Excellence is an excellent resort. Everything is beautiful and in tip top shape. The grounds are immaculate and the beach is pristine. Everything is well spread out and there is no crowding anywhere. We stayed in the two-story rooftop with plunge pool with a great view! All of the food was delicious and well presented. We had a special dinner in the spice restaurant where they chef presented an outstanding menu that was over the top delicious and better than most Asian restaurants. All of the service was above par on Pace with any other upscale resort. We will spend the next part of the week at the adjoining beloved resort for couples and post another review there.

This week has been amazing!! The hospitality has been phenomenal and Josue made our stay extra special by accommodating us on the beach with a cabana each day. Also our server Heidi on our last day at the beach was amazing, super attentive and so kind! The food was great, we loved Agave and the breakfast buffet.
Our room was beautiful, we enjoyed laying out on day bed at night.
We would definitely stay here again.

Josue was so amazing during our relaxing day on the beach! He was kind, attentive, and even gave us the cutest monkey coconut drink! We had a beach honeymoon dinner and Felix and Mario were outstanding! Their service was perfect! They were kind, attentive, and professional. Would recommend having a romantic beach dinner with Felix and Mario!

Such a great place to come and relax with family. We came with our adult children and their spouses and had such a wonderful time. The food has been excellent and the service top rate. The evening entertainment has been tasteful and high quality. The gentleman that played the electric violin a couple nights ago was amazing! The legends show last night with "Michael Jackson" and "Freddy Mercury" was great fun. Our poolside and beach side waiters Gustavo and German took such great care of us!

We went in August 2024 for our honeymoon and it was our first all inclusive experience, and it was amazing! Every staff member was so kind, the food was amazing and so many options, and the lazy river pool was definitely a favourite. They also did so many special extras for it being our honeymoon. We met a couple who had visited Excellence resorts in other areas who said they have all been great. We definitely hope to visit again sometime!
