Terrible 5-star hotel. It's the worst ever, even after 3-star hotels. Dinner of the 31 first 800 dollars in 2. Unbelievable. It was 6 pm, and my room was not done. The food is awful. The beach is horrible, full of algae. Please don't tell me that it is the period. We went to other beaches. They do not clean up them.. only one place for breakfast. A mess. 50 people in line to enter. Every day 20 min for a coffee. It was a total disaster. I fell and had an injury, losing some blood on my knee. There were two drops of blood in the bed. They charge for the cleanup of the sheet. Unbelievable. BTW, I am traveling to many parts of the world for work. This has been the worst experience I have had in 30 years. This hotel is a scam. Stay away. They want to sell you the membership (60,000$).

This is not DREAM any more! Rooms: need to be upgraded (didn't clean on Saturdays, Sundays, New Year etc). Beach: nice but a lot of smelly seaweeds, rarely cleaned. Buffet: food the same every lunch and dinner ever single day. New Year Eve: complete disaster, price from $300.00 to 800.00 extra for simple dinner the same like was served every single day at the buffet and sitting space, lack of champagne for people who didn't pay. Air Canada don't have any representative, nobody told us anything about the hotel, events, excursions, pick up time. We had to ask these lousy people who sell Hyatt options vacation. We paid over 11,000.00 for three people for this vacation that actually were very disappointed. We like nice location, beautiful gardens which were opened just for events (why?) nice and hard working people, but Dreams Tulum needs better management. We never come back to this resort.

Loved this resort! We had a great time at the pools. Order room service! (It's delicious). The most memorable thing was the service. The staff was so friendly! The shower was a memorable one as well. At Patio (restaurant), we were treated very well by Edgar!

Dreams Tulum was a decent resort. Things were a little run down and showed their age, but overall things were good. Our bed was probably the worst part. Wasn't very comfortable and was showing its age. I was really looking forward to Great sleeps on an extremely comfortable bed, but this bed seemed to be quite old and wasn't the most comfortable. Other than that the resort was great. Service was excellent and the food was very good as well.

We recently stayed at Dreams Tulum, and while the resort shows some wear and tear and the rooms could use an update, the overall experience made up for it. The beach and pools are stunning, and we really enjoyed dining at the various restaurants—they offered a great selection of delicious food.
As a family with a baby, we especially appreciated the kids’ area, though we wish they had a specific section for babies, as most activities seemed geared toward kids 3 and older. That said, we were able to make it work.
The only feedback we’d give is on the customer service, which could use some improvement to match the otherwise relaxing and beautiful vibe of the resort.
