Dear AVA Resort Team! I honestly don’t even know where to begin—our stay was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, every member of your staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Every employee we encountered, whether in housekeeping, the restaurants, the pool area, or the spa—was kind, respectful, and genuinely caring. It was such a breath of fresh air to be surrounded by people who were always smiling, acknowledging us, and eager to help. The food was outstanding! Our favorite was Black Iron, what a fantastic dining experience. We didn’t get a chance to try all the restaurants this time, but that just gives us a great reason to come back and stay a few extra nights next time. Although the resort is still undergoing construction, it was never a disturbance. The construction crew worked quietly and discreetly at night, and the cleaning crew ensured everything was spotless right after. It was impressively well-coordinated. Special shout-out to the pool team—DJ, servers, and bartenders—who brought such energy and fun to our days. And the spa… what a beautiful, serene space. Even my teenage kids couldn’t stop talking about their massages! We also want to thank the team for the incredible care they showed after my daughter had a minor slip on some uneven pavement. The staff were so attentive and concerned for her well-being. They changed her dressing multiple times and even came to the spa to assist with wound care. Their compassion and professionalism did not go unnoticed, and we’re so grateful. The only part of our experience that didn’t sit quite right was the vacation club meeting. We were told it would be 90 minutes, but it ended up lasting 2.5 hours, which cut into our valuable family time. While this was disappointing, it certainly doesn’t overshadow the overall experience. We’ll absolutely be returning to AVA Resort and recommending it to our friends and family. The resort is stunning, but it’s your incredible staff that make it truly special. They are without a doubt your greatest asset. Thank you again for such a memorable stay!

The resort is close the airport, so convenient, but although it is huge and has many pools, the beach area doesn't have the crystal blue water I have come to be used to in Cancun. The service was the best I've had from a Legendary property in some time. It was low season so everyone was able to be more attentive, and they did not disappoint. We had exceptional service from Josue at the Legendary Pool and Alberto at the adult pool. The food is great and there are many options. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely phenomenal dining experience at Chez Moi. The lobster bisque cappuccino was packed with rich, deep flavor—one of the highlights of the meal. The beef Wellington was executed perfectly, tender and flavorful with a beautifully crisp crust. I also had the salmon, which was cooked to perfection, and we shared a seafood plate that was both fresh and elegantly presented. We had a gluten allergy at our table, and the staff was extremely accommodating, offering thoughtful alternatives without compromising quality. From food to cocktails, every item was delivered with attention to detail and presentation. The service was warm, attentive, and polished. Truly felt like a Michelin-star quality experience from start to finish. Highly recommend.

Javier at the pool is amazing. He made sure our drinks were always full and that any food we wanted arrived quickly pool side. He went beyond and above with customer service. The food has been amazing thus far. One issue with AI resorts is the poor quality of their deserts and I have to say the deserts have been amazing . The pizza at Italian restaurant was amazing. The French restaurant also had amazing food and service. We are on day 3 and looking forward to the rest of our stay. I also want to add house keeping has been amazing with turn down service when we return to our room at night. Coffee shop amazing as well.

Dinner at the Livo was phenomenal, we enjoyed family style and got to taste a little bit of everything. Angel came to speak to us about the restaurant and the menu, so thoughtful of him and his team. Upon arrival we were welcomed with drinks and a wet towel that had a cucumber aroma, exactly what we needed to enter vacation mode and wipe away the airport sweat. My room is a King with ocean view; stunning! So comfortable and love every bit of it. Immediately took a nap and then showered for dinner, such a great experience for our first night in Cancun at Ava.
