I rarely leave reviews. Let alone bad ones. The resort is beautiful, and most of the staff were fantastic, but unfortunately, I experienced several issues: 1. I had to use my credit card for another guest as a deposit because they didn't have the reservation correctly for him. The Rabbi drove 6.5 hours to come to my brother's wedding and was told a room would be ready for him, but it was not, and he had to wait several hours. 2. The resort pushed us to upgrade to a villa, and I told the person at the check-in desk that the other party might not want to do the villa. I told them the other party was on a flight and would let them know when I heard from him. The representative said he would keep our original rooms and the villa so we could decide what we wanted to do. He assured me there would be no problems if we didn't want the villa and that they would hold our rooms. Unfortunately, that was not the case. It took 1.5 hours to get the situation sorted finally. That's not great after a long trip to the resort. 3. The keys to the villa’s front door did not work, and I advised the resort's staff, and that was never resolved, either. 4. A dangerous situation occurred where the staff left my belongings outside with my medication in it, which is temperature sensitive. Since they didn't have a room sorted for me yet, they just left all my belongings outside in the heat. I called to ensure they took them in, but they never did. After trying to speak with someone, they put me on hold, transferred me, and then disconnected the call. I explained the situation to a manager afterward, and he effectively blamed it all on me. He never called the doctor or anything. The next day, I spoke with another manager and explained the situation and the gravity of it, and he said he would get in touch with someone for me. He also said they don't have a physician on staff, and I could go to the hospital. Why was I not told this before? Also, why does a 7,700-acre resort not have a physician on-site? No one got back to me until the next day, and the concierge tried their best; I provided the medication details and was told I would hear back from a manager, and yet again, I never heard back. I checked in several times, and there was no more movement. I was basically unable to eat for days, as I would have gotten very sick without my medication. I provided an alternative option for the medication to the staff, followed up several times, and ultimately did not get what I needed. This ultimately ruined several days of my trip as I was pretty ill due to not having my medication. The concierge was friendly and tried to help, but ultimately, they offered me a $300 credit to my account (my bill was already paid), which was not helpful. Also, I explained to them that having the medicine and not being sick would have been better. This was not an appropriate resolution and should not go unnoticed. I spent a significant amount of time traveling for my brother's wedding and couldn't enjoy it. Unfortunately, I would not recommend coming to the resort if you have any sort of serious or potentially serious medical issues. If you do, I highly recommend bringing extra medicine if you can, keeping an eye on your belongings, and being very forceful in making sure they take care of your belongings so that you don't experience what I did.

I recently attended a wedding at Casa de Campo. It does not disappoint! Food was great. Staff was superior as were my accommodations. Of course I enjoyed the beach. Drinks were a little watery and I was expecting better. But overall best Caribbean vacation ever.

By far the worst resort I have ever stayed at. We have been here since Sunday and it is now Thursday and we have had problems at least once every single day. Requested towels and blankets and never received them. The bathtub in our room does not work at all. The air conditioning does not go down. Our spa appointments were confirmed verbally at the spa along with our itinerary and we showed up for MULTIPLE appointments and they did not have us on the schedule. No apologies, just come back later. The next day, they didn’t have our catamaran booked even though we had confirmation. The restaurant quality is subpar and the service is not acceptable. I didn’t eat most of the food due to the quality. They made our friends move rooms without even having a room ready for them to move to. We called to make reservations for dinner and they were supposed to call us back and we never received a call back. Called again and they said to call a different number. When I spoke to the manager about our issues he laughed. This has been the worst vacation and I have not been able to relax. We came as a group of 9 and no one has had a good experience. I am in disbelief at the unprofessional and lackluster service. I am beyond angry. This is absolutely unacceptable. Do not come to this resort if you want to have a relaxing vacation!!!!!

This place is so cool! It's all-inclusive (if you book it, and i would recommend you do as the bills rack up pretty quickly if not), but with a huge twist. Being able to bomb around on the golf buggy and explore the 70k acres is so much fun. We travelled as a family of 4 with 2 girls, 16 and 12 and they loved it.

We are staying in a regular villa and it is amazing. The people are so nice and have treated us so well. Additionally, Eric our concierge has been incredible! I also have to give Manuel and Mari at our Villa all the stars possible and then more!!! If I could give them 20 stars it wouldn't be enough!! They were spectacular!!! If you can choose your staff, choose them, you can't go wrong. Hospitality, cooking, care, the total package!
