I am currently staying at Breathless in Montego Bay, and I am extremely disappointed with my experience so far, which I would rate as zero. Despite only being here for 24 hours, the issues began immediately upon arrival.
We checked in on 11/16 and were told there was a delay in preparing our room because it was my birthday. We waited an hour in the lobby, during which our reservation seemed to be bypassed. Shockingly, after an hour of waiting, staff completely forgot we were there. My cousin had to approach the front desk to inquire about the room, only to be told that they were unaware we were waiting.
Once we finally got to our room, we were informed that our butler would come and introduce herself shortly. However, after waiting for two hours with no communication and unanswered calls to the front desk, we had to go back downstairs. At that point, the butler told us she had no idea we had even arrived. This entire ordeal resulted in wasted time and money.
Today, we left the property for the day and returned to find our door wide open. To make matters worse, we are still unable to locate a manager, and the level of customer service remains unacceptable.
This experience has been incredibly disappointing and far below expectations

We had our 20 year Wedding Renewal Service here and it was magical. We stayed 7 nights and it was 3 days after the hurricane in July and it was simply gorgeous and being without wifi for several days was nice to unwind and connect to the island! Breathless resort was so gracious and we will be back!! This trip was our 4th trip to Jamaica and as always no regrets!!

This property was stunning! From the moment we checked in Ashley made sure we were taken care of. The bartender Keno was so full of energy and was ready to make you a drink! The grounds alone for breathless were breathtaking! The food was amazing and very much healthy! I’m surprised the amount of food I ate over there and did not gain a pound. Now I’m back in the states and wishing I had some Ackee & Saltfish! I enjoyed the live entertainment everyday! My only complaint with this property is I kept requesting for the hot tub to be a little warmer! But I would definitely recommend and stay at this property again!

The staff at Breathless Resort truly made our trip unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, every single person we interacted with went above and beyond to ensure our experience was nothing short of incredible. Their genuine kindness, attentiveness, and dedication to making us feel special were unmatched. We didn’t manage to get everyone’s names, but not a single member of the team disappointed us.
Special thanks to the room service team, butlers, receptionists, bar staff, waitresses and waiters, chefs, lifeguards, entertainment team, housekeeping, and anyone else who contributed to making our stay seamless and enjoyable. You all work so hard, and it doesn’t go unnoticed—your efforts made our trip extraordinary.
A heartfelt shoutout to Shenea, Theo, Renardo, Jamila, Mackenzie and Tamara the amazing Breathless breakfast team, and the lovely beach ladies—you all truly made our trip extra special. I feel awful not remembering everyone’s names, but please know that your hard work, warmth, and exceptional service were noticed and deeply appreciated. Every interaction left a positive mark on our experience, and we couldn’t have asked for more.
The level of care and service extended to us throughout our stay was second to none. Whether it was the warm smiles that greeted us daily, the thoughtful attention to detail, or the way the team went out of their way to make every moment memorable, we were continuously impressed.
I can’t recommend this hotel enough! If you’re considering staying at Breathless, don’t hesitate. Stay as long as you possibly can—trust me, you’ll regret it if you don’t! This is a place where the incredible staff and atmosphere come together to create memories you’ll cherish forever. Thank you again to the entire Breathless team—you made our holiday one to remember!
