Really a great experience. I would give it maybe 4.5 stars if I could mostly because it is best to rent a villa rather than stay in a hotel room. The place is set up for private accommodation and the hotel rooms are not really the main focus.
The grounds are perfect and dining as far as I can tell is best in Caribbean. Staff are helpful, kind and “switched on”. Common areas and restaurants are beautiful. Lots to do although distances to cover are large because of the size of resort.
Downside is that there’s quite a bit of regular/bus/truck traffic on main roads and you will breathe fumes while driving your golf cart.
I wouldn’t stay in the hotel rooms (we had a casita) again. To spare the details sound isolation was very poor in the rooms and we really couldn’t figure out how to make the AC less cold.
But I’d definitely come back to the resort in a larger group and rent a private accommodation close to the main points of interest.

What an amazing experience. We have a villa with maid and butler. So worth the money. Very spacious accommodation. Beautiful pool and hot tub. Service is wonderful.

We first went 18 years ago, and memories were great. This time we booked a suite, and on the surface, lovely but…
One porch had a roof leak and dripped all over chairs.
Bedroom porch had shutters that didn’t close. So the day time nap? Nope
Suite living room porch had nicer furniture, no leak, but the shutters didn’t push back to get to slider handle. So getting out to enjoy it was annoying.
Shower had a cracked window.
Housekeeping took one of the bathrobes, and never replaced.
And the topper for us was the food. It was ok. But not yummy. So the all inclusive package, was not well used.
Golf courses were great, but pace of play was horrible on our “late” tee time of noon. 3 hours for 9 holes.
Spa? You are taken to an area to pre relax and then offered use of steam/sauna/etc. unless they forget about you in the relax room, then you get offered nothing but let’s go!
We don’t think we will be back.
Staff? Friendly and kind. But wasn’t enough to make up for other things

Disclaimer: My rating is solely reserved for their wedding department/event planning team. The resort itself is gorgeous so I highly recommend to vacation there but RUNNNNNN if you are a bride considering this resort for your wedding.
SO many issues I don't really know where to begin but I will just say it was NOT what I expected from a 5-star resort. Zero attention to detail - I'm talking they had our wedding date and venue location WRONG at one point! We had to move our welcome event 2-days before due to their team's poor planning, they forgot important details such as our flower girl flowers, played the wrong entrance song for me to walk down the aisle, didn't have our signature drinks available after confirming multiple times, booked guests in the wrong rooms, misplaced items that we had in the bridal suite...I could go on FOREVER. Just an absolute AWFUL experience that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. DO NOT PLAN AN EVENT HERE!

Great family vacation. they gave us golf carts to ride around in. The rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. They give you plenty of water to last for a week to even a month. The location is great. Great views from the golf course and the racquet center was awesome. The service and the staff were great. There were several pools. Would Recommend! (:
