I was there on business and my overall experience was pretty good. The room was clean. Staff were welcoming. However, at the end of my checkout, they tried to charge me twice for a pet fee when I already paid for the “pet getaway,” (which included all the pet fee charges ) which the front desk knew nothing about although I booked directly through their website. The lady (I believe she had dark hair and glass) who was assisting me went back-and-forth with me, and then once she realized that I shouldn't have been charged extra, she never apologize for the inconvenience (I had to come back to the hotel because they placed me on hold several times for over 15 minutes each time I called but when I walked in, there were no customers at the front desk). She did end up taking the extra fee off.

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza HY36 Midtown Manhattan for a week while visiting New York. The hotel room itself is clean and well furnished. It has a mini fridge and the AC works well. The beds were comfortable and housekeeping was offered daily. The hotel has a decent fitness center and a water bottle refilling station at the gym. The hotel staff was nice and friendly. Location wise - it has a lot walk to and easy access to the subway. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. My only issue with the hotel was the noise insulation. We could hear our neighbors watching TV and flushing their toilets.

Nice hotel very close to relevant places in Midtown Manhattan. The room is fine, not too big but enough for sleeping. Cleaning is also fine. The bed was big and very comfortable. The good point is that the rooms are not directly on the street so you do not hear the noise directly. The attention is nice and they offered us umbrellas on the rainy days, much appreciated.

My wife and I stayed for the weekend, and we loved it. Great location to walk to nearby attractions. The hotel was clean and welcoming, our room on the 25th floor was cozy, quiet, and relaxing with a nice view. They have luggage storage, so you can start your day before checking in, or if you still have time to kill before your trip after checking out; Kenny will take good care of you. Everyone in the staff was exceptional, special shout-out to Ryan at the front desk. We look forward to coming back on our next trip to NYC.

Stayed for 9 nights on a long city break and would recommend to others. Whilst the family room was not massive it was enough, helped by a generous bathroom with good storage. There was a fridge in the room which was large enough to store cartons of milk and food, as we were making our own breakfasts and lunches to save a bit of modest. The room was very comfy. We were on the tenth floor and heard very little noise from outside such as traffic. The air conditioning was a bit loud but It was needed through the night, and we did get pretty used to the noise it made. The location, just off 8th Avenue, was great. Attractions such as Hudson Yards and the Empire State Building were just a short walk away. 34 Street Penn Station was also close to get further afield. Shout out to the excellent staff as well, always very welcoming and friendly.
