super cheap. All in all not a bad resort but these small issues do ruin you experience somewhat.

I had such a great time at this hotel. The views of the lagoon, beach, and ocean were absolutely stunning. It was the perfect place to relax. The staff really made the experience special. The receptionists were super polite, reliable, and always greeted me with a smile. The bellboys were quick and efficient with handling my luggage and sorting out transportation, which made everything so easy. My room was spotless every day, and the housekeeping team was always on point. The Club staff were fantastic too, making sure I had everything I needed and serving up some great food and drinks. Everyone at the hotel was so friendly and welcoming, which made my stay even better. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it!

Amazing resort with friendly and accommodating staff. The men at the front concierge who organised taxis and shuttles were so friendly and went above and beyond to assist guest always, even when the Russians are extremely rude to them. The sports and rec staff were also excellent. The pool is always maintained and the resort always looks spotless. The breakfast buffet was delicious daily with many options available. One thing I would suggest is the front desk telling people that there is an app for you to go through the activities available at the resort. We will definitely return and already planning it.

Beautiful room on the beach. Great service. Maybe a bit challenging to understand how it works in the resort with the app. Good food. In the restaurant I would have appreciated more Thai food selection than other dishes. The timetable of the bus shuttle was not very clear on the app. Very kind staff.

We just remember this name for the best resort in Laguna Phuket. Stepping through the lobby, i was immediately struck by the beautiful and friendly all resort areas. Light, airy and very spacious.very welcoming atmosphere. The staff throughout the hotel were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. The room and SAii spa are stunning . They always greeting and smiling to us. The breakfasts were amazing. The location of the hotel is great. The facilities are well equipped with all essentials and fantastic view. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to the tourists who want to go to Phuket . Will be back to this place soon.

The hotel itself is beautiful, fantastic selection of food, bars, beach is great. Unfortunately the noise levels are so bad, this is our 3rd (and most expensive) hotel from a 2 week visit to Phuket and the least relaxing. We’ve been placed in an interconnecting room with another young family who through no fault of their own are having a very hard time with a little one. Due to the lack of sound proofing our kids are being woken constantly. I would suggest requesting a better room when booking if you’re a light sleeper.

The welcome drink was refreshing & the reception was friendly. The room was very comfortable & roomy. I am very impressed with the cleaning service. The swimming pool was awesome & a great place to relax. It was convenient to do swim at the beach and walk a few meters to then swim in the pool. The buffet breakfast service teams are to be commended, servicing the crowds everyday with a warm and welcoming smile.

Absolutely loved our stay at Katathani! The rooms are stunning and a great size, the pools are beautiful and there are heaps of food and drink options across various restaurants and bars. Staff are absolutely wonderful and nothing was a bother, they were always readily available to help. Can’t wait to come back!

Great views and easy access to the beach. Really well maintained premises and friendly staff. The resort has been expanding it's offering with more restaurants and facilities. However, I visited 2 years ago and there has been no updates or refurbishments to the rooms and they can do with a bit of a revamp.

Excellent resort! I really like it. This is my third time visiting. It's a very large resort with great shops. I particularly enjoy the Melon Cafe; they make excellent iced coffee. However, this time, I found that the bathroom was not very clean and there were some cleanliness issues. Also, there were no vegetarian options available in the room service menu. Furthermore, the resort closes very early and the place is quite far.

This is not a 5 Star resort. Our first room was on the ground floor and had a very pungent mouldy smell. They moved us to the 2nd floor which was better, but really for the price paid it’s still not good. They also had remediation work being done (painting) with rooms having tarpaulin draped over their balcony’s during our stay. Paying 4.5 star rates for this is…..really ? I would not recommend or stay there again. The staff work hard and are lovely, but this place needs to be knocked down and rebuilt.

We had a great stay at Bandara Resort. The staff there were exceptional. In particular I would like to mention the stand out staff member ‘Diamond’ who works in an around the pool and bar area. He made our holiday with his happy nature and great service. This is really good resort and we had a very enjoyable stay. We stayed in a Villa. Expensive but worth it if your budget allows. I would say 5 out of 5 for a villa and 3 out of 5 for a main hotel room. Our kids were in the main hotel. The resort overall is 4 star in my opinion. Starting to show some signs of age. The portable air conditioners in the main lobby are a good example on how the resort might need a refresh in the not too distant future. Overall a 10 out of 10 experience predominately down to overall staff service and friendliness.

