They advertise all over the website that they are handicapped accessible - barely. Had to unload the wheelchair ramp into the traffic filled street, then travel in the street several hundred feet to get to the closet sidewalk ramp. Called ahead about parking the wheelchair van and was assured we could use the valet - nope. Too tall. Asked where we could park in that case and they said maybe this place a few blocks over, maybe not. Ended up having to scramble to find a garage a few blocks away on our own. The rooms are meh. Nothing special. We booked the family suite with one king and two queens - it's one king and two twins. The bathroom is smaller than the closet.
On the positive side - fridge and microwave in the room, and free cookies, popcorn, and Hershey bars, so that took some of the sting out. The staff were very kind and helpful, especially the valet and bellhop. The desk clerk was not able to help with parking, but that's not really his fault, and he was friendly and did his best to help... And gave us some extra breakfast coupons. The 3 star rating for service reflects the lousy unloading and parking set up. The location makes up for it all, and the price was not unreasonable for Times Square in NYC.

It’s a great location but be aware, you are in the thick of Times Square so it is busy and noisy! The room was comfortable and surprisingly spacious but the noise from the street kept me up at night. I was really disappointed that the only mirror in the room was the small one in the bathroom. They also have a very strict check in policy even though they have rooms available but wanted $86 to check in early. I’ve never had this with any other hotel unless I wanted to guarantee early check in.

I recently stayed at Hotel Edison in Times Square and was quite disappointed. The rooms are incredibly small and uncomfortable, making it difficult to relax. I tried calling the front desk multiple times with questions, but no one ever picked up, which was frustrating. The breakfast offered is minimal and the staff serving it was quite rude. Overall, the location is good, but the hotel experience fell far short of expectations. I’d suggest not staying in Times Square and if you are staying in Times Square, not staying at the Edison.

I stayed there with my friend in May for a week. We absolutely loved it - a prime spot for New York. Times Square is on 2 minutes walk, it is very lively. A lot a performances happen then. But do go early evening as the red steps are usually fully occupied by 7pm. The rooms are super clean. We had a Queen bedroom each and it was huge. Tea/coffee machine, bottled water, iron + board. Maid service every morning. I am going again next year, we loved it. Great atmosphere, the downside were breakfast menu not great & being so close to the action, it sometimes gets noisy at night but you're find in 1 of the back rooms, I had the front room. All the landmarks are walkable distance. Apart from Liberty Island & Ground zero. Even those we took the subway & were there in no time. Not tickets necessary, just flash your debit or credit card at the entrance & that's it. We walked 20,000 plus there every day and we got to see so much more as opposed on bring stuck inside a bus, which gey caught up in the traffic jam most of the time. Enjoy 😉 😉

Hotel Edison is in a great spot if you enjoy being in the heart of the Times Square buzz – some people love it, some don't, but the location is undeniably convenient. The rooms are decent for the price, and breakfast was solid too, no complaints there.
However, the parking situation was a complete nightmare. I left my car for 2 days and returned 20 minutes over, and they charged me an extra $50, claiming it counted as a whole day! It's ridiculous that this garage, with zero effort put into it, can charge $50 like that. While it's fair to mention the parking isn't run by the hotel, they do partner with them, so it’s part of the overall experience – and it left a really bad taste. The hotel itself is fine, but beware of the parking situation if you’re driving.
