We had a wonderful time at this hotel and would definitely recommend it! The food was fantastic, and we were especially impressed that the drinks were not watered down, unlike in the family section. The hotel has two pools—one with a lively, party atmosphere, and the other a peaceful retreat, which gave us the flexibility to choose depending on our mood. The beach was beautiful, with a calming breeze and plenty of coconut trees to relax under.
We were also pleased with the level of cleanliness; housekeeping was diligent, cleaning our room every day and checking in during the evening to make sure we had everything we needed.
The staff was friendly, and we appreciated the overall ambiance, though there were a few minor downsides. The spa was located too close to the pool area, so the noise from the pool disrupted the otherwise peaceful spa experience. Room service was a bit slower at night, and there was a slight language barrier since we don’t speak Spanish, but we managed without too much trouble. The entertainment was more low-key than expected, though we were okay with it; the family section, however, had more options.
One small downside was that the room could have been more functional—specifically, there was no plug point by the bedside, which would have been convenient.
Overall, this was a great stay for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. Would definitely return!

Hello- I forgot to do a review of this resort. We stayed for a week in June 2024. This was the second Catalonia we stayed at last year. Overall we had a great experience and the property is beautiful and well taken care of. They should do an upgrade at the tennis and basketball courts though. The evening entertainment on the adults side was awesome and the food was really good at all the restaurants on both sides and the room service was also good. The only cons we experience is that there was no water to shower or flush on 1 day due to construction. The water came back after 5/6pm something like that but we had no water all day. We also had a privilege room but it was facing a construction/garbage area so it was not pleasant to look at. The staff as well initially were not friendly but as we were tipping a lot we found the service we received quickly improved. When we were eating at the main Buffett restaurant we were caught off guard when the workers took shots with us, I personally did not like that and found that unprofessional, we accepted the first time but then it seemed like they were using us to take shots. We ended up politely declining to take shots with them after. We loved the privilege pool but wished the bar staff were more friendly. They also had a great food truck area near the beach for snacks in the day which we loved.
We would return again to this resort :)

Visited on the first week of december.
The resort itself is a beautiful well equipped and very well thought out place where all the amenities are available.
Room service is great and available 24/7.
Depending on the room you choose it may turn out to be an average or a great experience.
Restaurants try their best to serve different cuisines.
Beach and pool areas are quite entertaining and happening, quiet and peaceful during evening hours. Directions could be a bit improved.
Do bring medicines as it is easy to feel unwell due to weather or food allergies.
Overall you won't be disappointed if you get a good deal.

Very friendly, everything good with pool and seaside. Antonio and Alberto great entertainment guys. All waiters and waitresses absolutely brilliant service at all times and took good care of me, made me feel very welcome and never odd for being solo. TOO MANY TO MENTION NAMES but all a huge thank you. Also reception/bell boy service absolutely wonderful and friendly, overall staff had a brilliant knack of remembering you by name or fond nickname and made to feel very special at all times.
