I was apprehensive about my stay after seeing a number of recent negative reviews, but some of the issues were resolved after the holiday rush.
Rooms are on the smaller side, but I expected that when booking since the booking specified the room had a queen bed vs a king. My shower drained fine, but my sink was slow to drain. It wasn't enough to bother asking for a new room. The showers haven't been updated and the water pressure is weak.
I was on the top floor, so street noise wasn't a problem. The hotel is old enough to have water heating, so I heard banging in the pipes every night.
I checked out at the front desk since some people mentioned not getting their folio emailed - no issues getting an itemized receipt for me. The front desk staff were helpful and gladly assisted me when I needed something.
I like that they offer water bottles at the front desk, since I 1/ drink a lot of water and 2/ always keep my do not disturb sign on my door. They do still charge $3 cash per bag to hold luggage.
I wasn't charged a resort fee - I think because of how I booked my room? Not totally clear on that, but I booked through my credit card's reward portal if that matters.
Overall not a terrible experience and I think the experience is aligned with the price. The Lexington Hotel is relatively cheaper than other Marriott hotels in the area. It's centrally located for business or tourist activities, making it a good value for those needs. I wouldn't stay here again, but my stay wasn't unpleasant.

We are currently staying in the hotel. We came back to our room at the end of the day and there was an item missing from our room. The hotel isn’t giving us any compensation for the missing item also the protocol to get the hotel to pay for the missing item can last up to 30 days.
Do not stay here, this is the worst hotel experience I have had in mi life..

All around a top notch experience! And such an ideal location to go anywhere in the city.
They won me over when they told us at check-in that there’s bottled water next to the desk and to feel free to come grab them whenever we wish. The room they originally sent us to hadn’t been fully cleaned and gave us an even better room plus more points plus a super late check out. The downstairs bar had delicious cocktails and a long happy hour. The 2nd floor mezzanine overlooked the lobby and with cute pod-like chairs and tables for enjoying a drink with more privacy.
And I have to mention Kevin the bellhop. He was super sharp, helpful, personable, had an incredible NY accent, and the perfect bowler hat to boot! He really made the experience!
Wish I had photos to share but I didn’t take any.

Very bad experience and stay at The Lexington. Tried to checkin early and leave bags. Very long wait to checkin. Very disrespectful front desk rep. Paid $3 per bag for hotel to hold luggage. Was never called when room was ready. Room was dated, TV had majority channels not working (black screen), wife called reception 4 times with no answer. Used app to message for more pillows (they did bring them several hours later). Bathroom was extremely small and very outdated. They did offer free water bottles at checkin. Please figure out customer service at front desk and please answer room service phone calls. Don't forget to use your required $35 fee they charge.

We stayed Nov 29-Dec 1, this was our third year staying at the Lexington, and after two great stays, even booking rooms for family last year, we won’t be back.
The customer service has gone downhill and so have the rooms. When we finally were able to check in, our room was located literally next door to the elevator doors, so we were able to listen to people going up and down all night. The room in general was in desperate need of a deep clean. Toothpaste or soap splashes all over the wallpaper in the bathroom, a very chipped bathtub, a non working sink in the little bar area and sheets that were wrinkled and felt scratchy and cheap worthy of a 2 star hotel… and the carpet clearly needed steamed.
We just truly felt like an inconvenience to staff… wasn’t greeted as an elite member, wasn’t welcomed back as a returning guest, was charged to hold our bags when room wasn’t ready … tv never showed our name/status ( a silly thing but was noticed) even when we checked out we weren’t asked how our stay was .. it was like they knew there were problems and didn’t want to deal with it… Waited to get a guest survey direct and never received either… again not shocked based on experience.
Honestly just so bummed because we had loved this hotel and location and were always excited to return.
