the room had a minor drip from the AC unit even though we kept the door closed and the room cooled. Overall it was amazing my kids didn't want to come home. And the staff was very helpful and friendly. Definitely was comfortable letting my kids just do there thing around the resort while I had a moment to chill. It was definitely fun when me and my kids were playing volleyball with the locals and having fresh coconut water by the beach. I would definitely come back. As far as the food it was good just wish there was more selection of authentic food :)

We had the best time on our son’s first trip out of the country. The resort was very accommodating for our toddler son and he loved the characters. Very easily to navigate. The trip was taken to the next level thanks to DJ at concierge. He was top notch and took care of us and especially showed so much care to my son from when we checked until we checked out. He was outstanding and made our trip unforgettable

Great resort for young families. A bit dated, some mechanical issues now and then, but nothing to affect the trip really as they are typically fixed within the day. Resort food is good. Although after 7 days, it may lack a bit of variety. That being said, the service is amazing. Staff was great. Sure, things happen as it would if we had vacationed anywhere, but the way the staff handled it is what made the whole difference.

We’ve stayed at Beaches Negril before, but this was our first time at Beaches Ocho Rios. We were seeking a smaller resort, easier to navigate, yet still offering the amenities we were accustomed to. We were pleasantly surprised to find a water park with more than just a slide or two for the kids.
The service was exceptional, from the concierge and wait staff to the bartenders, housekeepers, and lifeguards. Everyone was welcoming and incredibly helpful. Our walk-out room to the beach was fantastic, although the rooms themselves were a bit older and smaller than what we were used to. This didn’t hinder our stay at all, as we barely spent any time indoors. The trade-off was a private beach where we could let the kids explore freely and independently.

Stayed at this resort in early December through the recommendation of a travel agent… huge mistake. The resort is 2+ hours from the airport. The resort is extremely outdated. The staff are nice but showed minimal attention to detail. Drinks and plates were on the ground for hours by the pool prior to someone grabbing them which led to an insane amount of wasps at all times. The beach is dirty and unkept. There is no shortage of staff on the property but the productivity is poor. Service at the restaurants was very slow, be prepared to sit down for at least 2 hours for each meal. Restaurants at the resort are limited and not all of them are open each night. Id avoid this resort, i would not classify it near a 5 star, we expected much more at the price point we paid and the affiliation with Sandals resorts. Save your money and go elsewhere.
