The location is convenient if wanting to be off property from Disney. The bus is not the most convenient as it only picks up from the hotel and the parks once per hour at a specific time.
The room looks to have a DIY renovation. We had a lot of issues with the water temperature in the bathroom. Our shower would not get warm when we finally realized the knob just keeps turning, then it got so hot it would have burned your skin off, I’m certain this is not up to code. The next day the sink wouldn’t get warm water, we ran it for over 10 minutes and it never heated.
Major inconvenience was the lack of outlets. There were no accessible outlets next to the bed! Our only option in the bedroom area was to charge on the dresser across the room. In the living space we had to move furniture to be able to work and charge our computers.
The room also never smelled clean and had a very musty smell. Waiting to board my flight and disgusted with the scent of my jacket that had remained in the hotel room for the duration of the trip.
I do not think this hotel is worth the extra dollars stayed.

It’s a quite disappointing hotel overall considering everything. I think if you want to save a few dollars, sure you can consider this hotel but if you like to save a few dollars and enjoy your stay, I would not recommend it. The room had several issues such as smelly curtain inside the bathtub, lack of closet which was the first time ever for us to see, lack of safe, and not really clean.
The service at the breakfast is good but nothing too special to stand out for 5 stars. One of the staff at the breakfast had an attitude but overall the staff were alright.

I hope nobody has to have the experience I’ve had with this hotel. I arrived after 1 AM after a fun time at Halloween Horror Nights just to find the theme continue minus the fun. Upon entering and inspecting the room, I was greeted by a rather large cockroach (pictured). This was majorly concerning for a DoubleTree and I knew I wasn’t going to sleep at all after that, so I gathered my things, and went to the front desk to inform the attendant of the issue. Thankfully I lived only 40 minutes away, so I was willing to drive back home and didn’t want to deal with a rebooking or find somewhere else. She understood and ensured me I would be called the next day about a refund, due to my booking being completed with points & $$. At 4:30 PM the following day, I had yet to receive a call, so I picked up the phone. Good LUCK getting in touch with their front desk! After 4 calls and holds that resulted in disconnected lines, someone finally answered. They and their manager (George) told me I was not going to be reimbursed for anything until their third party housing department had completed an inspection and advised on the condition of the room. Ridiculous! The manager did not seem eager to help whatsoever and guest service to close this out on my end seemed to be a very low priority. I am no stranger to process and procedure; however, not being able to issue a guest refund when there was a picture of a cockroach taken is truly unacceptable. I always have a great experience at hiltons, but I was very disappointed with this. It is the next day and I still haven’t received the promised follow up. Don’t stay here if you want to have a clean guest experience that promotes customer service. You’ll be left very disappointed

Disappointed in our one night stay. After reading multiple reviews just now it seems like it’s a common theme that they are continue not to address at this hotel. Water pressure and water temperature. We left shower on for over 10 min to warm up and it remand at an ice cold temperature. To say this was the only issue we had would have been okay but when we arrived in our room we noticed how humid it was in the room. We walked in with temp at 76 and went to front desk to have them come in and set it to 78 and say that would fix it…. Which it didn’t. Every time we would let them know about the temp or water it was okay thank you. No solutions or ways to fix it or accommodate us considering we were paying a lot for one night. But that was also standing at the front counter for 15 min with no one on stand to help us… worst double tree we have ever stayed in. One near international drive is better!

From the moment my family and I walked in, service was welcoming immediately. Nothing but Professionalism. Julie, the bartender, was efficient and very informative in regard to all Disney parks. Rooms were well maintained. Dulce, housekeeper, was very respectful and made sure our room was up to date. Great hotel, we will visit again.