We had an incredible experience. Absolutely loved the hotel, the facilities and the wonderful friendly staff. We had our 2 little grandchildren with us and it was perfect for them. Lek is such an asset to the hotel. He helped us many times and the service he provided was exceptional He certainly goes over and above to serve his customers. Pom and Ping at the bar also provided great service and looked after us well. I don't know the name of the lady who cleaned our room but she worked so hard and was so lovely and friendly. The choice of food for breakfast is fantastic and we also went to the restaurant in the evenings - delicious menu and great service. Thai night was fabulous! Lovely swimming pools and grounds. Right on beautiful beach The location is perfect for strolling along the beach to the Fisherman's Village and also for visiting other locations around the island. Thank you for giving us such a lovely experience. Highly recommended.

We spent a week at Bandara Resort and I am delighted. Wonderful and helpful service. Friendly and welcoming us with kindness and a smile. The hotel is atmospheric and full of greenery. Breakfasts are full of choice. Everyone will find something for themselves. The food in the restaurant is delicious and the portions are really big. The prices are not overpriced. The hotel is located in close proximity to the night market and other restaurants. Peace and quiet and the lively promenade was a 15-minute walk away. For us, it was an ideal location. We had villas with a small pool. Very nice and spacious. The cleanliness was at the highest level. To sum up. It is really worth choosing this hotel. When I am next time on Koh Samui, it will be our first choice.

We had a nice 3-night stay and liked the hotel a lot. It feels nice and comfortable. The rooms are clean and modern. The pools and the kidsclub where my kids favorite. We initially booked a family room that was very roomy and perfect for a family of four (kids 5 and 3). However we apparently had a problem with the toilet and there was a really bad strong smell coming from it. They tried to fix it but it did not work. We got a new (better) room offered that wasn’t 100% perfekt with two rather small kids but had its own pool. I really liked the approach and how helpful everyone was to find a good solution for the problem. The staff was very friendly the whole hotel very clean and modern. There a lot to explore very close to the hotel. Thanks a lot!

Stayed here at the end of last month (November) and had a time! The location is lovely, the hotel is lovely, the staff is lovely… honestly just one of the best experiences ever. The resort was so cozy my boyfriend and I spent most of our time there. At night we would go out to the nearby market and just check out the cute island. Can’t wait to come back when it’s sunnier!

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon. We had a fantastic experience! The staff are wonderful and kind. The pools and the beach area are lovey, we never had a problem finding beach chairs (Jan 2025). My husband and I walked along the beach and looked at other hotels and honestly we were so happy with our choice of the Chaweng Regent. It’s central and close to many bars and restaurants.

Wouldn’t even bother booking this hotel at all, it’s not worth the money. Booked for 5 nights cost over £1200 in English only stayed for 4 nights as our flight was delayed. The hotel looks nothing like the photos, slapped us with a 3000baht bill at the end of it. Rooms dirty full of insects, the bath that we paid extra for was dirty and the cleaners didn’t bother to go outside and clean it before or during our stay at the hotel The bathroom had a leak and water coming out of it they cleaned the floor and left, the cleaners don’t listen to what I asked . The night we got to the hotel I realised there was a mark on our bedsheets so I requested to have them changed and they completely ignored me. Location is perfect and the view is lovely on the beach that’s the only thing I would recommend other than that I would never be staying there again.

We have just returned from a 17 night stay over Christmas and New Years Eve. Such a lovely hotel with amazing staff. Jeen at reception went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. He was very welcoming and friendly and amazing with our two children. He is a real credit to the hotel and he really made our holiday special. Love the layout of the hotel, this truly felt like a paradise getaway. The first room we moved into had a very bad mould smell, however the second room was much better. The pool is beautiful, staff are very friendly and accommodating, location is amazing - basically in the centre of Chaweng Beach. Breakfast had a good variety of choices.

We had a lovely time at the hotel, the staff is very welcoming and kind, we took the Vila room, it wasn’t a Vila but it was good, we had a hot tub in the room. The hotel Is the Chaweng center, a lot of restaurants and bars around the hotel. The breakfast is really nice, there is gluten free options. If you looking for a quiet place that’s the place for you.
