Disappointing Experience Despite High Expectations⭐️⭐️⭐️
I was excited to stay at this all-inclusive resort, but unfortunately, several aspects fell short of expectations.
First, the mini-fridge in the room didn’t work throughout our stay. This was especially frustrating in a tropical destination.
Second, the cart drivers (transportation) were inconsistent. Sometimes they were quick and accommodating, but other times we were left waiting far too long. Attempting to locate the assigned concierge was also very difficult. It seemed like there was no reliable schedule or service standard.
Lastly, the resort advertised that reservations weren’t needed for certain restaurants, but that turned out to be false. We were turned away twice because we hadn’t booked in advance, which was confusing and inconvenient.
While the property itself was beautiful and in need of updates, some staff members were helpful. These issues detracted from the overall experience of a spa resort. Being sent back and forth to several locations for 3 hours to schedule activities or dinner was unacceptable. I hope the management addresses these concerns for future guests.

This resort is more tailored to 55+, as a couple in our 40's, our expectations of this resort were clearly too high.
Pros: the resort grounds are absolutely beautiful and beaches are very well kept. The food quality was great and we enjoyed everything we had.
Cons: right from the start, the transfer from the airport was not lined up or communicated to me effectively so instead of getting to the resort around 5:30-6pm, we didn't get there until 7:45pm. We were starving. Couldn't get into any restaurant, as they were an 1hr plus wait time. So we got to our room and ordered room service.
Although the food is delicious, the portion sizes are super small. No one told us that we could order multiple entrees if we wanted, until day 3. My husband thought he was going to starve to death.
The resort feels very understaffed, not having all restaurants open or accessible or any message boards or aps to tell which ones were open and which ones were closed was very frustrating.
The shuttles only stop at the pick up spots every half hour, so because of this, there's usually quite a few people waiting, you might as well walk as it would be faster.
The building maintenance is really where this hotel lacks. Our patio door wouldn't lock, took 2 days to get it fixed. The safe kept acting up where we couldn't open it. The paint was peeling, tiles cracked, furniture stained, phone worked intermittently, and pools were not heated. The ocean was far warmer to be in than the pools!
Lastly, I'm not a timeshare fan...I like to travel freely without being tied to a specific chain at this point in our lives. Although, I didn't feel pressured by the presentation or intimidated like I have attached other places, this place definitely favors members over non members. We were not treated very well by some members which left a poor taste in our mouths about ever wanting to return.
All in all, it was a beautiful resort and I was happy to have access to swim in the ocean. This hotel could be improved drastically by having an app to notify guests on entertainment, restaurant availability and wait times, airport transfer info and shuttle map showing wait times.

Resort location and grounds are beautiful. Rooms and buildings could use lots of upgrades. Food is very hit and miss, definitely not gourmet five star. The good restaurants require reservations and they only let you go to them once. The rest of the time it’s stand in line or eat buffet or room service.
Our room was musty and humid all the time. We would turn down the temperature and housekeeping would turn it back up. Very frustrating!
Although they have a mini fridge, getting water is about impossible. You can request more, you won’t get it. Bring your own water bottle and hit up the bartender for ice and water.
Entertainment was nice, but the app doesn’t always show what’s going on so you need to walk around and find something if you’re interested.
Language is a barrier if you don’t understand or know any Spanish. Most menus are in Spanish with little details in English. I did a lot of googling.
The whole resort could use more signage. Finding things is a challenge, especially the first few days. The Hidden Resort in the middle of the location makes for extra walking since you need to go around it all the time.
I’m sure this resort is great for a lot of people. We just expected more from a five star gourmet resort.

First time at this resort. Was there in November, only rained once Real good one night. Staff are perfect, restaurants were OK, I wish more were open at all times. Stayed in a swim out suite, was nice, and had a bar at one end. The beach is very nice with lots of fish to see and soft sand in most parts. Beach services was always around to take orders. Can walk for a while along the beach before ya get to the end, and it becomes too rough. Water is clear and calm, hardly any seaweed on the beach. Resort has golf carts always driving around if ya don't want to walk to a certain area.

Beautiful Resort, very laid back and zero sales to worry about. Food has been exceptional, and the staff has been top notch! Rooms are modern appearance but a little dated and could use a refresh. Location is a tick far from Cancun but we'll worth it if you're not planning to go outside the resort.
