We just left beaches Ocho Rios as a family with another family. We were surprised to learn the 90 minute drive advertised on the website was over 2 hours. The resort was older and needed updating and maintenance. The grounds were beautiful! The beach and pool were nice. There were some nice servers, but we felt staff was hesitant to help us overall, rarely smiling. There was usually a 2+ hour dinner and lots of waiting and over cooked food. The last day I called for them to clean my room 4 times and they never came. The rooms near the teen club will experience loud music past midnight. We stayed at beaches before and had a very different experience. We are likely done after this experience. The family we traveled with was the best part making it fun!

Quite a drive from Montego Bay around 2hrs. Staff is amazing, rooms are dated. Buffet was good most days. Your basics with some local dishes here and there. Juice bar by the gym was nice and the grill for lunch for some jerked chicken are a must. All in all decent resort that could use some updates.

We went for a friend's vow renewal ceremony. I had a great time because I was with my family and friends, but this resort is dated. The tiles on the resort are cracked and popping up. The rooms leave much to be desired. We had a part of our party that was staying in a Sandals due to the lack of reasonably priced rooms available. We were told that there would be a shuttle so they could easily visit us, or us them, and this was not the case. There is no shuttle... Then on Friday night there were 2 weddings happening. Two of the 4 available restaurants were closed and the remaining restaurants RAN OUT OF FOOD. The regular staff are great and try their best in a lousy situation, but this was ridiculous.
If you have low expectations, you may love it. As for me and my family? We won't be back.

I had an amazing experience here! While many people say that the resort needs repairs, they are minor and I feel that they can be overlooked, and I also have to say that I feel those people are being pretty snobby. They also told us while we were there that their request for renovations had been approved and they were set to move forward in the near future. The staff was AMAZING they were also very welcoming, inclusive, and genuine. They made sure that you were greeted, felt welcome, and all your needs were taken care of.

Excellence in customer service, with a complete "Welcome Family" type of environment. The staff here is beyond words, making sure you are happy and enjoying yourself every moment you encounter them. The resort is a little older, but very well kept for it's age. Food is plentiful and tasty with lots of options. The beach is great and the Waterpark is awesome! My family had a wonderful time and we can't wait to go back sometime.
