The staff is great, wildly kind and accommodating! I think the brand has gotten in the way of this great resort, very nickel and dime-y compared to last visit. We’re here for a friends birthday, when I reached out weeks prior, it took awhile to get a response. Options were limited, putting it kindly.
Update 14 Jan 2025: we’re active guests, seems the resort is only interested in managing complaints that can’t be remedied.

We just spent the most incredible week at this amazing place! They created an atmosphere that felt like family. The food was outstanding, we even had a Thanksgiving feast ON THE BEACH! I especially loved the service we received poolside from Sonia!! She helped us feel special and was very friendly. You won't regret booking this resort! Viva La Mexico!

Just finished a 5-night stay here! It was amazing!
Pros:
- Rooms are very clean and spacious
- The food at the restaurants and buffet are EXCELLENT
- The service from the staff is amazing
Cons:
- It’s hard to get a chair by the pool as people hog them early in the morning, however, the staff are great at clearing up chairs when you need them
- The gift shop and spa are very overpriced
- The “coupons” they give everyone when you check-in are misleading and not worth very much…it will always require you to spend money on overpriced items/services
Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this resort to others!

Good: Non stop entertainment, parties, shows and more - if you want to party definitely the place to go. Great DJs! The hotel is beautiful
Amazing friendly and welcoming staff
Very nice rooms .
We were members of their Xclub so we got one hour at the amazing gorgeous spa.
Bad:
Almost no beach ,water is not for a swim, water is dirty so if you looking for a beach vacation that Is not the place.
Food at the buffet and service room is not the best ,Restaurants are pretty good.
Alcohol at the bar is reasonable nothing special.
Overpriced Cabanas and Alcohol that comes with it.
Not enough beds by the pools, need to wake up early to get a spot .

We recently visited Breathless and were incredibly impressed with our stay. After finding out we were celebrating my girlfriend's birthday, they upgraded our room from a partial oceanfront view to a full oceanfront view, which was such an amazing surprise! However, the highlight of our trip was Lidia, the bartender at the Xhale Club. She was truly unforgettable—always greeting us with a warm smile and making us feel genuinely welcomed. On our last day, she gave us a heartfelt hug that left us feeling loved and appreciated. Lidia made our experience so special, and we’ll truly miss her. We hope to see her again someday!
